Indifferent about this place. I neither love it or hate it. Apparently, I am in the minority because the times I do opt to come here, it is usually filled with non-stop action. First off, there are several ways to get into the place so you might end up entering into a web of various activities occurring. Once you emerge from that, you need to decide if you are dining at the "pier" or the "cafe/ restaurant". The set up is very chopped up, and maze-like. Anyway, if it's a lovely day, opt for the pier side, since they have a beautiful deck, and the bar opens up to the outdoors. If you are looking to play any of the video/sports like activities, watch a game, opt for the cafe side. I still manage to confuse the dining options when checking in with the hostess. It's almost as though one might need a mini-tour of the place before committing to which side suits you. Once seating is decided, it's time for the menu selections. This is where I take a detour with my impression of the place. To me, its basic food. No real frills. No must - haves, no uniqueness to boast about. No real dissatisfaction either. However, If I can recommend anything, it is to make arrangements to be part of the pier crowd during the air show that takes place nearby. Fabulous view, and great entertainment while enjoying a cocktail or two as jets soar past overhead. No regrets with this one.

Great views from the deck! Great food reasonably priced. Specialty drinks tasty but a bit pricey. ( no prices on drink menu). We are definitely coming back many other items to try!

Even the tortilla chips were stale.

Not recommend. Nothing about this place was good. The menu was not cohesive and all over the place. Nobody in our party of 3 finished any of the food including our appetizer. I feel ripped off.

    Nice greasy pepperoni pizza.

This place has the same menu as Sharky's but an infinitely better atmosphere. I ate at Sharkeys one night and the pier the next. Being here on business this was the convenient option as it was within walking distance from the Marriott. I consulted on the thing to get as far as food and pizza was the common option for both places. I took the bartender up on the pizza option, I was not disappointed. New York ish style pizza with really good flavor. The service was top-notch and all the waitresses and bartenders were on it. If I had one criticism it would be the lack of a competent manager to keep things running smoothly. People waited for someone to seat them and people waited at their table because no one told the waitress that they were seated. I'll go back the next time I'm in town but hopefully they have a decent house manager when I do.

Last night I went to The Pier for drinks, apps, and the Thursday night music. Every Thursday night during the spring-summer season a band will play from 8-10pm. The bands are usually local and include in a wide variety of musical selections. Onto the food & drinks. I had a Purple Rain drink, very sweet to the taste, and recommended by the waitress after discussing what I like. It was awesome. I also had the wood fired wings and skillet red pepper dip with "pizza chips". The food was excellent as always! The wings were full and juicy, while the dip was sizzling hot being served in a skillet. I will always recommend this restaurant - especially on Sunday's for BOGO wood fired pizza & bottomless mimosas during brunch.

Wow. We went here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Located adjacent to regular Sharky's, The Pier at Sharkeys gives you a seaside feel with the deck seating, breeze, island decor and great music. For our appetizer we ordered the giant pretzel with four dipping sauces. Very good. For my meal I ordered the lobster mac & cheese with pasta. It was out of this world. My wife ordered the crab stuffed shrimp. You can check out the pictures below! My two small children split a woodfired pizza and it was very good as well. The only downside, and this might be nitpicking, is the price. For an appetizer, three adult drinks and the three entrées, the bill came to $74. With tip, we got out just under $100. A little pricey but that's okay. We will be back for sure. The food, atmosphere and service were terrific.

Busy intersection, no windows, and a front door that doesn't work... but don't let that fool you. Entering through the patio entrance, the outdoor seating is an oasis somehow perfectly separated from the busyness just beyond the sidewalk. We opted to sit inside on a humid day.. simple but fitting! The menu is only tapas, but the small plates don't contain small flavors!! We love to split tapas with friends, so we ordered a table load and went all in. We selected: - Street Corn Dip - no notes. Gooey, well seasoned, and plenty of fresh corn! Abundance of chips, more than enough! - Bruschetta Flatbread - every available inch covered in fresh tomato, lacking in the balsamic glaze, but still a fresh, refreshing bite. Honestly, this is a huge tapas, 8 pieces and easily a meal on its own - Headkeeper Toothpicks - THESE ARE THE SHOWSTOPPER!! Clever concept, perfectly executed! Crispy tortilla wraps loaded with chicken, peppers, onions, and gouda. And DOUBLE dips!! - Banh Mi Eggrolls - large tapa with a big eggroll for all four of us. Crammed full of toppings and well seasoned - Balsamic Marinated Grilled Vegetables - great variety, one of each veggie, but a little too much oily sauce (Pro Tip - we cut these up and put them on top of the bruschetta - perfectly paired!!) - Cauliflower - large portion, almost half of a head of cauliflower, dripping with truffle oil, but soooo tender to eat - Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes - only 2, but packed with crab and delicious sweet-chili & coconut-lime sauce! - Lo Mein Bowl - another tapa that could be a full meal, tender beef, but the seasoning was just off for us And of course... DESSERT! Thankful to go on a double date where one from each couple wants to split desserts too. Why not try the best part of the menu too? Vanilla Crème Brulee - a perfect sweet blend of vanilla and custard with a scrumptious layer of brûlée Strawberry Scooter Crunch Cheesecake - decadent swirls of strawberry through the cheesecake and a crisp layer of scooter crunch all over Tell you what! The sauces and pairings show how ingenious this culinary team is... and looking at reviews, the menu rotates and I'll have to try some of the fun items that I've seen from other seasons!

She offered to make a chocolate martini I said ok that sounded good. My husband ordered a beer. Two minutes later. The waitress came back, and asked what we wanted to order. We were so confused . We ordered again acting like she didn't just take our order 2 minutes ago. I actually ended up changing my order and asked if they had a "house" pilot grigio. She said yes. She asked if we were going to order food and we said just drinks tonight. 5 minutes pass and she brings a large appetizer to our table. I said we didn't order this. She asked if we talked about it though . We said "no" we were never ordering food. I was so taken back by this experience I wanted to cash out after our drinks. I headed to the bar and asked for our bill. We were going to leave cash and leave because the whole situation was very uncomfortable. (Thinking 20 would be enough for the drinks and tip) We finally get the bill and the house wine is on there along with the beer. The total was $37 for 2 drinks. How can a house wine be $17 for a glass? As we left, the whole situation didnt sit right with me. I called later to ask how much a glass of house wine was and the person that answered stated $9.

In any case we placed our orders, I ordered the breakfast platter special, which was fried chicken and biscuits with country sausage gravy my wife ordered the eggs Benedict my daughter for her birthday ordered the French toast with two eggs and my son ordered the chicken and waffles. Talking first about the chicken and waffles. I've come to see that many locations offer chicken and waffles. This being about average for what I would consider chicken and waffles as it was a small filet cut in a half upon a very thin flat waffle, which would've done better to be a Belgian waffle with a much fluffier plump chicken filet. My son did enjoy it but when he finished it the server came by and he says did you enjoy that? Was it good, it must've been good because you ate everything! Then let's discuss my wife's eggs Benedict, which she thoroughly loved. However, the ham looked like it was sliced deli ham for a sandwich instead of Canadian bacon or a little thicker slice of country ham. It's not my call, as my wife said she enjoyed it. My daughter enjoyed her stuffed French toast and egg. Everything was cooked to her liking and she said it had a good flavor and of all four dishes that certainly was the best of the four. as for the last dish, my Sriracha sausage gravy, fried chicken and biscuit with home fries, the jury is still out as the home fries came out a little overdone and cold. The sausage gravy looks like somebody spread it on with a paintbrush, and it wasn't very warm. The chicken was warm and did taste good and the biscuit was good, but it made no sense when the server said, it comes smothered in sausage gravy. Take a look at the picture, and it looks more like a couple tablespoons of gravy on each biscuit with the chicken. We did have a good time and the ambience of the place was very nice, especially seated along the windows looking at the snow outside and perhaps we'll give it another shot at a later date. Overall, nothing over the top but nothing to make us fear coming back either. It was just kind of middle of the road, but I am glad that the nicest dish and the best presentation went to my daughter for her 20th birthday. At least that was a saving grace as well as the lunch with the movie, listening to the various antics and chatter coming from the server.

Jell-O shots elevated quite a bit. Our appetizer was chef's choice which was burrata with grilled eggplant, peaches, greens and baguette. All so good! We enjoyed some extra cocktails from the menu, a blackberry mojito and a white Negroni with the appetizer. Then the entrees came along. This was the only part of the meal you had a choice in and you have to advise them ahead of time what you would like to eat as the main course.
