Blueberry Bloom Titos, lemonade and fresh made blueberry syrup
Jill K.

We stopped in for a drink before a concert (Tears for Fears- go ahead and laugh, but I've loved them since the '80's and drove all the way from Michigan to see them lol). This place has fun curb appeal and friendly waitstaff. They sell drinks to go, so they are perfect for say...a Tears for Fears concert drink sneak-in? Anyway, when they found out about the concert they made me a double to-go (which is cheaper than buying inside the venue) and put Tears for Fears on the Playlist and we all jammed. Then, we learned from the locals that the pizza is so good, it's still worth it if you have a gluten intolerance, so order a pizza we did. We ordered the owners special: pepperoni, sausage and bell pepper and omg, incredible!! So fun at this place, and I'm very glad we ventured in!!

Large Pepperoni

Nice little pizza joint with a cute patio and bar area! Pizza came out within 25 minutes and server was friendly. Quality ingredients, sauce is bright but not sweet and cup and char pepperoni was crispy.

Ignite the lights Christmas ale with the sugar spice rim is excellent. When you are here try their special seasoning on your pizza. Just the right amount of spice and spicy. Their garlic buttery breadsticks with marinara and ranch dipping sauce is definitely great to start.

Medium pizza with veggies. Sauce was yummy. Cheese is great, good stretch.

Great pizza and dough. Very generous with the toppings. Have gotten pizza here several times and it's always good.

But after it sits, it looses some of the crisp in the grease as the pizza naturally rests.

Toppings are fresh and flavorful. Lots of things to choose from. Takes about 10 minutes to get your order. Breakfast menu looks good. Can't wait to try it. Opens at 8am. I walked in, saw the sign that said to order at the register, so I did exactly that... and then stood there for about five minutes looking like I was waiting for someone to tell me I was in the right place. Nobody said hello, nobody acknowledged me, nothing. I honestly started wondering if I had missed a step. And I'm not exaggerating when I say five minutes. I stood there waiting to be acknowledged before anyone came over. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like when someone walks into a business, a simple, "Hi! We'll be right with you," goes a long way. I work in hospitality, so that's just something I naturally notice and appreciate. The funny part? As other people came in, I noticed they were greeted, so I couldn't help but wonder... was it just me? Oh well. Now, credit where it's due ....the food was actually really good! I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, and banana pepper pizza with a small drink, and my total was about $21. The pizza was a great size, and I really enjoyed it. I honestly would have given you guys 5 stars because the food deserves it. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the lack of acknowledgment when I first walked in. A simple hello or "We'll be right with you" really does make a difference. Other than that, I'd definitely come back for the pizza. Hopefully next time I'll get the greeting too.

I just had the absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced at a restaurant…read more To begin the journey, I called to place a pickup order which consisted of two pizzas and two calzones. It took at least six times for me to state my order, and the gentleman I was speaking with to repeat it back to me incorrectly before we both felt comfortable that he had the details right. He was an older fellow so I tried to be patient and told him that order accuracy is everything so I was ok spending the extra time to make sure the order was right. Once I arrived and my order was ready, we realized that one of the pizzas had the wrong toppings. At first I told them just to refund that part of the order because by the time they remade that one and I got everything home, the stuff that was right wouldn't be good after sitting in the boxes for so long. They insisted that they could remake the pizza in 8 minutes and that everything was would be fine if they left the rest of the order on top of the ovens. I repeated at least twice that I would prefer the partial refund, but they continued to insist so I grudgingly agreed. Once that one was done, they showed it to me and mentioned they added extra cheese. I was handed four boxes which allegedly contained my original order. They also told me they added an extra calzone and a slice of cheesecake in an attempt to make up for their error. Fast forward to the house and when I opened the boxes, I found not only the pizza that they remade, but also a duplicate of that pizza instead of one of the calzones I ordered and the "bonus" calzone looked like it had been sitting on the counter for the last 12 hours. To top it off, as I expected the two items from the original order that actually were correct were ice cold by that point. I will never, ever do business with these people again. It's a shame, because the food is decent when they get it right. It's simply just not worth the hassle. I was wrong about giving the benefit of the doubt to the older gentleman. I arrived early and had a good 15 minutes to see how he interacted with both the employees and other customers. Someone needs to tell him he should step away from the front lines.

The food I ordered the anchovy margherita pizza and it was a solid 9.5/10. Easily one of the closest pizzas I've had in the U.S. to the authentic Roman-style pizzas I remember. The only minor criticism -- and honestly not really their fault -- was that the anchovies tasted slightly canned, giving a bit more fishiness than the fresh anchovies commonly used in Italy. The service One of the owners, Annie, felt like the Italian nonna welcoming you into her home. Warm, thoughtful, conversational and constantly making sure everyone was taken care of. That hospitality elevated the entire experience. The atmosphere The restaurant is smaller and lively, so it can get pretty loud, especially on a Saturday night. The music was a tad louder than I personally prefer, but I also think it helps balance out the constant buzz of conversation happening at every table. The wait My friend and I arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday and the wait was about an hour and a half -- which is wild for a pizza place, but also says everything about how popular it is. Worth it? If you're craving authentic Italian pizza, absolutely. Overall The food alone makes the noise and wait worthwhile, and the hospitality makes you want to come back. I'd absolutely return the next time I'm in Cleveland.
