Pretty cool little bar on Main Street Klamath Falls. Hard to write a bad review for it but here it goes. The Pikey has some pretty cool parties on holidays, New Years, Saint Patties etc. So If you are looking to mingle and meet new people, or just bump into old friends, that's when you should go. The problem with the Pikey, every other day, and Black Dogs too, is this Klamath Falls security detail called "Blade Security." These guys are totally ate up. Not that I'd trust any of them to "Bounce" anything if it came to it, they actually use their positions to wreak a good time for the sake of a power trip, or to prevent singles from hooking up. If there isn't a large number of folks there, they will involve themselves in the most minuscule detail of your evening, or just flat out fabric some reason to send you on your way. The reason given for trespassing me from the Pikey was that I involved the cops, when there were threats of violence. Who doesn't involve the cops when there are threats of violence? The cops handled the situation perfectly, and bars should have good relationships with them. Anyway, cool bar, fun holiday parties, very poor bouncing. read more

After a long day exploring crater lake, we came down to Kalamath falls for dinner, knowing that most places would likely be closed for the fourth. That's how we stumbled upon the Pikey. An unassuming dive bar like Irish pub, we were expecting some pretty standard drinks and burgers. We started with a round of wings, selecting the cayenne Hawaiian and Smokey bbq. Both sauces knocked it out the park and I found myself trying to scrape up as much as I could. I went with the Santa Fe Burger with sindwinder fries and extra spicy aioli on the side. The burger was thick, juicy and cooked to my perfection (medium to medium well). The fries were crispy and warm and I could stop eating them despite how full I was. The beer batter coating on them really brought it to the next level. My friends also enjoyed their big easy burgers and the sloppy Joseph. Our server was friendly and able to answer any questions we had. If you're in the area, don't let the outside fool you. Truly a fantastic spot! read more

They aren't kidding, everything is made fresh in-house...The food was so delicious...we started with the Mac & cheese bites and could've made a meal on those, homemade and delicious! I had the Philly cheesesteak grilled cheese all I can is WOW! The onion rings were crispy and delicious with just the right amount of salt! We were looking for a casual place with the best burgers around after spending a day at Lava Beds National Monument caving. The Pikey was a little bit of a drive, but ohh boy it was worth it. We ordered the fried Mac and cheese bites and two hand crafted hamburgers. I had the Umami Tsunami and my hubby had the Bacon Bleu. The burgers were the best I had for a long time. Great little spot in KF. The burgers and beer are fantastic. My friend ordered wings and got fried chicken but when she told the server, she got no compensation. It's hard to find good spots in KF so we were happy. Bathroom doors have no locks which really should be an easy fix. read more

Popped in from Florida on our way through town. Had the cheesesteak and the flavor was sensational. A little spicy, but not too much. Not what you expect from a cheesesteak, but in an o so positive way. Wish it was closer to Florida!! Husband had the ranger burger and said it was great. Passing thru in the way to Reno, stopped for the night. Looking for something to eat, found this. What can I say? OMG! So tasty! Service super quick, DH had a Guinness and shepherd's pie. Pleasantly surprised by this place! I couldn't get over the size of these burgers, good luck fitting your mouth around them-but in the best way possible! I got the deluxe spicy burger, boyfriend got the chicken club and the double stack burger! Both were good but definitely stick with the burgers as that's their specialty. The Pikey is what you might imagine an Irish pub style bar to be. The name is defined as a UK derogatory slang term meaning a gypsy or vagrant. I saw no gypsies there. What I DID see was some great food! My sister had a corned beef Ruben sandwich, my brother had a spicy burger, and I bravely ordered the fish and chips. All items were great, but the big surprise was that my fish and chips were on par or better than I have had -even over some closer to the sea. I know cod is frozen, but most all deep sea fish and shrimp are now (usually frozen on the vessel that catches it), but how a restaurant handles it's food within the 4 doors is a strong clue as to other things like overall cleanliness and respect for the food. We only visited once, but next time I Amin town- let's just say I am "hooked"! read more

The lady that checked me in my hotel recommended The Pikey for dinner, supported by these Yelp reviews. Maybe for locals, this is the go-to spot. But in reality, it's just your typical Irish bar. TV's everywhere, Irish bar vibes, Irish bar setup. They have a unique selection of burgers and your standard beers. No local beers on tap, which was disappointing. Burgers seemed to have really fresh ingredients, which was a plus. Service was fast and efficient. Another plus: get the jalapeno ranch sauce as a side. I've had spicy ranch sauces before, but this one they serve here def took the spiciest I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the yelp burger pics; they are pretty standard size and not as big as they look on photos. I upgraded to onion rings for my side for $2. I got 4.5 rings (the .5 was a little fried onion stibble no larger than my Apple Watch). For what I got in my $17 burger and onion rings, its overpriced. Those are San Francisco prices for nothing particularly special. I wouldn't consider Klamouth Falls as a culinary hotspot, but I was sure I could have done better for a weekday dinner. read more

This is a great place to catch a game but also have some solid food. Spent 5 months working in K-Falls and went here several times. My favorite was the fish and chips with their pub fries. Fish was always moist and tender and the batter had a great crisp. Always tasted fresh. The pub fries are great, some are super crispy and some are like Baked potato wedges. Big selection of burgers which are very good too. They are filling, so you better be hungry. Sidewinder fries are great too. Fried cheese is awesome too. Skip the fried pickles. Nice beer selection, homemade desserts and a nice cocktail menu. The service though is really what gives this place 5 stars for me. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're in K-Falls this should be a place to go to. read more

We stopped for dinner at Pikey on our way north. Devin, the bartender, promptly greeted us, delivered menu, dropped off water. Service was prompt, friendly, and professional. Food was AMAZING. My husband and I both come from the service industry and frequent restaurants from dive bars to fine dining. This was by far the most pleasant experience we've had in a restaurant since before COVID! Best fish and chips I have had in quite some time. Get the thick curly fries with a side of their jalapeno ranch!! So good!! Also had a pint of beer for less than $4......what a great meal!! Only drawback I experienced was the speed of service was a bit slow since staff behind the bar were doing it all. So you have to temper expectations a bit since this is more a pub than restaurant. The pub fries were thin cut but wide, shaped like a flat apple slices. They were good but most were cooked longer and a little brown and crispy. I like soft in the middle thick steak fries so I liked the curly fries better. Philly Cheese Steak Grilled Cheese was AWESOME. Perfect thickness crispy grilled bread, loads of yummy cheese, bell and red peppers, little bit of grilled onion, and juicy steak. Perfect balance in every bite. Best Philly Cheese Steak I've ever had. Made fresh and seasoned just right. Jefferson State burger was excellent. Nice big perfectly cooked medium rare patty.
