When we arrived at the store and were informed they had no way to make any of their sides or deep dish, saying that they were out of the dough used to make it. This basically translated into that they couldn't make half the items on their menu. We ended up ordering a pizza and didn't wait terribly long for them to make it. Sadly, that is more bad news than good. The pizza was awful- undercooked, over spiced and tasted like the Red Barron pizza you get in school cafeterias. I am hoping that this experience is just a rare occurrence and will try again perhaps next time I come to visit my mother.

It came out pretty quick, but like I said, I was the only one there. It was over $16 and frankly rather small. The sauce was very acidic and mostly tasted of tomato paste and the mushrooms were canned and mushy. There were lots of peppers and onions, but other than that the toppings were pretty light. The crust was pretty dense but fully cooked. Not a lot of options in Van. Milano's is a decent choice but isn't breaking any ground.
