You're getting the most bang for your buck with the pizza here. We ordered a spicy buffalo chicken/meat lover's split, and the pizza was monstrous. The venue is nice, only problem being its a tad small, so if you can't get a booth, you're stuck with a table suited for a giant party. It has a lovely bar set up and service is pretty good. When I visit Florence, this is one of the restaurants I frequent most often. It is a fun, laid back atmosphere that does offer outdoor seating, if desired. The pizza, which is always obviously served right out of the oven, is delicious with a wide variety of topping options. The crust is on the thinner side and is crispy. During this visit we chose the Old Faithful- pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and onions. The pizza was big enough for three adults to share. Service has always been good but during this visit they went above and beyond. When our pizza was brought out to us, our waitress told us that the toppings were not distributed evenly because they had slid when put in the oven. In addition to this "bad" pizza, she was having us another made. Honestly the "bad" pizza was perfectly fine with us, and we said that an additional pizza was not necessary. However, the waitress said that they want their product to be served exactly as it is supposed to be. In addition to this, the staff was friendly and our drinks were never empty. I was a party of two. Several tables visibly open. The hostess said I had to wait for a table to be cleaned. I'll wait. Then a party of 6 walked in while we were waiting and she sat them right away. When I politely asked why they got seated before me she said she wasn't allowed to seat me, it was against their policy. I'm confused as to which policy doesn't allow them to seat me. I don't go here very often and I'm disappointed in how I was treated. I left without eating. Can't even tell you if the food was good. ? read more

I called in my order and even went over it twice and still it was wrong and not just a little bit wrong. Super disappointing and instead of giving me my money back, they gave me $10 back. And even though we had paid for our food and almost made the unwise decision to try to make it home with our pizza, these wonderful people made the best out of the situation by offering us a table, plates, and drinks for a meal there!!! Only reason I could not give it a 5 is because one of the pizzas we ordered was the Muscle Shoals sound and it is a pepperoni pizza with a kick and last time we got it it was great but this time it was like someone dumped a bottle of hot sauce on it. However...front of house service was lacking experience (or training) need experienced service that know how to sell, push product...knowledgeable...able to keep up with high volume. Manager was wonderful!!! Took care of my problem immediately within minutes. I refused my meal and sent it back yet manager took it off the bill and was very apologetic. Perhaps on busy weekends (ESPECIALLY FIRST Friday) have a kitchen manager inspect quality control before meals go out. Just saying. Top notch menu though. read more

Ordered carry out here once and that was more than enough. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and I sent my boyfriend to pick it up. When he got there, the girl at the counter told him it wasn't ready yet (even though it was supposed to have been done already). He sat there for about 15 minutes when the girl realized that our pizza was the one that had been sitting next to her on the counter. The whole place was only about half full when we arrived, but every time our server came by he complained about how busy things were and gave countless excuses for being slow. Food was great. Ordered the Bomb calzone. However the little girl who took our name and put us on the seating list, had no organization. She was seating people before others and people who came in behind us first. Finally sat just the two us at a 8 person table while there was a family of 8 waiting longer than us. We finally got up let the 8 person family take our table helped them get menus and we took a booth by jumping someone else. We complained but no one listen. Three of us were forced to sit at an 8-top table, despite the fact that I said I would wait until a booth opened (the party behind us was a party of six). One of us ordered a draft beer which didn't arrive at our table 30 minutes later with the pizza (he repeatedly asked our server to bring his beer BEFORE the pizza arrived, or didn't want it). The pizza was nearly inedible--one of the most salty things I have ever put in my mouth. Our experience was agonizing. The pizza was ok but I do have to say a little over priced for what was received. It had great taste and was big portions however it came out cold! The appetizer that was purchased was ice cold and the service was horrible!!!!! Took 22 minutes to get one beer and it was not even busy! The hostess was extremely rude and the wait staff was too busy talking to one another at the front counter to do their job! Probably will not be back which is sad since it is a cool atmosphere and if the food was hot would be probably a four. To get a five would take hiring new waitstaff!!!! read more

This is THE BEST pizza I have had in the south and I have tried places in Nashville, Memphis, Tupelo, etc. Almost as good as some of the pizza I have had in Italy. So delicious!
