Needed a replacement windshield for my 2002 Audi Avant. Decided to get a quote with Safelite Auto Glass online. Was quoted Over almost $400. I then browsed around and found Angels Auto Glass in Staten Island with near perfect ratings out of 61 people on Google reviews. I contacted him and was quoted $200 and he could do it same day as long as it was before 1:00pm so he could order the windshield. I got off the phone and chatted with the wifey and we decided to go ahead and do it but scheduled next day due to the heavy storms we had yesterday. I called him back and said yep, lets go ahead and scheduled for the next day at 2:00pm. I arrived at the location and found there Blue Angels Auto Glass truck sticking out and was easy to find. I spoke with his brother and handed over the keys. He got to work on the car as the wife and i took a walk around the neighborhood. We came back and Angel was back from another job (As he is a busy man) and introduced himself. We chatted for a little bit and he got to work. Him and his brother from what i can see did an Excellent job, Shop was Clean, Very friendly and outgoing. They also pointed out that the last installer that installed previously did not use enough silicone that i had seen, and there was a little bit of a bubble spot of rust. Him and his brother took care of it and painted so it would not have issue in the future. They worked quickly but very professionally. I would recommend to anybody that is in need of a vehicle window replacement. As for the people that are complaining and whining about the location, drive time, and estimate. Well in the future find a location close to you, and do you research and call around on your vehicle. I mean you are not going to find a $200 windshield for a 2019 Benz, BMW, or even Audi, so expect to pay if you have a newer vehicle. The service was professional, swift, and affordable. Having damage in the front window, it needed to be repaired as soon as possible in order to drive safely. Discussing the issue initially via phone, it was obvious that the owner has a record of satisfactory customer relations. Pictures via text message was accepted to discuss the job. An appointment was able to be made later the same day. Although it wasn't necessary, the offer was there to arrive at my location. Watching the work in person, it was noticable that, although swift, it was done by a professional with many years experience. The prep work, the accuracy, and the care was put into the job. What was especially appreciated was that along with the window, the dashboard, floor, and all other windows were cleaned. As a result, the car was returned in better condition than when it arrived. On a recent weekend family trip to Staten Island my SUV ends up getting a small crack in the windshield. Being a late Saturday morning I was worried I wouldn't be able to find anyone available in such short notice, and I definitely did not want to risk the crack spreading and having to replace the entire windshield. We called Angels Auto Glass & spoke with angel, he was extremely helpful & was even willing to meet us just south of the city so we could get the repair done. I spoke to Angel on Monday and he asked me to text his receptionist with details for an appointment. They were able to schedule a chip repair the next day. He came to West New York, NJ to do the repair. He was very prompt and responsive over text. Angel came to do the repair himself. He seems like a nice family guy. He was able to do the repair quickly right in front of my home. At my request he gave me a quote on a replacement windshield and I believe the price was very fair and I was happy to hear that it would be the same brand windshield that came from the factory. My car was broken into, window smashed, Sunday, long weekend, and even though the shop was closed, Angel picked up the phone when I called and met me at the shop and put my car inside as I didn't want to keep my car without a window. Great service, and a fair price, and they came the day after I called, to do the job. Much better price than what I was quoted by Safelite (which was about 30% higher in cost). On the day of the appointment, Angel came out to replace my windshield on my Acura TL, as there was a large crack running through the side. The service was done smoothly and efficiently- they finished in about an hour, and did a great job! It looks perfect now, all stickers and attachments on the inside were replaced as before. I called Angel about a cracked windshield on my 2007 BMW 535 XI and needed to see if it could be repaired for the insurance company. He came to my home almost immediately and advised it needed to be replaced because of size and location. He ordered the new windshield the same day and installed the very next day in front of my home in about an hour. THe only hold up was the insurance company sending the right paperwork or it may have been done the same day I called him. Called Angel around 9AM this morning to replace my rear window. He gave me the fairest price by far compared to more popular competitors (almost half the price of safelite!). Angel and his partner came right to my house on the north shore by 3pm, thoroughly vacuumed the car, took apart the car piece by piece to ensure all glass was removed, and then replaced the window after the area was cleaned. Very trustworthy guy! My read windshield was busted out and I had to get it repaired before a thunderstorm came. I called angel and gave him the details. He was there next day exactly when he said he would be. The repair took very little time and he sent me photos when he finished. I didn't even have to be there for him to fix it.
