I love PG! This is, hands down, my favorite fish dinner in the area. This location has an indoor and outdoor space. There is always plenty of bar seating and booths available, even when they're busy. They have multiple locations, but this one is the closest to me; you can eat in or you can take out. I love their drinks, fish and fries. Their food is always made to order, and is delivered right to you hot and fresh. Their pizza is great too! But, I usually come here for their fish. They do run out; if you're stopping by for Friday fish, I would recommend stopping by early or ordering ahead. I can't wait to stop back in soon. read more

As one of a party of three I entered the Port Colborne location at 12:50 PM on Thursday , 8/28/25. I had made a reservation about one week before. We observed that every single table that was inside was full. Perhaps 10% of patrons were actually eating. We asked about our reservation and one of the servers said she would look for it. She disappeared. I looked on a pastry cart and saw our name, time and request for 3 people at 1 pm on a piece of paper. We found the server, pointed it out, and she said we could wait or be seated anywhere outside. IT WAS RAINING! Stopped in at about 2:30 on a Sunday. The place was moderately busy, no seats available at the bar, but there were a few booths available. This spot has a strange ordering system where you have to go order food at the back of the room, or so I thought. I was met at my table by very nice staff member who took my order. I needed to go to the back to pay. I also needed to purchase my drink at the bar and fill my cup at the fountain in the back. Pretty confusing experience. I ordered ten hot wings and a small order of french fries. Total came to about 20 dollars, pretty reasonable considering the current wing crisis. The fries were very good and came out 10 minutes before the wings. The wings were insanely crispy, which is not my preference, but would be good for someone who was into that. The sauce was very vinegary and not my favorite. My main gripe is that an order of wings took over a half an hour to get to me. Not great. I ordered pizza on a Friday night. Firstly, delivery said 40-50 minutes but my food arrived in half that time, so right off the bat I was pleased. I got the garlic pie and added ricotta, which was a great choice. The pie was a tad oily but not overwhelmingly so. The pizza was good sized and tasty. So they do pizza pies and fish fry shrimp and scallops and such I'd say realistically so for the pizza pies they are amazing and it's worth the wait because the wait is extra there's a bar there you can sit and have a wonderful cocktail the bartender did a wonderful bloody Mary with your fish fry they let the skin on the fish if you need a little fish and you say fish fishy I said she'll be fishing wasn't terrible just wasn't the best but I still go back for the pizza pie cause it was quite tasty maybe I'll try to transfer the scallops. read more

There are locations all over Syracuse, and as far as I can tell the food is about the same. This is the one we've been to most of the time. It has a bar and a decent dine in area. In true Syracuse style, they cut the pizza into strips instead of wedges. They will cut it into wedges upon request though. They have good pizza. Crust and dough are firm, but not so firm or stretchy that it steals the show. A lot of good specialty options. Not pictured here is the lasagna pizza, which may have been our favorite. Philly and meat lovers hit the spot just the same. We threw a haddock dinner onto one of our orders, and it was actually really good. Another day we went in just for a cheesesteak sandwich and wings. The cheesesteak was about as good as any other, but the bread was warm and soft, it was hands down our favorite part. And they make some good wings too. We asked for extra crispy and they came out about average. But hot gets you somewhat spicy, delicious buffalo sauce, and good sized wings that come right off the bone. Nothing crazy, but above average. One thing we immediately noticed about this location is the amount of fighting between the staff. 4-5 times we've been in there over the last few years, there always seems to be an active conflict between two or more employees playing out right in front of us. It's never really affected our food or service, but we've started to anticipate it coming in. All in all, they have great food at reasonable prices. If you brought them to a small town, they would clean house. Here in Syracuse, surrounded by dozens of other excellent pizza places, they're easy to forget. read more

Pies guys has always hit it out of the park with their food offerings. Everything is delicious and they even have some unique options on the menu. With that being said, I hope you have an hour plus to wait for food to be ready/delivered. I drive for Grub Hub as a side hustle and whenever I see Pies Guys come across it's typically a good paying gig but I end up waiting in the parking lot for about a half hour to forty five minutes. It even says on the ""pickup instructions "Please come to the restaurant to pick up the order after 40-45 minutes because they need time to prepare for the food." I understand needing time to prep food but that is a little outrageous. This typically means I'm out quite a bit of money from being able to pick up other orders. I got here with 4 other people and the place was crowded with only one bar tender working. She was very pleasant and we were patient. Thankfully another person came in and helped us with our orders. The serve was amazing! We had an amazing meal trying a bunch of different appetizers. We were here for a dog show and they even sent us with a to go box of some meatballs for our dogs! The pizza was pretty oily which effected the flop of the slice. Charlie and I were unable to pick the slice up without it flopping on our hands. The flavor was good with great cheese stretch, the wings were burnt to a charcoal with little to no taste. Placed an order yesterday for a 5 PM pick up today. We wanted to give ample notice because it was a larger order. When I arrived I was told the pizza would be out in two minutes. 10 minutes later I was told the wings were ready but we're waiting on the pizza. I was told it would only be five more minutes. 20 minutes later I went back to the counter to see what the holdup was. The woman at the counter said "I'll get the owner this is ridiculous. The pizza guy just walked out the back door". A couple minutes later and my food came out, I never spoke to the owner I was just given my food and I left. This was a total shit show and I hope they get their act together. I was one of about eight people whose orders were behind as well. Very clean atmosphere with several High Backed chairs around the bar and a center island that has 4 bigscreens on each side so 8 in total. [SU vs DUKE would be Sweet here]. Its what i would call intimate setting as it can hold at max capacity under 75 people. They have a shuffleboard table with a top that currently has a Pong game set up. The bar top was a nice touch looks sharp against the stained planks motif on the walls. They offer a few drafts which were on a big board behind the bar with % listed for each. We ordered a large pepperoni and sausage, Char grilled honey BBQ wings, chicken tenders and french fries. Everything was outstanding! The sauce on the pizza had a kick to it that was wonderful. and the toppings were great. The chicken wings were actually crispy and well flavored. We hate rubbery chicken wings! The tenders and fries were well fried and we got a huge portion. We have very little to order from that will deliver to Onondaga hill and this will now be our go-to place. read more

I bit overpriced but we heard the pizza was good so we decided to give it a try. My son picked up our order, and when he got home he told me I wasn't going to like what it cost. The charge for this "Special" was $58.39! I called to inquire about the exorbitant charge and I was told this was "The Biden Price". I did't quite understand and when I asked what she meant I was rudely asked if I had seen the price of gas or heard that there was a chicken wing shortage. I was told that if I had COME IN and seen "their board" I would have known their "updated prices"and that their online prices had not been "updated". Misleading much? I was also VERY RUDELY told if I didn't like their prices, to go somewhere else for pizza! They never gave my total over the phone which I thought odd as the woman taking the order was about to give me the price and then stopped (probably on purpose).
