This food pod was a nice surprise in Lincoln City, off of HWY 101 and SW 51 street, you will find an ample food pod with many food cart options. From Burgers to Hawaiian food, you will find indoor and outdoor seating. the indoor seating area is huge, it also offers a bar area and self serve coolers with a variety of drink options. They have a stage with entertainment. We tried the Hawaiian cart Lei, they had a special with pulled pork and chicken, served with macaroni salad, steamed veggies and kimchi. It was a huge portion of food, we shared it along with a dish from the Thai cart Cozy kitchen, we split the chicken and veggies with a side of gyoza. The food was amazing and well priced. We found a table inside the indoor seating and enjoyed the music while we feasted on our meal, after dinner we walked back toward our hotel. It was a nice find close to walking distance from the TAFT district. read more

What a great place!!!! Bring the family and friends out to eat and each person can choose what type of cuisine they want! They have plenty of parking, outdoor space, a great inside pavilion to eat....HOWEVER NO PETS!!!! The choice was hard but we have been on a Hawaiian food kick lately so that's what we chose, Lei Aloha........Husband loved his with 2 pouched eggs with kimchi (). I had teriyaki chicken, rice, broccoli and macaroni salad. My chicken was WAY overcooked and the Mac salad was not very good..... We will return to try another food truck! That being said the pavilion had nice, clean, restrooms, nice music, bar, gift shop and whatever soft drink you would want! Came here to get lunch with the family so we could all get what we wanted. I love that there are a variety of carts to pick from. We ended up ordering from three different carts. One of them (can't remember the name but it was Mexican food) was a bit of a dud but the other two were great. This pod had both outdoor and indoor seating which is nice. The bathrooms, while dark, were clean. Just a reminder that dogs are not permitted and neither is outside food. We don't come to Lincoln City often but I'd come back to this pod in the future. read more

The only place I know of in Oregon that is a food truck hub that doesn't allow dogs on the patios inside the gate. They have a couple tables set up out front on the noisy hwy basically on the sidewalk that you can have a dog at. I'm here with my special needs daughter and my 3,5 lb minpin not able to dine since I can't go in the gates with my puppy. Plus there's no easy way to get to the front on their property without having to walk around other businesses to get there .. Not inclusive. Not pet friendly. All for the reasoning of not wanting to pay for the insurance. Poor quality reason to be treated like second rate customers. Noticed it's also listed as wheelchair accessible...most of the tables outside are not able to be used by a person with mobility issues due to gravel. read more

The Greek (lamb) plate was weird and dry, actually a bowl not a plate. Very disappointing as I sure miss good gyros, but sometimes second best is what you get in rural areas. First, the folks at the bar inside are incredibly friendly and service is amazing there. Stop there and ask if you're unsure what food trucks have the best food - they made great recommendations! The sushi truck has really fantastic options - and their miso soup is really good. The coconut shrimp at the Thai truck is great and the fries at the burger joint when made "extra crispy" were fab. The steamed Himalayan momos were also a good choice. We'll be back to try the poke truck and the sandwich truck both of which were sold out by 4pm and highly recommended by the locals. read more

Such a surprise to come across The Pines Dine. This great venue offers a full bar, cider and beer list that is impressive but I was here for food. This is a brick and mortar with food truck options. We ate at Rook and Larder which did not disappoint - delish ... my best meal in Lincoln City. The vampire soup and blackened rock fish po boy need I say more - perfection. We also got the Mac n cheese which was a massive portion made with the cheese clinging corkscrew noodles and had crips bread crumbs. And we got the pork belly ramen hitting all thw right flavors. Staying in Lincoln city for a few days and went back to the Pines several times to eat and have cocktails. Wesley knows what he's doing. He makes an absolutely outstanding old-fashioned whiskey. They were so good. I had to have a couple. He definitely is an outstanding employee. He stays busy and makes sure the whole facility stays neat and clean. Love all the food carts. It's great to have a spot to go to where your group can all get something totally different they choose to. Support local businesses shop small. I will definitely be back. read more

Vacationing in Lincoln, our second year, decided I needed to stop in here this visit. This food truck venue is awesome! There are a variety of food trucks surrounding three sides of the building. We ordered from the Gyro truck, they had the most options for a vegan. We stepped into the big beautiful building for a beer. Wow, sooo many beer and cider choices. The bartendress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the products sold. The venue sells merchandise from Guatemala and other local items. The venue is kept very clean you can tell a high standard is upheld. A center stage advertised up coming events and I believe the venue manager spoke with us as we had questions about an upcoming Toga Party, live music, food trucks, merchandise! Our gyros were delicious, my only regret was ordering the vegan one as it did not come with the yummy cucumber/ yogurt sauce, that was missing. The falafels were homemade as tasty, the right about of spicy kick. We shared an order of French fries, they were fresh with spices. I love Oregon food truck venues and the fact they now are including a venue to sit inside with a choice of adult beverages. Worth the stop if you are in the Taft neighborhood. read more

We went for our first time last night as the food trucks + inside brew pub seating and Wednesday night Music Bingo sounded fun. The trucks: With a variety of nationalities and options to choose from, we walked to each reading menus several times before deciding on just appetizers until we inquired at two and learned that both the spanokapita and the potstickers are both purchased frozen. So we decided on splitting an Indian wrap instead. (Spoiler: Boy were we in for a treat!) We moved inside to await our order checking out the bingo which is a sort of name that tune and bingo which had it been Classic Rock, that would be fun and also good music to watch by. When we discovered 80's, 90's and rap, it was a hard pass, and feeling sorry we ordered, we waited to takeout instead. Upon receiving wrap, the first thing we noticed was its enormous size and heft, (figuring it must be mostly rice.). When we got home, unwrapped and cut it, we stuck it into the me to re-heat, knowing it wasn't best for the outer wrap. OMG' Delicious! The "tortilla" was nicely pan charred, crispy, chewy, soft and yummy, definitely tasting homemade. The filling was tasty, full of delicious tandoori-red chicken chunks, peas, rice and absolutely marvelous saucey flavor. It was definitely big enough as a main course for two, (we had cut up fresh raw vegetables and a beer - simply perfect!) The food truck village is a great concept and our choice of the Indian chicken wrap was fantastic. Another couple highly recommended Momos (handmade Nepalese Street Food) and can verify the dumpling soup looked both pretty and yummy. The burgers were quite expensive and not as exciting as other choices, (which could be good option if quality meat, toppings and roll is prepared well, and especially for the less adventurous eater in your group. The Rook & Larder was closed which we'd wanted to try and as each is independent, what's open may vary. I read in a ton of Google reviews that there was a rude-screaming blonde manager, but luckily we didn't hear or see her. Would we return? Maybe, and especially if i lived here and didn't feel like cooking . Would I recommend you check it out? Sure! read more

Tons of different trucks to choose from, only half were open the day we went, but most the restaurants in the area were also closed so we were happy to find a place with several options! There is an inside area for seating on rainy days with a bar with a lot of non alcoholic drink choices in a few fridges. There is a cornhole game outside with several picnic tables. We tried food from at least five different carts plus a Bobablastic drink that the granddaughter tried. Everyone really enjoyed their food. We all sorta shared a couple of the dishes. For instance, I shared my Salem sushi roll with my son in law. My daughter shared her MoMos with me, my wife and the son in law and her chow mein with the granddaughter. My Salem roll was tasty as was the Poké bowl I ordered with tuna and salmon. Great idea and location in south Lincoln City. We will try this whenever we're in town. read more

Stopped on an early summer Saturday and it was busy but lots of availability for tables still. We decided to order from Smoked Out Sandwiches and Gyropoulos. We got a pesto grilled cheese panini which was ready about 15 minutes before our other order so we enjoyed it as an "appetizer". It hit the spot on a chilly day and I would definitely order it again. For what became our "main course", neither of us enjoyed anything we ordered from Gyropoulos. We did a hummus plate and a chicken shawarma gyro. Both were really odd. The hummus reminded me of chunky refried beans and lacked flavor in addition to being poorly textured. The gyro was ok, built more like a burrito, and also had a weird metallic smell and taste. We would not eat at that truck again. No tap or water bottle filling station which is a downside. You can only buy bottled water. Inside they've got a variety of canned sodas, cocktail options, flights (from beer to mimosas), and canned cocktails. read more

Awesome new Food Truck Village in Lincoln City. They've got some outdoor seating and a nice indoor dining hall with a bar and more seating. They have room for about a dozen trucks, although not all were open when we stopped by at lunchtime. The trucks inside offer a pretty good variety of dining options. Really love this place. We try to time our travels so we can hit it for lunch on the way to and from our weekends at the coast. Parking is on the street. Just check out the various food trucks, order your food (they usually give you a buzzer), and depending on the weather, grab a seat inside or out. Food is delicious. What a great find in the Taft district of Lincoln City (South Edge, off the 101, close to the Siletz bridge). Beer hall which also serves cocktail with about 12 or so food carts around it. Lots of choices! I had the Nepalese steamed Mo-Mo, and was extremely pleased with them. A big portion containing about 8 or 9 of them, filled with nicely spiced and aromatic meat and veggie mixture, wrapped in a thin layer of dough (like a Chinese steamed baozi). My son had the lamb shawarma and a piece of baklava from the Gyropoulos food truck. This was very good as well. The lamb was well spiced. I had a 16oz Rogue Honey Kolsch on draft from the Vin and Bräu (inside, the beer hub). We sat on one of the many tables inside the hub since it was a bit chilly outside. My food cart as well as my son's worked with getting a pager after ordering and then going ourself to pick it up. Fast and convenient, not having to wait around the cart itself. My only gripe is that it closes at 7pm, most food carts were closing and the bar too while we just finished up. Friday night, mid September, seems awfully early to me to close up shop. It is so great to see this kind of space being created in Lincoln city that is home to food carts and a large dinning hall and bar that makes for a much needed community gathering place. The interior is well lit, cozy yes spacious, with a full bar and plenty of tables. It would be a good potential music venue as well and I hope to see something of the sort in the future. As for the carts, they've got some good ones, with my favorites being Momo on the Wheels and Rook and Larder. Especially Rook and Larder, which is not your average food cart, oh no. They are making some of the best food on this stretch of the coast, just as good if not better than most of the higher priced sea food restaurants in the area. The food is creative, fresh, beautifully presented and most importantly delicious and generously portioned. Is it priced like a food cart? No. It is priced according to the food you are getting and it's some damn fine food. The crab sandwich is of mammoth proportions and the quality and quality of crab will not leave you wanting unlike so many other sea food restaurants that skimp on the crab and shrimp. Did I mention chef here is making his own bread? No? Well he is. So pay them a visit, bring a friend and get yourself one of these amazing sandwiches and clam chowder, it is more than worth it. read more
