    The Falafel Boy salad bowl
    Poonam S.

Got the falafel boy with salad bowl $9 with extra falafel combo for $3 extra. Made the meal $13 with tax. The taste of the falafel balls are great! I think they bake the balls - no oil. That was excellent! Although, I was expecting a spring mix in the salad, not lettuce. I wish that was better explained. But the tahini sauce & hummus was great! One star off bc of the generic lettuce & the high cost for the portion size.

We stopped by 2941 Street Food in Royal Oak and ordered a mini Honest Bowl since we were short on time. I went with basmati rice, zaatar steak, fresh cucumber, signature hummus, lemon vinaigrette, and sunflower seeds -- and it all came together beautifully. The steak was seasoned well, the hummus added creaminess, and the lemon vinaigrette brought a fresh brightness that tied everything together. Even as a mini bowl, it was filling. They also have their ingredients and allergy information posted in-store, which I really appreciate. It makes navigating gluten-free options easier. My bowl ingredients are generally gluten-free, but if you're highly sensitive or have celiac, it's always smart to double-check with staff about marinades or dressings. The space isn't dedicated gluten-free, but having the information visible is a big plus. The restaurant was clean, calm, and welcoming. Staff was polite, friendly, and professional -- which made the whole experience feel smooth and easy. I'd absolutely recommend it for a fresh, balanced, customizable lunch in Royal Oak.

They serve the meat right out of the Dutch oven. Hot, tender & in my opinion seasoned perfectly! You can choose from different size bowls. I love the variety of toppings you can choose from. The pickled veggies are my fave and the spicy hummus. There is something for everyone here. The service was quick and the staff were incredibly helpful. I even got to try a sample to help make my decision on what to pick. We dined in. The restaurant was clean. We got free refills on drinks. They have a good variety of flavored tea and pop. 10/10 I will absolutely go again.
