The reviews for this place are excellent and so I decided to take my Tacoma to them to get some work done. The truck is fairly old so, among several other things, they quoted new shocks and strut assemblies. After getting the truck back and driving a few days back and forth to work I noticed that it always had a pronounced lean where the passenger side of the vehicle was riding several inches higher than the driver's side. After calling to confirm, Phil stated that they had done an alignment and had even verified the ride height/level. The truck was definitely leaning though so something was not right, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they showed me the issue. Fort Worth Auto Garage had installed the wrong shock and strut assemblies on one side of the vehicle. I don't believe Fort Worth Auto Garage actually did an alignment or a ride height check, because it surely would have been noticed that the incorrect parts had been installed on one side of the truck. That being said, once I confronted Phil with this information he did agree to install the correct parts so eventually it was fixed. Fort Worth Auto Garage do have reasonable prices, however they seem to be a bit sloppy with their work and they do not seem to pay close attention to details, such as part numbers. read more

I was able to get the car to them the next day and within 2 days they had it fixed and it ended up being less than the amount he originally quoted. The customer service was unmatched, the pricing was reasonable, and the time frame was highly commendable. This auto shop is a bit farther than I want from me but you can bet your butt I am going to make sure the next time I need service I come to them. I took my car to Midas yesterday because that's where my battery was under warranty and they told me my alternator was bad. Gave me a quote for just the alternator for $1100. Mechanic Saviors! Best mechanics in Dallas/Fort Worth. In July 2023, someone tried to steal my vehicle. I tried to have serviced at a dealership, being told that was the only place capable of fixing the issue. Needless to say, I had continuous problems up til last week that depleted my savings and almost left me homeless. Long story short, I found Ben and Phil. They not only located the real issue, they are professional, straight forward, and unwilling to compromise their integrity and reputation just to make an extra buck. As a women, who is ignorant to the field of mechanics; I was terrified after being lied to so many times about what was wrong with my car. I took my car to these guys for the first time last July (2021) when my A/C bought the farm. They had to replace the condenser, compressor, and evaporator expansion valve. Everything was great. Then my A/C stopped cooling about 6 weeks again. I took it back to them this past Monday. The compressor had gone bad. I went in, no appointment, to scan a sudden ABS light that came on 100mi away on the highway the day prior. On my way into this shop my front passenger side wheel dislodged due to a completely shedded bearing. I limped it into this shop and Ben was able to accommodate me on the spot. I don't understand the negative reviews. The transmission went out on my van and I had estimates of $3,500 to repair. Working with Ben, I got a warantied used transmission and had it installed $1,500 out the door. It lasted me the next 3 years until I got rid of the van. Great place to have your car worked on. Ben was friendly and informative and took care of my 2004 Monte Carlo. I dropped it off late Saturday and it was finished by Wednesday. Maintenance items were fixed quickly and correctly: New plugs/wires, all engine mounts, wiper reservoir screw, front tie rods and wheel bearings, and a fuel line connector. He let me know the tires needed to be replaced and once that was done it now rides glassy smooth. I have found my new mechanic for Fort Worth.
