For management: Great coffee and location. However 5 mins ago I got a coffee and used 2 cups seemingly glued together, couldn't pull the two cups apart so just used 2 cups as one. Didn't have time today to sit there and wrestle them apart, tho I'm a 200 lb rock climber and it shouldn't have been so hard. At payment was TOLD "I charged you for two cups" by the woman working there. I assumed she meant for two cups (like a 75 cent surcharge for the extra cup) but realized she meant two cups of coffee after. Um. The wrongness of this should be evident, but here's a couple versions that would be less egregious: Even "I'll have to charge you for two cups of coffee if you don't separate the cups." Or better, don't charge a person for two cups of cofffee who got one cup of coffee. This is charging for an empty CUP something like 3000% of the cost of the cup for the cup, and that is extortionate, even if the scale is small. This is absolutely unacceptable policy, if it is policy, and needs to be addressed, whether it is or not. Great location though! Also, "I charged you for two cups" is inaccurate is misleading if you charged me for two coffees. That is the necessary language. read more

Great car wash but don't speak to the employees esp when you get a car wash-bad technology issues, that is their problem that it's not working properly from not wanting to upgrade their pin pads. Their employees specifically 'Marcos' the bigger guy...extremely rude and will disregard if youre handicap. And will talk and spit and scream at you. Just quit if you hate your job or better yet just say you don't know how to work the pin pad. read more

I usually go to this company's drive thru car was on the Mesa, which always does a great job. I was in Montecito yesterday and decided to give this location a try. I'll continue to use the Mesa or Turnpike locations, but I won't be returning to this spot. Pros: - very fast, despite a line - helpful employee Cons: - the wash water smelled bad. noticeable smell lingered in my car for about an hour - worst car wash of any drive thru car wash I've been to. Noticeable dirt left on all sides of the car I understand and applaud that car washes recycle their water, and I'm sure it's hard to manage odors in recycled water during hot months. Apparently, The Point Market is a Santa Barbara-area mini-empire. I didn't know that before last weekend, and I doubt that knowledge will ever be useful, but I'm spreading and immortalizing it forever (or until Yelp dies), and who knows? Maybe some of my readers will find that information useful. The gas is a ripoff, but you wouldn't stop here for gas anyway. The bathrooms are clean, which is probably why you stopped here, especially if you're like me and you didn't get enough sleep so you were downing caffeinated liquids like crazy all through your drive and your bladder isn't what it used to be. Did I mention they're clean? Yes, I did. There are two of them, and they're single-user, so you don't need to worry about waiting for the men's or women's room to free up while the other one sits idle. There's no code; there's no key attached to an oil-funnel. Nope, you have to tell the cashier all the way on the other end of the store that you need to use the bathroom, and he'll open it remotely. The snacks are a ripoff as well, but not as much of a ripoff as the gas. There's a huge selection of everything, so if you're going for a beach outing or park picnic, you can stock up on random stuff here, especially if you're bringing along one of those friends who can't picnic without her 100 Grand or specialty coffee drink or macadamia nuts. Return access to the freeway is also pretty simple, so this might be an ideal place for future planned bathroom stops now that Pea Soup Andersen's in Buellton has closed! I went for a detail yesterday and the inside of my car looked great. But looking in the trunk there was dog hair when I picked it up. I don't even have a dog? Other then dog hair it was clean. When I picked up they had just closed the trunk so maybe a dog walking by got hair in there ? Not sure happened. The wheels were cleaned on the outside part but nothing done on the inner part. Also the frunk was not touched ( I wouldn't complain about this since they may not have known I had a front trunk ) But the thing that really got me is this morning when I went in the car it was soaked. Water dripping from everywhere.. I've had details before and this has never been an issue. Lastly the stickers on my window up and down buttons are almost completely off. Before taking it one was damaged but not like this. I tried to call before posting since I've had good experiences in the past but the number they called me from yesterday to say my car was ready was no answer and no voice mail set up . The gas station and market should be a five star. However, please get rid of the homeless camp right in front of your sidewalk. it is blocking the handicap access to your property. My elderly father could not walk by your property because of the massive homeless set up. Also, the homeless are inside of the store, coughing all over your food and beverage areas. if I could give negative stars, I would. Avoid this place at all costs. Not only are their prices insane, but they're thieves. I went to this location yesterday, purchased under $20 worth of products and paid with a $100 bill. The cashier handed me back $32 instead of $82. When I realized this, I alerted them but they basically blew me off. I called and was told to come back to the store with my receipt and they could check the security footage above the register. When I got there, they wouldn't do any of those things AND I was essentially told to file a police report if I want the security footage reviewed. So I'm filing a police report. If it happened to me, it's happened to others. $50 isn't that much money on the grand scheme of things, but it's about principle. I'm not letting these thieves get away with it or cover for their employees to get away with it. I'm not letting this go. Y'all are CROOKS! And I will NOT be letting this go. I don't care if your whole operation crumbles, I'm getting my $50. That cashier choice the absolute wrong one - I have a hard time letting things go. Their gas machines are faulty. I walked away from the tank while it was auto-filling and it did not stop. It continued to pour gasoline out of my car and all over the ground. When I told the man at the front desk he said it was my fault and started yelling at me. On my epic journey around a snow-closed Grapevine last month, I found myself passing through Santa Barbara after midnight to get back to LA. This gas station hit all the necessary criteria. It: (1) had a 24-hour convenience store that (2) stocked good kombucha and (3) had a clean interior, (4) was near the 101-freeway, and (5) had friendly staff. The gas here is also cheaper than nearby stations. And tbh, if the attendant had been rude to me, this would still have been a 4-star review, because so much disappointed about my endless drive home that anything going right carried the day. Every mountain pass I tried to cross closed up by the time I got to it, Waze and my maps app couldn't keep up with all the shutdowns, and the Burger King in Bakersfield ran out of French fries. (In case you were wondering, the cheese tots are not a suitable replacement.) My wife was devastated that she lost her Disneyland Annual Pass holder magnet in the car wash here. I called and spoke with a gentleman who went out of his way to find the magnet and was able to pick it up. WOW! The only downside of this interaction was that I had to drive 2 hours from LA to pick it up since they said that there were unable to ship it, even after offering to pay for shipping. Avoid this place if you actually want a decent car wash. I had to get mine washed again (at another car wash) due to all the soapy residue (SO, SO many suds... we even commented on the amount of suds while in the wash itself) that was left on my car. For $10 (which is a bit high for the basic wash but this is Santa Barbara), I expected a good if not great car wash. First time in hundreds of car washes that I've left a car wash with a dirtier can than I started with. Another annyoance... the digital screen on which you buy the wash itself is no longer working, so it takes awhile to figure out how to even buy a wash. You just have to wing it. They need to put a little money into its repair and work on a better rinse cycle. read more

I was looking for a car detail service and ran across the car wash page instead. I couldn't believe all the shade directed at this business so I decided to share our experience. We live down the road and frequently get the mobile wash. We love it. That machine gets better results for the money than when we pay $25 at some other locations for a "hand wash". We also love their hot dogs! They're not the healthiest choice, but they're tasty. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, too, whether it's with getting us into the car wash right, or running down an extra bun for my kid's hot dog. Also, after the 01/09 disaster when we were finally allowed to start coming back, these folks were there and very supportive and understanding of our situation. read more

We saw a person try to turn around to get gas to have someone else take his pump. So with people in front and behind you how do you get out when done? It's $9 for the Basic Car Wash, and it doesn't say that when you are offered the option at the pump. If I'd known, I wouldn't have chosen it. It also doesn't discount the gas when you choose the car wash. Other places give a 20 cent a gallon discount for a car wash, which saves a couple of bucks. read more

So, there I was, at about 4 in the afternoon, little old lady cruising down the 101 heading from SB home to Ojai, when a couple guys honked at me to tell me I was leaking copious amounts of fluids, right before the Coast Village Road exit. Quickly jumped off the expressway, and not knowing the area at all, just cruised down CV Road until I hit this Chevron. Obviously not a 'garage', but pulled in anyway, just to see for myself what they were talking about. Oh, yeah - LOTS of coolant leaking from my car. Went inside to ask if they could recommend a nearby mechanic that might be able to help. Your employee, Vicente, stopped what he was working on, came out to my car to see what was up. Said DO NOT DRIVE IT. Um ... and I'm getting home how? He proceeds to find me two different mechanic options, connects me with the one who'll be open the latest, and is closest (and who turned out to be terrific ...), and while I'm talking to them, he goes back outside. I come out to find that he's in the process of topping off what fluids he can so I have a chance of making it to the garage. He then gives me perfect directions for how to get there, and sends me on my way. Absolutely flawless 'customer' service - way above and beyond - and I wasn't even a customer! VICENTE - outstanding employee! I suggest you should do whatever is necessary to keep that guy happy working for you. He represented your company beautifully. read more

Went through the car wash. Only to be driving on the road back and had water leaking from the interior light fixture of my car. (Which is a newer car) I've never had this problem before. I called the company to ask if it's been a problem before. Thinking there might be a chance a seal could've been broken from the power of the wash or the brushes. To speed up gas and wash, they allow both purchases at the pump - which did not print the receipt, meaning I had to go inside and wait in line with those in the convenience store. Next visit used my Von's $.20/gal discount, but the machine shut itself off at $0.97 and would not honor the discount a second time (contrary to what the cashier said). Employee "Emma" was rude, condescending, and most of all, argumentative. Her conflict managing skills were completely unacceptable to an unsatisfied customer (myself). Beautifully redone to look a Spanish villa and open 24 hours, this is my favorite combo fuel / wash / quality food and drinks station ever. They carry tons of high end local foods, coffees, wines, etc. too. Also, very attentive workers and a new top of the line automated wash. read more
