New owners changed the game! As another review stated, this shop is now under new ownership, and they have righted the wrongs of the past ones. No longer is smoking allowed near the shop. Lots of different types of chocolates, truffles, Tillamook ice cream, Left Coast Coffee, hot food, and drinks. Definitely recommend if you have not been in lately stop back by. Wanted to grab a quick easy lunch near the beach so decided to try Snack Attack. The lady behind the counter prepared hot dogs with her bare hands. She was also preparing and packaging the fudge with her bare hands. I did not see her wash her hands and she was not wearing gloves or using tongs. Also, food was left out uncovered and no one behind the counter was wearing hairnets. The popcorn samples were stored in dirty Tupperware. We love going to local candy shops when we travel but this place seems so unsanitary! read more

Great little place to grab some Tillamook ice cream. I was taken aback at first at their prices - 3.50 for a single scoop of ice cream? We were on vacation so I said what the heck. The lady behind the counter was super friendly and let us have a few samples to decide on what we wanted and then she scooped our cones. The scoops made me feel much better about the price. Super bummed. We wanted to support a local coffee shop verse going to a corporate coffee shop. But the employee with long dark hair, heavier build had an attitude and was unprofessional and cranky upon walking in. I was just curious what kind of coffee bean was the drip coffee and she replied with a sly response "coffee" and just made us feel very unwelcome. We asked for more sweetener and she told us "we are not a Dutch bros" and she is right about that because employees at Dutch are much more professional, helpful and kind. We come to Lincoln City annually to visit family. Snack Attack has been recommended to us. Each time we have tried to eat at here, it's not open despite the online listed time and the front door both saying the shop opens at 11am. Last year we came by at 11am and waited an hour. Today we came at noon and waited 30 minutes. P We ate nearby and the employees were Happy to have us. They also confirmed that their business has increased due to the poor business strategies of the Shack Attack. Tip: correct your online hours or open on time. read more

While staying next door my husband and I visited two times. They made him tasty smoothies both times. I had a basic hot dog. They have ah-mazing caramel and cheese popcorn. We bought taffy here and were going to buy chocolate but were completely ignored and had multiple people cut in front of us because the young gal at the desk would not pay attention to us for some reason. I was half tempted to put the taffy back and take my business elsewhere. We ended up buying the taffy but not the chocolates. The taffy was just okay. Nice lady behind the counter! I went in looking for salt water taffy after not finding it at Mo's. Wonderful selection and the place smelled like fresh fudge! $6.99 a lb for salt water taffy and a selection of at least 20 different flavors was well worth it! I would've got some of that killer fudge but am headed back to Bend. If I had noticed this place taffy that would've been a different story. Love the little dhop. The store is small and friendly, and pets are welcome. It's near a great beach and is a great place to stop by. I guess it gets the job done but the ambiance is nothing to be desired nor is the variety.Nothing stands out and it is not very clean. We had the banana split which was edible but not great. The candy selection was not good. Maybe they should just focus on one thing instead of tons of sub par things.We will not come here again next time we pass through town. read more

I always get cheese popcorn on the coast and this place hands down has the best cheese popcorn!! try the fudge too.

It's a great store to get some snacks for the beach or for the trip back home. Popcorn is delicious and there are some good cold treats as well! We stopped in on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and the young lady working the cash register had an earphone in listening to something, not even caring about the customers. She mumbled our total and when I politely asked her to repeat it I got a major attitude and she went back to enjoying whatever she was listening to. Poor, poor, poor customer service! read more

Wow had the worst experience ever. I legit was hurt on how my two 6 year olds and I were treated. Very rude comments from the older lady (dark hair) that was behind the counter. Rushing my 6 year olds to pick etc. We were there with my entire family as well... they all were going to order but decided to walk out after my experience. I was unfortunate to be 1st in line. I almost set down my ice cream cones but decided to just pay and GET OUT. I even asked the lady "are you ok??".... that's how bad she was. I am pretty good about this type of stuff but this really was horrible. I will never return. Not only did she lose customers but she lost about 30-40 worth of other customers ordering and purchasing snacks etc. I also only do reviews when I have something good to say. This however warranted a bad review and my time to type out on phone. I hope if you decide to try this place out you do not have the same experience. HORRIBLE!!!! My family and I came to this little shop and had the worst experience ever. From the moment we arrived the two young girls were absolutely rude, and the first comment out of ones mouth was "Are you alllll ordering food?!?" with the ugliest look on her face. After she took all of our orders and gave us our wait time we sat outside and waited patiently. 20 minutes was the longest wait the girl estimated and after about 35 minutes the first plate still wasn't finished. The girl then began to tell us they were out of hot dog buns, fries, and tarter sauce. Of course all of us were absolutely starving by then. They then gave us the option of refunding our money or taking a bag of chips which were cheaper than the refund itself. During this long wait the girls were also very rude and made all of us feel very uncomfortable. Long story cut short after about a 45-50 min wait I decided to get my money back and go to the local Burger King. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS SHACK!!! read more

Tillamook ice cream cones at a touristy ice cream and candy shop. No atmosphere but the ice cream hit the spot.

I was at the coast the weekend of the kite festival with some friends and my 7 month old. We went to the kite shop next door and decided to go into this store for some candy. We had to walk through 2 people smoking in chairs right outside the door. This was not the 10 feet mandated by the ICAA, which prohibits smoking in the workplace and within 10 feet of all entrances, exits, accessibility ramps that lead to and from an entrance or exit, windows and air-intake vents. When I went into the store the smoke was so bad I could barely breathe. Since they were smoking maybe 1 foot from the entrance of the building it wafted in. When I complained to the cashier she informed me that both of the people smoking outside were the owners. I was going to get some ice cream but when the female owner came in from smoking I did not witness any hand washing and she went to the ice cream station to mix it around. That changed my mind completely. If they can not even follow a basic state law, how can I know they follow any food safety guidelines either. I will not be revisiting. I also noticed that looking at other reviews another people complained about the smoking at the entrance as well. Steer clear. read more

I drive a long way for this fudge and my favorite she doesn't make all the time.(Orange cycle) I call her (Debbie the owner) tell her a few days before I'm coming to Lincoln City she makes a batch. That is serious customer service. Retired Insurance Broker and I know what it takes to make people happy going that extra mile...just picked up my fudge and some other stuff for my next door neighbor. I have read a few reviews about the cost..little high... your on vacation your kids deserve a 3.50 ice cream, this is a tourist area. 4 to 5 months out of the year the ma and pa shops struggle .. growing up in Terrebonne Or, then moving my Family to Baker City, Or. I understand ma & pa shops, not to many left, so the next time when you go into a little store like the Snack Attack. Remember there not a chain of Wal-Mart's, just simple, caring, families that want to have a business and to be proud of.
