I am super freaking picky but I think she got me and what i wanted. She also taught me how to take care of the hair after. She's also just really fun to talk to (i HATE chatting while getting a hair cut lol), and I got to turn on my favorite show for this 4-5hour coloring lol (black to pink!) Everytime I go to different salons from looking at pictures online, they have their assistants do most of the work while they oversee the assistants. I think this sucks because i'm paying for service from the professional and not their assistants! I messaged Nancy on instagram and she was very prompt with her response and helped fix and achieve the hair color that I wanted. Nancy is really welcoming and super nice. She does everything by herself so you don't have to worry about an assistant doing the entire process. Highly Recommend if you're looking for a good hair stylist!

I do not know how often this sort of situation happens, but it did happen to me. I did a strand test with Cindy and booked my appointment shortly after. The first time she rescheduled me, she told me it was a clerical error. Then she texted me at midnight telling me to come for my original scheduled appt the next day, then she texted me the morning of 15 minutes before my appointment and rescheduled me. After my appointment was pushed out a MONTH, it came the day of and she asked to push my appointment later in the day. I agreed and she asked to reschedule me again. At that point I was a little fed up as I had tried to be understanding, but I really wanted my hair done so she asked me to push my appt later in the day again. (Screenshots attached of her rescheduling me) When I got to the salon, I waited another 30 minutes before Cindy started doing my hair. Cindy and her assistant were very passive aggressive, complaining to me about how I was their last client and how exhausted they were, how they wanted to go home. All the while, Cindy never explained to me what she was doing and was yanking my hair which made me feel very uncomfortable. This was also my first time getting my hair done so I didn't know too much about the process. She had told me we would be doing a global bleaching (screenshot attached for proof) which is what I paid for but that is not what I got. In the end, the color was nice (although definitely not global) and to top it off Cindy did not give me any Olaplex products as she said she would. She was rushing me out of the salon and her husband was even waiting around while I finished. Overall, I had such a poor experience with Cindy due to her lack of professionalism, the whole rescheduling fiasco to her attitude. I ended up going to another salon to achieve platinum and had a much better experience in terms of both the process and the result. I know plenty of Cindy's clients and read all the good reviews but I will not be returning.

She's a super sweet person who helps guide you through your hair process and she's also super reasonable with her prices. I've had trouble with my hair since the last two stylists I've gone to. The toning faded quickly and the colors didn't come out as I expected. For some reason although my hair was already bleached twice the blonde didn't come through at all. But thanks to Cindy she was able to help me achieve my perfect blonde all in one session so that I wouldn't have to ever worry about orange payoff again. Her sessions are a bit long but the time you spend with her are so worth it, since she is super patient and only wants the best for her clients. If there's uncertainty in the process she'll be sure to confirm with her clients and fix any mishaps, I really admire her honesty in her work. I can totally picture myself coming back to Cindy for toning or some baby lights done in the future. Thank you Cindy for a wonderful experience!

If hairstylist putting you down for appointments and is late for appointments for 30+ minutes each time (and don't even apologize for the delay) would frustrate you, this is truthfully not the salon for you. I wish they would value their customers' time. Sometimes it really feels like the appointment structure here works just like doctor visits. You can call ahead to make appointments, but there's no guarantee your stylist will be at the salon on the day of your appointment. When you're lucky, you'll receive a phone call the day of to notify you that your stylist will be absent for your appointment. If you're unlucky, you'll find out when you arrive that another stylist will have to help you because your regular stylist is not in town. The skill of a stylist is worthless to me unless he/she knows the importance of honoring appointment times. I've stopped coming here for a while because I was tired with appointment issues. The salon I go to now is pricier but I no longer have to wait unnecessarily for my stylist because she doesn't double book herself like this place does.

Yes, we did exchange some ref pics through text beforehand as expected, but I always feel the need to remind my stylist of what I want day of as well. For some reason, the moment I walked through the door and met Caroline, she exuded an air of confidence that made me feel like I could trust her completely, so I said "you take the wheel!" and let her do her magic. I asked Caroline for a warm brown (my hair had been colored ash blonde with babylights for about 3 years now), and to have it at a slight balayage ombre from my roots down. She explained to me exactly what she was going to do beforehand, while also checking in with me to make sure it was what I wanted. She was transparent and honest about what could and could not be achieved due to the color/condition of my hair currently. Now usually the hair coloring process entails a lot of small talk between client and stylist. In my past experiences, I felt the need to keep up with the "cool" and "edgy" aura that the salons carried, similar to how one might feel when surrounded by the popular kids crew in high school. However, talking to Caroline was like talking to an old friend. She came across very genuinely interested in establishing a relationship with her clients, and she was an amazing listener. She even did that thing where she paraphrases what you say and repeats it back to you (lol!!!). Needless to say, I felt so relaxed and comfortable chatting with her through the whole process. Oh, not only did I get my hair colored, I also got BANGS!!! For the first time since....like I was in elementary school!? Caroline was gentle and careful through the process, gradually adding in thickness as to ensure that we don't go overboard too fast. She consistently double-checked with me to makes sure I was happy with what's happening, and I felt very reassured. The end product overwhelmed me in the best way. I did not even recognize myself, but I felt SO myself. Caroline achieved the warm brown caramel ombre/balayage with meticulous execution, and I absolutely LOVED my bangs!!!!! Not only that, she provided very useful hair care tips and product recommendations. It was clear that she not only cared about making you look good for that one day, she cared maintaining the quality and health of your hair as well. I can't recommend Caroline enough! Reading the other reviews on this Yelp page just re-emphasizes to me that my experience with her is echoed by many!

Jess also put some long layers in for movement and some face framing pieces (loveeee face framing pieces) and it brought my hair back to life. Also, her blowouts make me feel like a bombshell. I contacted Jess via IG DM and she responded really quickly! Thinking I would have to wait a couple months to get an appointment, I was pleasantly surprised when she said she has availability the same day and in 3 days! (She also said I could choose other dates if those didn't work of course.) When you get to the salon, you can park in the garage or in the street, and you have to let her know that you're there to get inside (good security!). It's decorated so aesthetically, and she makes sure you know what you want before even laying a finger on the scissors. I chopped off around 2 feet of hair, and am so happy with the result! The last haircut I got was $15 and the person put my hair into 3 ponytails and snipped it all off--of course this pales in comparison to how amazing Jess is with how she handles her clients! My friend had a really bad experience here! My friend went there to remove her Gel-X nails. While…read moreremoving, the nail tech started pulling them off with a tool instead of properly soaking them first. My friend told her several times that it was painful, and the tech simply responded, "I know," but continued anyway. She eventually pulled so hard that part of my friend's natural nail came off and started bleeding. What was even more upsetting was that she didn't apologize or show any concern. Instead, she told us, "If you remove easy, you don't come here." The whole situation felt extremely careless and unprofessional, especially since my friend repeatedly told her she was in pain. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.
