Parmesan deep fried mushrooms and mushroom burger.

When we first walked in I loved the atmosphere, it is like an old honkey tonk. We decided to go with a flight which was super reasonable, we got to try 8 beers for only $15. We really liked a lot of what we tried but the Steady As She Gose and the Golden Hour were definitely stand outs for us. As for food it is your general bar food but it was good. The deep fried mushrooms were crunchy on the outside but fresh on the inside. Our mushroom burger was huge and juicy the beer battered fries that came with it were also very good. Our waitress was super sweet and great to talk to.

This bar is absolutely adorable! The old vintage auto theme is so well done--full of nostalgic details and charming touches everywhere you look. We stopped in for their pretty sweet Bloody Mary bar, and that was definitely the highlight. The food and service were just okay, so I'm taking off two stars for the quality and attentiveness. However, the atmosphere alone makes this place worth a visit if you're looking for a fun, themed spot to grab a drink and relax.

Special tonight- 12/1 is New York steak with Brussels and prawns and b potato for $25 and all cooked perfectly!!!

Breakfast with Bloody Mary Bar! The menu includes all the basics along with a crab Benedict ordered by several in our group! The vegie omelet was stuffed with vegies and not much cheese so it felt like a healthy choice. The side of bacon was crispy and flavorful but the hash browns had an odd flavor and texture. Diners in our group of 6 liked the value and extra service of separate checks per guest.

We liked our experience and came back a couple more times. Service as good and so was the food. We have our other favorite places we go to, but this place is not bad.

Cool decor, nice workers, good beer. Nice selection of food although I was just having the beer today. Great beer.

    PRIME RIB was EXCELLENT!

We've been to Rusty Truck a couple times and have always had a great experience! The first time we visited, we had fish and chips and a burger. Love the atmosphere and they have a GREAY Bloody Mary setup!

This is the BBQ pork burger with coleslaw. Tasty and fair sized. I'd buy it again.

Stopped in at Rusty Truck Brewing about a month ago for a friend's birthday. It was a Saturday and during a Duck game. Place seemed relatively busy, but they are big enough to have had plenty of seating. My wife and I joined a group of 4 friends. They had already started with appetizers and some drinks. I got a Pepsi and my wife got a Strawberry ale of some kind that came in a mason jar drinking glass. My Pepsi was fine, but the strawberry ale was not good. I don't drink alcohol, but my wife only had 1/3 of it and apologized that she didn't drink it. Her best friend, whose birthday it was, also had one. Neither finished it. It didn't taste like strawberry or honey as the description said. They both said it was very bitter. They got a Dr. Pepper with Captain Morgan after that and both said that was very good. For food, my wife got the fish and chips. It was a decent portion size and she wasn't able to finish it. She said it was good, though. I tried a unique item (at least to me) -- a burger with bbq pulled pork, coleslaw, and an onion ring. I've had burgers and I've had pulled pork sandwiches, but never together. I was skeptical, but it actually works. It ends up being a pretty big bite. It got a bit messy to eat thanks to the coleslaw. However, it was very tasty. I'm surprised it actually works together. The fries were seasoned well and the portion size is very fair for the price. I would totally try one of these again if I had the opportunity. Overall, it is a sports bar. It isn't as brightly lit as a Buffalo Wild Wings; it is more like a standard bar in design and atmosphere, but they have a bunch of TVs, so I'll say it is a sports bar. The drinks are hit and miss, but the food was pretty good. We had a good time and ordering and paying was quick and easy. I would go back again and get the same burger/bbq pulled pork sandwich. It was good enough to get again and give a different round of drinks another try for my wife and her friends.

Great place to sit outside with our doggos. They brought us water & pup treats. It was chilly, so she turned on the gas firepit at our table. Hubs was thrilled to have 2 beers to choose from that he was excited about (a brown & an amber). The fries were incredible. We'll likely return tomorrow while we're in town & want to try the fries with beer cheese sauce.

Food and service are better in the summer time. By late September it was not nearly as good. The beer is always high quality though.

While there aren't a huge number of dining options in town, we never felt like we were settling. In fact, we looked forward to coming back each time. If you're a beer lover, you'll be in heaven. Their selection is extensive, with everything from crisp pilsners to rich stouts, making it easy to find something that suits your taste. The location is simply unbeatable. Nearly every table offers a view of the Pacific Ocean, and if you're lucky enough to grab a seat on the patio (my favorite spot), you're practically sitting on the beach. Watching the waves roll in while enjoying a meal is hard to top. Despite being incredibly busy, every server we had was friendly, attentive, and worked incredibly hard. The only minor downside was that the restaurant appeared to be a little understaffed. There were times when empty tables were visible, yet the wait was still 20-30 minutes. Honestly, though, we didn't mind. Any excuse to sit outside, people-watch, or simply stare out at the ocean is time well spent. The food was consistently excellent throughout our visits. We sampled the clam chowder, fish and chips, Backyard BBQ burger, cheeseburger, oyster shooters (both the Mignonette and Spicy Mary), and the cheese curds. My favorites were easily the clam chowder and the fish and chips--both were outstanding and exactly what you hope for when dining on the Oregon Coast. Even if beer isn't your thing, the cocktail menu is worth exploring. I ordered the Tsunami Warning, a refreshing blend of rum, pineapple and lime juices, ginger beer, and Pelican's Tsunami Stout. It's definitely a unique cocktail that won't be for everyone, but I'm glad I gave it a try. My biggest regret? Never saving room for dessert. Every time I saw one pass by our table, it looked incredible, but I was always too full to order one. That's just one more reason to come back. If you're visiting Pacific City, I highly recommend stopping by the original Pelican Brewing Company. Between the incredible oceanfront setting, excellent food and drinks, and welcoming service, it's a place that's easy to return to again and again.

Came to pick up our expensive "to go" order. Could not find a parking spot anywhere. They have a…read morepick up window but it is not open. So we had to go in. There is no dedicated parking for pick up orders. The order was more than what is on the "take out" menu from their website. When I asked about the price increase she said it was a "surcharge." (Had a bit of attitude when I asked about it as well. I just paid it cause I didn't want to argue when there was a line of people.) There is NO MENTION of a take out "surcharge" and it shows up on the receipt as "tax." There is no state tax in Oregon or a city tax in Pacific City. The food was not a good value for the money. Lettuce wrapped burger was wrapped with brown lettuce. The coleslaw was like mayo soup. I will say the fish in the fish and chips were good and the ranch was good but that was it. There is a lot of room for improvement. Starting in the parking lot!
