One of the best chocolate shops I have been too in so long! Not just the fudge, and taffy, but the service was amazing! The employees have been working their for years, were able to tell us all about the chocolates and we loved that if a chocolate didn't do well after 2 weeks then they didn't make it again. Everything that was out was their best sellers. The fudge we got were the milk chocolate (yum), orange creamsicle (really strong in flavor), coconut (delicious but also strong in coconut), maple pecan (best one to me, so so good). Staff were so kind! The chocolate you must get is their toffee covered in dark chocolate and crushed almonds, staff likened it to an almond roca. It is to die for! We also tried their creams and truffles. Their best truffle has to be the Bavarian cream or the caramel. read more

If I lived here, I would come on a weekly basis. Great variety of house made chocolate, taffy and fudge related treats. The staff working during my visit were extremely helpful, answering questions and making suggestions. We got a wide selection of stuff and it was all very well made with strong flavors, almost to a fault in some cases. The only complaints: 'cinnamon bun' truffle we got was actually 'cinnamon redhots' and some of the other items were almost overpowering. Most things were great though! The standout, by far, was the Vanilla Opera Cream- this was one of the best tasting candy/chocolatier items I can remember trying. I would like to eat a box of just that. Thanks again! read more

This place has the BEST Saltwater Taffy! The flavors are strong, the taffy is soft and it melts in your mouth. This is the first taffy I've tried that doesn't hurt my jaw or pull my crown and fillings out. It's really, really good! I drive over from Tigard just to pick up a bag of their taffy. Highly recommend!!! This is definitely a good place to go when you're craving a little something sweet. Awesome cereal marshmallow treat selection. They buy from elsewhere and have it shipped so the cereal has that softer texture but good flavor. The creams were good and the chocolates definitely decent. The fudge was the star by far. My husband ran in last weekend, wanting to try their fudge this time. Although not crazy about the chocolates we'd gotten previously, he really liked the fudge. He says the milk choc fudge was scrumptious. While he enjoyed the mint and dark fudges better than the chocolates, he couldn't get enough of the milk. We have passed this little shop SO many times! Now that we live in town we have the extra time to visit every place we've been wanting to! Lots of parking and very easy access. The shop itself was very clean. Everything was.organized nicely without feeling cluttered. Some prices seemed reasonable while.others felt a little high. Ultimately we decided to each pick out a truffle ( 3.50 each!) Every single one was marvelous. Like a decadent treat. Safe to say we will be back. Probably on a very special occasion. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze with more people, and the cash out area has two displays that are hard to see while cashing out, and you feel like you have to go fast with the line behind you. If it was a bit more open to view their display cases that would help. The peanut butter fudge, lemon truffle, and peanut butter truffle were really tasty and super soft. Less of that crust on top from sitting in open air than most fudge shops which is nice. Staff were friendly. read more

Went here recently on a visit to the Oregon Coast. Fun little shop to visit. Chocolate Sea foam was a 5/5 Peanut butter cup and turtles were a 4/5 Bavarian cream truffle was probably a 2/5 We went back a second time for more sea foam. It was delicious. The process of purchasing needs a bit of improvement as the line was long and slow moving and everyone could sense the stress from the single employee working. She did great and did her best, but process improvement could be beneficial to the customers. read more

I love their fudge: in the past, my three favorites have been lemon, maple, and milk chocolate there. I have been after them to make some vanilla bean fudge, since that has always (previously) been my favorite. This week they made some for me and, WOW! It is awesome. While visiting the area on vacation one of our group loves fudge and chocolate and saw this shop during earlier travels and decided to stop there at 10am on the way to visit the Yaquina Lighthouse. We didn't know that the shop didn't open until 11 and the owners were just getting to the store when we arrived. Upon seeing 6 of us they asked for 5 minutes and then opened the store. The store has all sorts of chocolates and other candies and we all found more than one thing that we liked and bought. Both owners and their son have a great sense of humor and jokes with us while we were there, including before making a purchase. If you live in Yachats you surely know about this place, but if you're visiting Yachats and like candy, including taffy and chocolate and more, this is a place all 6 of us highly recommend! read more

In all the years of coming to LC I've never stopped here until now and I'm SO glad I did. We were greater by the very friendly and wonderful owner and started our plunge into all things sugar. There were old fashioned candies, fudge, carmels, chocolates, the list goes on and on! They also have adorable trinkets and stickers. Everytime I'm in Lincoln City, I make a stop at the Chocolate frog. Fantastic selections of fudge, truffles, seafoam, chocolates, etc. They carry international chocolates, but I believe they make their own truffles & fudge. My favorite so far is the bourbon fudge. You really can't go wrong with any purchases made here. The truffles are a good size, very rich, melt in your mouth, bursting with flavors. I only wished they had the black walnut fudge :). The fudge. It's amazing. They get 5 stars from me based on the quality of the fudge alone. It's like butter--smooth and silky and melts in your mouth. All to often, fudge in candy stores has been sitting out for so long that it gets hard on the edges. Not here. It's SO fresh. You don't have to buy a whole slab like some places sell. Here they have already chosen a perfectly sized square for you. Big enough to share or eat alone bit by bit and not feel too too horrible about it. I got the milk chocolate and the peanut butter. Both flavors were amazing. Probably one of the best peanut butters I've ever had. Can't wait to come back.
