We booked a reservation at a home in Scottsdale, AZ through Vrbo and we have had a horrible experience. The house was dirty and not in good condition. We have been in connect with the company multiple times over the past few days since we arrived and have been highly displeased with the staff in responding to our requests in a timely manner. The hot tub that was listed as an amenity does not work and no one has come to fix the hot tub. The capacity for the house is 16 people but there was not enough dishes, cups, silverware, sheets, towels for 10 people. The requests were not accommodated for after 24 hours. We have tried communicating with Leslie but she has not addressed our needs. The layout of the rooms is very poor as well. read more

A group of 16 friends and I rented this property for the WMO and Superbowl Viewing Party. Found the property on Vrbo, but is run by Platinum Rental/Just Stay service. Our Platinum Concierge was Sarah Fye. She was amazing in all facets of our trip. Prior to the weekend stay, Sarah reached out frequently to make sure everything was in order. From booking tee times, brokering car services, and taking groceries orders priority to move in, Sarah was always available to help. Which made planning a trip for 16 people a less stressful ordeal. When my first car service cancelled on my 2 weeks before WMO, Sarah help find a new car service, even offering an option of having an employee of Platinum to drive my group if I was unable to find a replacement. Renting properties for a short weekend duration are never without their issues. But I do recommend Platinum Rentals, especially with someone like Sarah. If and when things go wrong, have someone available at the touch of a button makes your experience that much better. read more

I just stayed at the Eagles Nest by Just Stay and the platinum Rental Experience and this place was DISGUSTING! I normally can handle a lot and put up with a few issues and don't write reviews, but this place was dirty and gross, and not clean at all. Let's start with the bathrooms. The white grout in the tile floors were black, the showers were dirty, the sinks had toothpaste in them from someone else, and the ceiling in the master bath had water damage and mold growing on it. Next the kitchen. The sink had someone else's food in it, the cabinets were broken, and the coffee maker and knife holder had some sort of jelly smeared across it. They also gave us someone else's old, used sponge to clean with rather than a new $0.50 sponge still in the wrapper. Finally, the overall home. The light switches were grimy and dirty, the carpets were stained upstairs in several locations, and the ceiling fans had fuzz on them. The air vents were dusty and dirty, the walls had liquid stains on them, and the house smelled of vomit and garbage. When we arrived to the rental, we were greeted by a mound of trash just sitting outside in the lawn. Don't waste your money on a rental with this company. We paid $170 a night for a small studio that was falling apart. Nothing was cleaned like you would expect in a pandemic right now. Stains everywhere on the carpet and couch. The place smelled like cigarettes. No window covers for a dark room and a good night sleep. It lacked personality and good care. Luckily we got our cleaning fee back after I complained but I keep getting emails from them that they want me to leave a nice review in return for a discount on a next stay. Don't waste your money. The house looks incredible in the pics but it's falling apart. All of the chairs in the backyard are stained and have holes, you can't even sit in them. The nice wicker set that's shown outside, the couch is missing the back and you can't sit in it. We didn't have a working fridge the whole time and had over $600 worth of food go to waste that we were not reimbursed for. We had to use coolers and ice to save the little bit we could. When we called to complain the lady told us we put too much food in the fridge and it was our fault. On top of no fridge, the master bedroom bed was broken and the mattress slanted in the middle so we slept on top of each other the whole vacation. Overall we had fun because of the company but all of the positive reviews here are solicited, they ask you to leave a 5* review in return for giving you one. After consulting more with my group, we decided to select another (equally as beautiful) property through The Platinum Experience that had additional covered outdoor space, since many of us are quite fair and not used to the AZ sun! Leslie responded within minutes to my inquiry to switch properties; we quickly got the situation sorted. I had an amazing experience in one of their Scottsdale properties. The home was huge, and def what I would consider 'luxury living'. There was even a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge! We thought that was such a great touch. We had zero issues with the check-in process. It was super easy. When we book another staycation, it will def be with Platinum. Please beware of their properties. They are not clean. It's a surface level clean you see when you get there, but as we looked closer- dust everywhere, random black hairs throughout, floors were very dirty, and severe staining on the couches. The first night we got into bed, we were alarmed to find black hairs in the sheets and blood on the sheets and pillows. The company did send someone out the next day for cleaning and couch steaming, we appreciated that. However, the cleaning crew did not do a good job again. I ended up hiring my own cleaning company because I did not feel comfortable staying there. The furniture is terribly uncomfortable, everything is super cheap. Our stay stay ended early due to something completely out of their control (a storm in the area causing a massive flood). They refunded us the remaining balance and we appreciate that. Overall, though we had a terrible experience outside of the natural disaster. It started from the beginning of check in. Their staff is not nice to work with and very unhelpful. We had several unpleasant encounters with staff members who were rude and we have received "noise complaints" all the time when we were not even at the property- we have received 2 since checking out. I just stayed with my friends at the turney Ave property, there were 12 of us and it was listed for 14. One of my friends had to sleep on the couch with towels as blankets because there was not enough linen to go around! We of course contacted the management and all the response we got was that they would "look into it." Finally on the second day they said they would drop some off, but no such luck, they never did give us anything! The listing advertised an air mattress, but it was down to the floor halfway through the night. Also they asked us to strip the beds when we left- no problem, that's pretty standard at Airbnb's, but there was a disgusting stain on the mattress cover of the bed I slept on! The property was fine otherwise, but these things really brought everything down. read more

My Girlfriend's family and I had a trip booked for later this month, but my Girlfriend's Mom was diagnosed with a serious medical condition at the end of November, so she's been attending various appointments and was advised by her Doctor to avoid travel. We were concerned, but understanding of the refund policies, but had already put half of the money down as a deposit, so were hoping to get something back (It was a large place, so pretty pricey). The stay was still weeks away, so we figured they wouldn't have a problem booking another family/group. Anyway, we reached out to Leslie via Airbnb, and she coldly denied any refund, and sent a link to the "Cancellation Policies" which she clearly hadn't read (so we did). After reading the policies and the section on extenuating circumstances it was clear that our situation fell under that policy, so we reached out again to Leslie stating this and that we'd have to get in touch with Airbnb if she was unable to process a refund. She said that she'd get in touch with her "team" and shortly after, she still was unable to help. We reached out to Airbnb's support team (amazing customer service). They were very responsive, understanding and diligent in getting things taken care of. After sending a note from the Doctor, Airbnb promptly issued a full refund. Moral of the story: The Platinum Experience and Leslie, while managing nice properties don't appear to show any understanding or signs of sympathy towards others' situations. In my opinion, it appears that all they see are dollar signs, and they'll make you jump through every hoop possible in order to see your money again. **Forgot to mention, before the stay was even confirmed, Leslie was extremely confrontational and displaying prejudiced behavior when she saw that we were "local" and she wanted to know the "intentions of our stay". I get that people party in Airbnbs, and that sucks, but it's wrong to instantly assume that because we're within the state that we're planning on throwing a huge party at your Airbnb. Had a terrible experience staying at one of their rentals through AIR BNB. House was not ready when we arrived. There wasn't any cleaning supplies (clorox) for disinfecting, found the pool green, and when we used the electrical outlets the electrical went out. They didn't know what the electrical box looked like. Their vendors came to the property without any notice. They did send someone to clean the pool that same day, but we lost a day and half of using the pool. They seem disengaged from their rentals. When we got home, my nephew got a bacterial skin infection and everyone else had upset stomach and vomiting, so it had to be the pool. We did contact them, and they did give us a partial credit. From this experience we should've been fully reimbursed. Should've looked on yelp for reviews prior to renting this home. Learning lesson. Hope the homeowners find a new management company. read more

This house was amazing! It was clean, updated and great location. We were very impressed with the rental agency (Platinum Experience) and more specifically Jeff Gibb. He went above and beyond to make sure any issues were addressed promptly and was very personable. When we arrived there were not as many lounge chairs outside as the online pictures showed so we alerted Jeff and he had a couple brand new ones brought right over. Same with the coffee pot that was cracked, we had a brand new one an hour later. His service was impeccable and I highly recommend staying here! read more

Our family had a great experience renting a home in Scottsdale managed by The Platinum Experience. Issues that arose with the house were addressed and they were responsive to calls and texts. We even received a call prior to our stay to go thru any questions, overview of the house and area, which was a helpful experience. Usually when renting a place you never hear from the property manager offering assistance before its needed. The Platinum Experience Management Company is anything but that, stay away from their properties! The house we stayed at was disgusting, what I'm pretty sure was blood on the walls, door knobs you wouldn't touch, mattresses on the floor, cabinets falling apart, rusted outdoor furniture coated with dust, outdoor table had previous tenants food still on it... I could go on and on. I spent the first half day of my vacation cleaning their house! We complained and had their Manager Juley come talk to us, promising we'd "work something out" in return for a good review but texted us that night (after being in the home 2 days) that they would send a cleaning crew (the next day, day 3 of the 4 day stay) and "see if" they could refund the $200 cleaning fee, but no guarantees. I rented their Scottsdale property for 3 night stay with my family. The house was nice and clean, some things could be better as the kitchen equipment. After my departure I realize that I left my expensive coat behind. It was a Burberry coat that cost around $3500. I knew exactly where I left it and my family did confirm that they saw the coat in the closet as well. We just forgot that the coat was hanging there since it was in a case and we did not take it. I called the vacation property manager around 4pm and she said not to worry that she will have her Houskeeper check on it. I called everyday for 3 days and she kept on saying that they are very busy. On the 5th day she said they did not find anything. She would not allowed me back in or talk with the Houskeeper or the property owner. I did see that they have a policy that says what ever is left behind will be donated. I'm an Airbnb host and I always make sure that everything is returned to my clients promptly. I would not recommend this vacation rental agency. I do understand that I should not leave anything behind, but it happens. I'm very sad and disappointed. read more

I can't believe that I got an email asking for me to refer people to Leslie and her team. We rented a property from them a couple of years ago in Scottsdale. When we arrived the place looked like a pigsty. They apologized and cleaned up right away. Then we found out that the tv didn't work. They said they would get someone out right of way but we had to wait for the repair team. They never showed up. They tried to get us to handle it again because THEY were not going to work that day. Due to the inconvenience of not taking care of things, they offered a free dinner voucher. They kept promising to drop off the voucher and NOTHING ever showed up and the tv didn't get fixed. Unfortunately we forgot a nice business coat at their place. I get it that in their policy they state that it's our loss if we leave something, however, all that they put us through, you would think this was their way to make up for it. Once again, empty promises to do it "tomorrow". I called regularly and it took them three months to send it. We complained about the lack of attention, consideration, service and then they promised to give us a discount on our rental. Again, empty promises every where because we never got any credit. We stayed at one of these properties in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area this winter. Agree with previous post that communication was sluggish. Based on our experience and reviewing their website, our rental had a very fine glossy sheen (they photograph well) but as soon as you scratch the surface things start to look ugly. The bedrooms were packed full of beds to maximize number of people. The mattresses were old and uncomfortable. There was a bloodstain on one of the pillows. The rental was poorly equipped and only partially cleaned upon arrival. The oven didn't work and the dishwasher was not properly bolted in. The closets were falling apart, the remote had no batteries, the list goes on. The manager did have the oven and dishwasher repaired. Bottom line: pics looked good but the unit is poorly maintained and poorly cared for. read more

This company is very concerning a worker was stalking the house with my family in there and I had to be sure to not let my kids out. I am very very disturbed by the way they treat there customers. As a customer you would expect quality service but they litterly have complained about a light in a area we have NOT USED AT ALL OR EVEN TOUCHED ALSO THEY HAVE a car in the garage that takes up space that we paid for. I do not recommend this rental company I will be filing for harassment charges against them and that's the end of it. Home was beautiful but service was horrible. Pool has been cloudy since we came to the home, chairs also where broken outside, one of them room has no AC AND Is SUPER HOT . VERY disappointed with this company! We have booked numerous homes and this was by far our worst experience! We booked one of their properties for 2 weeks in March 2020. The day after we arrived, the president of the US declared a National Emergency due to COVID-19. Due to health risks, it was imperative we leave for home immediately and cut our stay by 12 days. Leslie advised us in writing that since her company had "A heart and soul", we had 2 options. One, they could try to rent out the remaining 12 days and we would be refunded. Two, we could re-book another week and receive a refund for the second week. We chose the second option and Leslie indicated that was "great"! After almost 4 weeks, we tried contacting the company many times regarding the status of our refund. Finally, after several attempts, we were advised they would NOT honor any of the options they provided in the beginning. Shame on them! In addition, the air conditioning wasn't working properly when we arrived and were told someone would be out first thing the next morning. Nobody showed up.. Absolute nightmare! I booked through Airbnb and never had an issue with a host until I booked with Leslie. I am a patient at Mayo Clinic and they had changed my procedure dates and I wanted to change my two nights to two other nights that were available. I communicated with Leslie and she was not responsive until I canceled my reservation. Then all of sudden she becomes responsive and tells me that she had "technical issues", which was a red flag to be considering Airbnb told me there had been no known reported issues. Then she reached out telling me to book those dates which I was totally fine with and glad she was finally communicating with me. I noticed the nights were more so I reached back out asking her some questions in regards to pricing/charges. She once again didn't respond. I contacted Airbnb for some guidance and then was informed she refused to give me my money back, yet her place is back up for rent for those nights. She was the reason I had to cancel in the first place as there was NO communication and my stay date was quickly approaching. I have never had a host that wouldn't respond back, and most of them if not all respond promptly or within 2 hours or so. What if an emergency arose during my stay, and there is NO communication? I come to the area monthly for treatments so she could have had a guest at her rentals on a monthly basis but instead does this to potential customers. You have all these rentals you obviously want business, yet this is how you do people?? You can't run a business with NO communication then screw people over and expect people to be okay with that! You can't promise to provide a service if you can't deliver! read more
