December 2025 - a grand beautiful historic hotel with doorman, great location right across Central Park, walking distance from the subway, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Bergdorf Goodman etc. Why the two stars ? Utterly disappointed in our Executive Suite rooms 532 and 535 on the fifth floor. Dark plain hallways and rooms In dire need of a facelift and interior design. Executive Suite rooms 535 on the 5th floor -accommodates 3 people -$50 fee for rollaway bed upon request for the 3rd guest -2 full bathrooms -Spacious suite -No view of the park or the city -Hideous views (see images) -No coffee or tea available in the room Executive Suite room 532 on the 5th floor -accommodates 3 people -$50 fee for a rollaway bed upon request -1 bathrooms -Large suite room -No coffee or tea available -Kitchen with sink, fridge and microwave -No view of the Central Park or the City -Hideous View see images -Unable to fully open bathroom shower door and water leaking onto floor. -no reception for the the bathroom TV I had grand expectations for the Pierre Hotel $5200 for 2 rooms for a 2 night stay. Utterly disappointing. The booking includes hotel fees and also complimentary breakfast for 2 days at the Pierre restaurant. One star for the Pierre restaurant, it was not bad but their breakfast menu was nothing out of the ordinary. I did enjoy their pork and turkey sausage. The Indian omelet was a regular omelet with chili added without any curry sauce. Expedia VIP membership No upgrades available Utterly disappointing Recommend booking at the Plaza Hotel or any other hotel in this area.

Victor and all were so so welcoming and helpful. Wonderful service. Spoil yourself . It's pleasing to be here. The decor. The murals . Art. Staff shares stories that Jackie Onassis , Audrey Hepburn and other "A" List stars stayed here. It's near fine museums. I was at the Frick and decided to dine here. Absolutely everything on the menu was tempting me. The fish items were catching my eye! My bff enjoy the filet minion. Delicious. A delight. I loved my salmon and fava. Our salad was absolutely so fresh & delicious. Desert was in the chocolate shop in the hotel. Thanks to all who care for all the guests. I would definitely come back.

The Pierre, an icon of New York City's hospitality industry, happy to re-visit. We went to see "The Magic Table". TMT table is an all virtual show where the audience is an active participant of the show. There were 5 acts-5 meal courses, each served ready to partake after each act and it was delicious. The audience left with a gift/favor from the show as well as from the hotel. The Pierre Hotel is worth a visits .

A great historic hotel, its location is the main attraction for me. You are paying for the old glamour but is not a truly five star hotel. Dirty carpets, at The Rotunda the table covers were dirty, scratches in the wall covers. When we got to the room there were not one detail like other hotels you expected some sweets or cookies, nothing. The water provided was a regular Polar water bottle. I have to say the staff from the front desk, bar, elevators, Perrine and front doors were absolutely fantastic. I stayed on the 38th floor and the side view of the Central Park was amazing.

It's a wonderful place to enjoy a tea that we watch in movies or TV shows even though it's a bit on the expensive side the experience that the place gives us excellent the starters and the appetizers and the other finger food were very delicious and good. The tea was nice warm and very flavorful a nice place to go for, a high tea experience aroundNew York

It's The Pierre! Iconic. Beautiful ambience. Professional staff that anticipates your request. Rooms are quiet & comfortable. Fabulous location. Expensive but worth it.

Alright, I don't often get to stay at NY hotels since rent itself is high enough, but since that's no longer a thing... time to try out some NY hotels that I've been long curious about! The place is gorgeously historic (albeit a little dated, but I do love that old timey feel), and lavishly appointed. While our room was small (welcome to NY), the personal touches were nothing I've ever seen. I leave a pair of glasses on the table? Turndown service leaves me clothes to wipe my glasses with. Slippers are way fluffier than other places I've stayed. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but all the aminities, bath salts for soaking, little tub basket to hold your Champaign while taking a bubble bath... the list goes on. The elevator staff and valet are also incredibly nice and friendly. I think my summary is that this place is just... nice. Everything is done to help make your day just a little easier and smoother. I can definitely appreciate that, at the same time the price is definitely on the higher side. But if we have the opportunity to stay again (given work trips!) I will look forward to coming back!

A friend who frequents NY recommended that I consider staying at The Pierre. After noting the property recently won the coveted Forbes 5-star award for 2024, and seeing all the perks offered by booking through AMEX, I decided to book this for a mother-daughter trip to NY. The location is perfect, next to Central Park and the Subway along 5th Avenue, and offered a warm and welcoming home base for our week long stay. We were excited to learn of the (almost) 100 years of history and were charmed by the warm and friendly staff throughout our stay. Our needs (even the unexpressed ones) were anticipated and we simply did not want to leave. It is worth it to book the guestrooms facing Central Park! We especially enjoyed the traditional elevators and the elevator attendants, which make it a quintessential classic NY experience! Be sure to take advantage of the helpful concierge team - they steered us in the right directon for anything from coffee, museums, restaurants, bars and entertainment. We are grateful for this extraordinary team of professionals who work here, and couldn't have imagined a more perfect stay in NY. The hotel is great for weddings and corporate groups, the ballroom is exquisite! Rooms are super clean and housekeeping comes 2-3 times a day. Beds are super comfy and the property is well maintained, with recent renovations too. They do cater to a lot of Indian travelers and even have rooms decorated in Indian style. Indian menus available too.

It's clean and service is exceptional, but the hotel needs a facelift. It's definitely on the older side and shows it.

For this Marriott the location is excellent if you are going to watch a show on Broadway. Very convenient for the play and also get a subway to anywhere else you have to go. The rooms are generally very nice and this hotel also has everything connected and controlled through a tablet which is very appealing to me. They also have a nice bar right in the hotel that is open till late. The only downside is the size. Now hotels in major cities like this like New York or Tokyo are small and pricey. Two things that can sort of negatively affect your opinion but considering they are all like that in the area, you have to compare accordingly. The only real downside for me is that the toilet is literally next to to the shower to the point that you could shower while using the toilet (I took a picture of my hand holding the shower handle on top of the toilet seat as a joke) and the sink is outside to wash your hands after using the restroom. I feel that they could have done a better design for this to avoid it. It didn't appeal to me and it's the only thing keeping me from giving this hotel 5 stars. I will probably stay here again when I go to watch another play.

One thing to note: the hotel sits right above a sports bar, so it can get noisy when there's a game on. The gym was a low point. You enter on the first floor, but the lobby is on the sixth floor. I was having flashbacks to Tokyo... There are four elevators, and when I checked in, the place was packed. Some event must have been going on because getting an elevator was an adventure (a sad one). It didn't help that everyone had to take an elevator just to reach the lobby, then another to get to their room. Fortunately, I was only on the ninth floor...so I got my steps in. The room itself was mostly ok. One thing I really didn't like was the air conditioning. It wouldn't cool below 68 degrees. I despise hotels that throttle the A/C. I'd get warm, the air would finally kick on, I'd be comfortable for about ten minutes...then the cycle would repeat all night. Another thing that caught me off guard was the ceiling. Maybe they're going for an industrial look, but it was basically unfinished concrete. Other than those complaints, everything else in the room was perfectly acceptable, and for a one night stay, it did the job.

The Library Hotel is every bit as charming as people say, but what really makes it special is the team. I arrived by car while the building was hidden behind scaffolding, and the front desk was incredibly kind and patient, helping guide me to the loading area so I didn't spend my afternoon circling the block. Housekeeping was so gracious and helpful throughout my stay, the bartender at Bookmarks very kindly helped my friend carry our drinks down to the room, and checkout took less than 30 seconds. Every interaction was warm, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The themed rooms are such a fun touch (I loved seeing how each one was inspired by a different subject), but I also have to give a shout-out to the practical things. I took a few work video calls from my room on the 12th floor, and the Wi-Fi was ridiculously good - honestly stronger than the Wi-Fi in my own house when I'm sitting five feet from the modem. Not a second of lag. The TV also had a ton of premium channels, which was such a fun surprise after long days exploring the city. And finally, a standing ovation for the real MVP: the air conditioning. New York was basically a sauna while I was there, and every time I walked back into my room I was greeted by the most glorious arctic blast. It was so good that my friends ended up wanting to hang out in my room and order dinner instead of going back out into the heat. Perfect stay from beginning to end. I can't wait to come back.
