The sauce was very acidic and mostly tasted of tomato paste and the mushrooms were canned and mushy. There were lots of peppers and onions, but other than that the toppings were pretty light. The crust was pretty dense but fully cooked. Not a lot of options in Van. Milano's is a decent choice but isn't breaking any ground.

I requested a refill for the Buffalo Ranch Fries and was refused, being told the bucket could only be used for refills on the regular fries, the Cajun snd and the Parmesan garlic, not the Buffalo, not the bacon cheese fries, etc. I asked why and was given an unlikely reasoning that it could meant the bucket, despite the bucket seems fine to handle the initial order. What is more, I pointed out that they do not advertise anywhere that the refills on buckets for specialty fries do not include all varieties of the specialty fries do that people wanting those excluded refill varieties know to simply pay fir a traditional order and not up-pay for the benefit of s refillable bucket for which they cannot receive the benefit on the same kind of fries. I do think if you avoid the refill bucket you will enjoy the food, which I'd rate a solid 4. Buy until they start to advertise truthfully, I rate a three based on a reduction for customer experience.

The restaurant is spacious, charming, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. I especially loved hearing the history behind this special place. It's been family-owned for nearly 50 years, with their 50th anniversary coming up at the end of August! What makes it even more special is seeing the children continue their parents' legacy and keep the family business going after all these years. That kind of history, love, and dedication is truly incredible. Great pizza, wonderful service, and an amazing family story--definitely a place worth visiting!
