However, I am not a big fan of some of the gym machines as some aren't very comfortable to use. For example, the excess amount of Hoist machines could possibly be replaced by other machines from other companies. In other gyms I have visited, the other machines from companies like Life Fitness have been a favorite for me and at times I see myself going to these gyms to get a workout that is more appealing for me. Another thing I have noticed is that some of the cardio machines almost never see use and could possibly be replaced by other machines. This is an amazing gym overall but it could definitely see some improvement. From other people I have spoken to they all noticed the big price increases on memberships and guest passes, and I think it would be fitting to see some equipment upgrades to go along with the increased prices.

I've also heard similar feedback from other members. With membership prices increasing, I think investing in newer equipment would add a lot of value. Machines such as a pullover machine, pin-loaded preacher curl, supine press, and a pin-loaded chest-supported row would be excellent additions and would give members more effective training options. I really enjoy this gym and hope it continues improving. Upgrading some of the older Hoist machines to Hammer Strength or Life Fitness equipment would make an already great gym even better.

Unfortantely, I had to stop going and processed a cancellation of my membership. Some how the process never finished and I was getting charged. I was able to get help from the location manager (Lou) and she was really understanding and respectful. She was able to get the situation resolved pretty quickly and I remembered why I fell in love with the place. I don't know what values these tennis coaches have here, but I'll say this.. poor customer service doesn't get very far. My ultimate goal was just to get my 4 yo and soon to be 5 yo to just make friends and get to know the sport that I love very much. I suggest all parents to go to Euro Tennis. A lot of the ladies were chatting, and it reminded me of a middle school locker room. The MixxedFit class itself, though, was amazing. With the number of people who use this facility every day, this is a serious health and safety concern, especially during the summer. In addition to the lack of air conditioning, the water fountains are frequently out of service, the bathrooms are unsanitary, and the overall cleanliness of the facility has noticeably declined. It feels like this location is simply a cash cow for Bay Club's corporate office. They continue to raise membership prices every year while neglecting maintenance, cleanliness, and customer service. This location sees far more traffic than many of their other clubs, yet it receives far less attention. If you're considering joining as a new member, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Until Bay Club invests in properly maintaining this facility and providing the level of service members are paying for, it's simply not worth the cost. Many of the members at this location are from diverse ethnic backgrounds, and it's deeply frustrating to see this club receive far less attention than locations like Pleasanton or Walnut Creek. Intentional as it seems the disparity in maintenance and investment is hard to ignore, and members at this location deserve the same safe, clean, and well-maintained facility as every other Bay Club member. I will also be contacting the Alameda County Department of Environmental Health to report these ongoing health and sanitation concerns.

Unfortunately, the experience was the exact opposite. The instructor was shockingly rude from the start, and at one point even kicked my son's leg while "correcting" his posture. This is completely unacceptable behavior toward any student, let alone a beginner attending his first class. No child should ever be subjected to physical aggression or humiliation in a learning environment. My son left the class upset and is now unwilling to return, which tells you everything about how damaging the interaction was. As a parent, I'm deeply disappointed and concerned that this kind of conduct is allowed to happen under their program. I strongly urge management to address this issue immediately and ensure instructors are trained to work with children respectfully and safely. Until then, I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

I've been bringing my son here since he could walk he started in the Little Kickers program and now, at age nine, plays in the soccer team division. We absolutely love indoor soccer, and this facility makes it such a great experience for families. The kids always have a blast, the field is consistently clean and safe, and the entire place has such a welcoming atmosphere. The owner, Chris, deserves special recognition. He's incredibly calm, patient, and professional even when parents get heated during games, coming up to him in his office raising their voices, he never raises his voice or loses his composure. You can tell he genuinely cares about the families and players who come here. This is a family-run establishment and the only indoor soccer facility in the area, which makes it such a valuable part of our community.
