Their website states that substitutions will be of equal or higher value and that the overall theme and integrity of the arrangement will remain intact. The arrangement I purchased did not fulfill this promise. For example, in the website picture of the arrangement, there are 8-9 roses. In the delivered arrangement there are 3. Multiple other details are missing and the final product was a sad downgrade to the original. I don't take giving poor reviews lightly as I know this is someone's livelihood. I wrote the owner to express my dissatisfaction and was basically dismissed. I am posting the website arrangement and the delivered product. Buyer beware.

To my surprise, I actually received a call back from a very kind lady who took my information and spoke to me about what I wanted. She asked me to call the shop the next morning which I did and spoke to another kind and helpful lady. I was traveling from FL to attend the funeral and felt comfortable giving a budget price then asking them to use their judgement in creating something nice for me. When I arrived at the funeral, our flowers were the centerpiece of the guest table. They were absolutely gorgeous and far exceeded my expectations. When you move from a 990 square foot house to a 2100 square foot house, you need a lot of new…read morefurniture. To fill all of this extra space, it was a no-brainer for me to come back to NFHF. Especially now, since I had moved to the Alton area, it was a logical choice. I'll be honest, I did shop some of the local chains, but they could not match the quality and prices I found here at NFHF. When I moved to Godfrey, I gained a great room, formal dining room, breakfast nook and a second bedroom. So you can see why I needed lots of furniture. The entire staff knew me by the time I was done with all my selections. I'd get dimensions and go home to measure, making sure it would fit. Then I'd take pictures to text to friends and family, to help when I could not decide between two items. All the staff was so patient and helpful with me. Here's a breakdown on what I purchased: Dinning Room - A bar cabinet and Sideboard Great Room - Sofa, Coffee Table and Comfy Chair Breakfast Nook - Drop-leaf Table and Two Chairs My Bedroom - Nightstand to Match my Bedroom Set I bought 10 years ago. Second Bedroom - Wood & Iron Bed-frame - Queen Size Front Porch - Unfinished Chair to paint orange Having a larger bedroom in the master suite, I was excited to see that they still offered the same set that I purchased 10 years ago. I was able to finally purchase the nightstand. It was a wise move to select a traditional style that stays in fashion in home furnishings. All my guest who have visited my new home, love my new Bar Cabinet. They all comment how unique and different it is from the regular bars you see at other major retailers. What has blown most of my guest away the most is the upholstered items I purchased. My friends and family from the Alton area had no idea, that NFHF had upholstered items, they just knew them for their quality wood furniture. One of them has gone in and purchased a sofa for themselves. My personal favorite items that I purchased are the drop-leaf table and chairs for the breakfast nook and the chair I bought for the front porch. I love relaxing in my breakfast nook and the orange chair on the front porch, is a great eye-catcher for people to find my new home. If you are in need of quality solid wood furniture or some upholstered items, I recommend checking this place out. New Frontier Home Furnishings has made my new house a home.

I had two beloved rugs that had been stored and when I unrolled them, I saw evidence of a bad moth…read moreinfestation. I came here the next day and had them look at the damage. They suggested cutting off the damaged edges and then rebinding them. I ended up taking all my rugs here, a couple were antique and all were from when we lived in the Middle East. Most were rolled up and stored, some were hanging up. The newly repaired and bound rug looked fabulous! Although it was smaller, and the beautiful border was now gone, it was still very attractive and the bound edge looked professionally done. I got all of them moth-proofed and asked to purchase rug padding for the ones that I was going to put back down on the floor. I also asked for all of the rugs to be appraised as there's a certified appraiser on site. It took longer than I anticipated for everything to get done and in the end, the rug padding never happened and the appraisals were disappointing. Most all of the rugs were purchased 30 years ago, and we were told their provence then, but the appraiser said the rugs were fairly modern. Oh, well. The cleaning service was affordable so we will return here to get our rugs cleaned.
