For anyone who doesn't know, poke is a Hawaiian-inspired dish made with fresh sushi-grade fish, rice, veggies, sauces, and toppings all mixed into these super flavorful and satisfying bowls. And let me tell you, these bowls were EXACTLY what we needed after leaving another restaurant still hungry and annoyed. The service here was immediately better. We were greeted nicely, our food came out super fast, and the whole experience just felt easy and stress-free. The bowls were fresh, filling, flavorful, and honestly so comforting after the chaos downstairs. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything tasted really balanced and delicious. My boyfriend also ordered the gyozas and for a fast casual spot they were surprisingly really good too -- crispy, hot, flavorful, and the perfect side to the bowls. Honestly, if you're around Fifth + Broadway and want something quick, tasty, and actually worth your money, skip the frustration downstairs and just go upstairs to the food hall. Sometimes the "quick food" ends up giving you a way better experience than the full-service restaurant below it.

This location is located in Assembly Food Hall, so it is a booth and there is plenty of seating around the hall. There was a good variety of toppings and proteins - they had my favorites which are crab salad, seaweed salad (+$1), and tobiko. The poke is of average quality - it comes pre-marinated which further signals that it probably isn't as fresh as it could be. The rest of the ingredients are indeed fresh, though! After tax I paid $15+ for a regular sized bowl. The staff are polite and efficient.

Traveling in Nashville and came upon this restaurant. I was in the mood for some sushi and this was…read morethe right place. Great little spot with plenty of tables and booths. Menu had plenty of options. We got seated right away. For appetizers we ordered the Vietnamese chicken wings, the gyoza, a miso soup and the ginger salad to start. For our meal, we went with the dragon roll, the rainbow roll, and the sesame chicken bowl. We finished with mochi ice cream (2 strawberries and a green tea). They had no mango mochi. Overall great food, definitely worth trying. The portions were big and it tasted delicious. The sesame chicken bowl had way too much sauce for our liking. The main little issue I had was that they never picked up our plates during our meal, so our table was packed with different plates. Even when the dessert came, plates were still all on our table. Again, nothing to do with food, but more on the experience.

Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I tried the Fuji Roll and it was perfect. Not too heavy on the rice, just the right kick of spice. You can tell they take pride in quality ingredients and it was priced right. Let's talk about the Ginger Salad. It was super fresh and delicious. The mango and avocado was perfect together. Get the salad. Decent wine selection. I paired my sushi with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc that cut through the richness of the fish just right. I was expecting Happy Hour options as this page laid out Happy Hour deals that my pocket would've appreciated. Service: Friendly and fast, which was expected as I was the only person in the restaurant at 6pm. Overall, Nomzilla is one of those sushi spots that feels unpretentious but still delivers high quality. Perfect for when you want great sushi, good wine, and an easygoing vibe without the downtown chaos but don't expect HH options despite HH details on the page.
