Trace's. favorite pizza with banana peppers, pepperoni and cupped pepperoni is the only way to go. It's really fantastic and I can't say enough about it. Excellent service and a great selection of drafts. I can't go out for pizza very often for health reasons, but if I do, the only place I would go is Trace's. It's a pepperoni pizza with banana peppers, but there are some pepperoni slices that are on top and they're singed a little bit (very lightly) and crisped up. I wish I can go more often. But it's the only place I would go in the area. Of course, it goes very well with draft of Truth! read more

Stopped in here before seeing a concert at Blossom for an early dinner. We had a pizza, the caprese salad and chips & dip. All was delicious! Our server was very kind and we were able to get our food very quickly. There were quite a few kids there, but there is a section by the bar with high top tables that feel a little separated from the main dining room. read more

Pizzeria style place. Salads were heaping with cheese, pizza we got was the "perfect" pizza. Crust is really good, not too doughy and not cracker crisp. Service at the bar was excellent. It gets busy on Fri/Sat nights so plan ahead. read more

We stopped in for a drink before a concert (Tears for Fears- go ahead and laugh, but I've loved them since the '80's and drove all the way from Michigan to see them lol). This place has fun curb appeal and friendly waitstaff. They sell drinks to go, so they are perfect for say...a Tears for Fears concert drink sneak-in? Anyway, when they found out about the concert they made me a double to-go (which is cheaper than buying inside the venue) and put Tears for Fears on the Playlist and we all jammed. Then, we learned from the locals that the pizza is so good, it's still worth it if you have a gluten intolerance, so order a pizza we did. We ordered the owners special: pepperoni, sausage and bell pepper and omg, incredible!! So fun at this place, and I'm very glad we ventured in!! read more

Stopped in for a pizza to take home to watch a football game. The scene on the patio, with live music, was really nice. Same with the bar area as well. Unfortunately the pizza was really meh - bland sauce, doughy crust. Tough sell for take out when Ken's is next door. I'll definitely come back for the bar / patio scene and the music though. read more

to be honest, i wasn't looking forward to eating here. a coworker insisted on it then bailed on our group. we all looked at the pictures on Yelp! and thought they looked unappealing. i'm relieved and delighted to admit that the pizza here was incredible. right now, i'm declaring it top 5 favorite local pizzas. i had a medium pizza w/ cup and char pepperoni and mushrooms. just unbelievably delicious. the sauce was good, the pepperoni was perfectly cooked (since it wasn't under a blanket of cheese). all washed down w/ a Kona Big Wave Golden Ale or 3. after our initial dismissal, i can only hope we make it back at some point. read more

Nice place with good food and live music. My girlfriend suggested we try it out - we wanted to go somewhere with live music. The music was really nice and not too loud, so we could actually talk too. The pizza we got was delicious and beer refreshing. The menu is limited but if you're in the mood for pizza and a beer this is a good spot. Nice range of toppings and sizes. We had zero leftovers. Service was good and attentive, and helpful. We did have to hunt down someone to figure out if we seat ourselves. Way-finding is your friend if you run a restaurant - let guests know what to expect. That atmosphere is okay. The lighting could be a little less bright and a little less all in the ceiling, invest in some pendants and make the various parts of the bar a bit more moody so date night doesn't feel like a cafeteria. The decor is nice but needs just a little more oomph...all of this is fixable. First thing you see when you walk in is the open bathroom (which looked nice enough I suppose). The bar area looked ok but nothing overly run or unique going on. Maybe it's the area - they all do "good enough" but not truly memorable/attention to detail interiors. Also would love to change out the Girl Scout cookie display for something less wire rack like. Go big or go home and create a meaningful display for cookies. Details matter (in my opinion) and don't have to cost a lot. Also take down the empty beer bottles, it gives off frat house vibes and what if they fall off and hurt someone... I would go back and I would recommend it. Just wish I could get my hands on the interior decorator and rework a few things to really amp up the experience. Overall you're gonna like it and wanna go back. Keep up the good work and thank you for being a part of our community! read more

My experience here was so wild that originally I did not want to leave a review. After reading some of the other reviews, I feel like I need to be 100% honest, because dang. What a disappointment. My hubs and I walked in at around 9pm on a Saturday night. Plenty of people were still inside eating. We wanted to sit at the bar, he wanted drinks and I wanted to try the pie! We walked in, right past at least 4 employees, and a gentleman said to sit wherever. We chose the bar where two other gentlemen were already sitting. No one said ANYTHING to us after that. Like, awkwardly so. The guy stood at the end of the bar drinking, talking to two other female employees, ALL of whom kept looking at us but they never said anything. For 10 minutes this went on. At one point, a woman was stacking cups directly in front of us, asked us how we were doing, and straight up walked away. L O L what? NO ONE ever gave us menus or the time of day. No one asked if we wanted drinks. No one said, "Hey, I'll be right with you", nothing. They just stared at us, while they were drinking, from the end of the bar. What the heck is that? If they were upset that we showed up at 9pm when they close at 10pm - then don't be open until 10pm? I know this place is a recent opening but dang, this was legitimately awful and awkward and just plain WEIRD. 0/10 do not recommend read more

Ignite the lights Christmas ale with the sugar spice rim is excellent. When you are here try their special seasoning on your pizza. Just the right amount of spice and spicy. Their garlic buttery breadsticks with marinara and ranch dipping sauce is definitely great to start. read more

A great pizza here. We always get straight up half pepperoni and half sausage to try the bare bones of a pizza for the first time. Great dough/crust a nice crisp with a nice chew to it. The house salad was excellent. Balsamic was tasty. Wish the pizza would come out with something to raise up off the parchment paper. But after it sits, it looses some of the crisp in the grease as the pizza naturally rests. Like cookies on a baking rack. It's the extra step to keep the product peak. Maybe serving pans with dimples to raise it up to keep that crust a little crisp. I've seen them at other places. That's my only minor knock. I'm a pizza connoisseur. I really like this pizza and was very happy with it. The sauce had great flavor. The cheese was fresh shredded and really good. My actual rating is 4.5 stars. I would go 5 stars if that crust stayed crispy. Just my personal well educated pizza opinion. But I'll make it 5 stars because that is knit picky. Just trying to help it go from home to grand slam. We desperately wanted to like this place as there is very little food in the area. We also noticed how crowded it was the first few weeks it opened so clearly others felt the same way as us. We stopped in on a friday night around 9 and there was 2 other couples there and that's it. We sat at the bar and the bartender had our back to us while texting. There were at least 4 other employees sitting there (apparently not much to do). No one welcomed us or even acknowledged us. After about 2 minutes waiting the bartender finally acknowledged us and served us drinks. We also found out one of the people sitting there was the owner. Really? You can't even say 'hi there, welcome to our place'? Better yet, say 'the bartender will be right with you'. This place literally has two menu items: pizza and 1 salad. We ordered a sausage pizza, pretty basic. The pizza itself was okay at best. It didn't have any good flavors, the sauce was bland and the crust was just okay. I equated it to a pizza kit you make at home. It really wasn't good. We also found out from chatting with the owners that this is a side business for them as they both have other businesses they run. Additionally, hearing from others people had to wait 1 hour + just to get their food in the first few weeks. Some of that I understand as that's growing pains. But based on the fact that it took 2+ years to open, they're only open 4-10, don't take carry out orders and that they have 2 menu items, it seems this is more of a 'fun' thing to do than to try and actually provide even decent quality food to the community. They don't want to put in the effort and time to make this a go to place; instead it seems they'll make a little dough, serve some pizzas and call it good. Sadly we likely won't return... read more

We were so excited that a new place opened nearby. There are not a lot of dining options and I love pizza and beer! In a word, this place is S-L-O-W. Not just the food, but the service, too. We placed our order for bread sticks, 3 small and one medium pizza and then we waited. And waited. Our server seemed indifferent as our empty water glasses sat there next to our empty bread plates. Getting a second beer was an effort to get her attention. My wife commented to an incoming couple that she hoped they were not too hungry because they'd have to wait. Only after this did the manager or (owner?) ask if anything was wrong, but not to help us. Oh no, he wanted to know if we were telling others not to be seated. WTF? If that was my place, I would have done anything I could to make it right. Free desserts? Another round of bread sticks to hold us over? Nope. After this, there was another 20 minutes before our pizzas were delivered--a full 60 minutes since placing our orders. The pizza was nothing special. I have made better in my kitchen. Oh, and our server never asked how we liked it or if we needed anything else. Really? My advice: Don't waste your time. read more

Decided to try this out on a Saturday night since it is local. Place looks nice and everything is like new. Service wasn't bad, pizza was so so. They use pre-made pizza crusts and just add cheese and toppings and put them in the over from the looks of it. They were out of the large pizzas so the waiter said they would give us 2 mediums for the price of the large. Sounded great so we ordered 4 mediums. When the bill came they overcharged us for the pizzas. The toppings are all a la carte and they charged for the toppings on all 4 pizzas separately. We asked about it and the lady said she gave us a $20 "discount" on the pizzas. Maybe so, but we were still overcharged based on what the waiter told us when we placed the order. We gave him a good tip anyway since the beer was good and it wasn't really his fault. Not sure if I will be back though. read more

We took a few Cross County runners for dinner before their big race tomorrow. HUGE mistake!!! It took over an hour for the pizza to come. Our server was awful. I had to ask other servers for more waters and had to hound our server for another beer for my husband. We saw a couple we knew who said they were hungry, and I jokingly said that they would be waiting awhile. The manager/owner came over and accused me of telling them to not take a seat. I never said that. What he should have said is, "I am so sorry your food is taking so long. Let me get you another order of bread sticks to tied you over and I appreciate your patience." We never got any of that. He said they were doing their best. I can assure you, we will NEVER be back. If the service were better and I wasn't treated with such disrespect, I would have given them another chance. We desperately wanted to support a local restaurant. read more
