Polynesian Residences Hotel - Waikiki This was, without question, the worst hotel stay I've ever experienced. I stayed at the Polynesian Residences Hotel in Waikiki from July 22-27, 2026. On my first night in Room 505, I woke up to find bugs--specifically roaches. The refrigerator was also dirty and unsanitary. After reporting the issues, I was moved to Room 305 the following day. Unfortunately, Room 305 was noticeably smaller than the room I had originally paid for. After returning from a wonderful day exploring Hawaii, I took a shower and discovered water covering the entire bathroom floor because the shower door would not close properly and the bottom seal was damaged. That same evening, around 8:40 p.m., I was moved again, this time to Room 513. Since it was late, I didn't have an opportunity to thoroughly inspect the room until the next morning. What I found was unacceptable. The room had not been vacuumed, there were dead moths on the floor, the bed skirt was stained and dirty, the shower was deteriorating, and there was mold around the bathroom sink. On Sunday afternoon, around 1:00 p.m., while I was taking a nap, housekeeping entered my room unexpectedly. I had been unable to place the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside of the door because it was stuck in the metal door fixture. What concerned me even more was that I could not lock the door from the inside, which made me feel unsafe. I expected someone to come and repair the lock after I reported it, but no one ever did. Throughout my stay, I took photographs and videos documenting the roaches, the dirty conditions, the maintenance issues, and the safety concerns. I showed everything to both the front desk staff and the hotel manager. Despite having clear evidence of the problems, nothing was done to resolve the issues other than repeatedly moving me from one room to another. None of the rooms met the standard I expected for what I paid. My visit to Hawaii was absolutely amazing, and I truly enjoyed the islands. However, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Between the cleanliness issues, multiple room changes, maintenance problems, and the lack of security, I cannot recommend staying here. If you're planning a trip to Waikiki, I strongly suggest choosing a different hotel. Very nice little hidden, yet in plain sight, place. I like how it's on the main strip and the little shops in front. We had a hard time finding it due to how small the sign was. Yet I like the sign. The room was very modern. And the bathroom seemed to be renovated. We had a microwave and fridge in our room as part of our amenities. -They have washer and dryer in the hotel. Wash was $1.75 in quarters. They have Tide detergent for $2 at the front desk. Dryer was free. -Ice machine all over the place -they have drinks by the front desk, no vending machine -pool deck -one elevator (need card key) -room deposit $100 with credit card, but $200 for a debit card. -you must bring your credit card that you used to book and I All in all, I would stay here again. This hotel is so convenient when it comes to walking distance to pretty much everything in Waikiki! I would definitely stay here again because everyone here is so nice and very helpful. Having a car is very useful for the overall trip going outside of this area but if you plan on staying around here majority of the trip, this hotel is great. It's walking distance to so many bars/restaurants, convenience stores, coffee, shopping, the beach etc.. there's so much to do. Checking in and checking out was smooth. Great customer service. The hotel seems older but for the price wasn't bad. The only "issue" is that they do not have a parking garage of their own but parking is available across the street! Just let the front desk know that you have a car and they give you a parking pass (charge per day, of course). The walk isn't far either. We were SO nervous when circling around for looking for parking but luckily they do offer a parking pass!! I wouldn't have known until looking at yelp and saw another review mentioning this so tysm for that reviewer!! Long story short we checked in got charged a fee for a lot of other things which is ok no issues with that but during our first night staying after being out exploring came to our rooms to sleep and there was a small dot of blood on the sheets and a roach. Not only did I have to stay up to call and ask for new sheets or even a new room since I doubt that the room was ever cleaned prior to us arriving very disappointed! read more

I discovered the "The Polynesian Residences" during my last visit in May 2022. As I was walking along Kalakaua and Beachwalk, I noticed people with luggage coming out of the foyer. The entrance to this hotel is discrete, and it gets lost amongst the street level storefronts of this building. This establishment markets itself as a boutique hotel. There are a total of 59 rooms; and there are five different room configurations. (If you visit the hotel's website--www*polynesianresidences*com, you can see various room options, and amenities. However, I booked my room using a travel aggregation website.) As Waikiki is a major tourist destination, the hotel rooms see a constant turnover of guests. However, my room had modern décor and was reasonably well maintained--although there were some bumps and bruises. The carpet was clean. The bed was comfortable, and the sheets were crisp. The TV was newer and operated well. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and I was able to access the internet with my laptop and make calls over Wi-Fi using my cell phone. My room also had a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool. This complex is quiet, and as long as the slider was closed, I didn't hear any city noise or commotion from the pool deck below. This hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach. And its situs allows you to access all parts of the Waikiki tourist zone's restaurants and shopping options. If you don't want to walk too far, there are plenty of restaurants, with a variety of price points, within yards of this hotel. Long's Drug and ABC stores are across the street and provide a "one-stop-shop" for most needs. But before you buy, check with the hotel's front desk. In addition to beach towels, the hotel has items such as beach chairs, beach umbrellas, etc. which you can borrow. If there is a downside, it is the issue of parking. The hotel does not have its own parking facility. If you need to park a car, the hotel has a cooperative arrangement with a parking lot 0.10 miles away--about a 5-minute walk. There is an additional daily fee for parking. But there is also no "street parking" either. When I asked the front desk if there was a "loading zone" in close proximity to load luggage, I was told that I could park briefly in the loading zone in front of the Tommy Bahama store. In the short time it took me to leave the car and fetch my luggage, I received a parking ticket. (Specifically, parking in a loading zone without a loading permit. I guess the loading zone is intended for commercial vehicles making deliveries to the local businesses.) If you need to park for a short duration, such as to check-in to the hotel, I suggest that you go to the US Post Office on Saratoga. (It's the next street over.) That parking lot has parking for post office business, and a kiosk for a small number of public parking spots. read more

BED BUGS. **PSA to check your beds regardless of hotel. Know how to check, and what to look for** I work really hard to support the local businesses and community wherever I go. If there is an issue, I always give people an opportunity to work with me to resolve it. I stayed at this location for a week and will not be returning. The photos in the other reviews are very accurate in terms of the lack of cleanliness and presence of mold throughout. My biggest issue is that I wound up sleeping on bed bug ridden beds for 3 days without knowing, then once we found them (walking across the sheets) and notified staff, we were shrugged off and told there are no bed bugs and told to go back to our room (after they went and simply remade the beds for us). After requesting to speak to the manager for more than 30 minutes and finally being put in touch with her, I was told I would not be reimbursed for sleeping on bed bugs and they would just move me rooms to get me to stop complaining. By this time the bed bugs had taken over my suitcases and everything inside. After many hours of back and forth, showing photos and video, the manager finally listened to me and had her maintenance guy throw everything we owned into a dryer or took a "blow dryer" (his words not mine) to our things to "treat them". They did reimburse us only for the 3 nights we slept on bed bugs. The overall experience at this hotel was very bad. The staff treated us as if we were the problem. The beds had 4-5 mattress covers on them (obviously showing they are aware of the problem and simply slapping more covers to try and contain). There were at least 4 generations of bed bugs in that room. I was there for a Pest Control Conference, so I knew what I was talking about. I do not appreciate being treated the way I was, being made to feel guilty for inconveniencing the hotel because I did not want to sleep with bed bugs. We've stayed here before without any problems, however this time was different and not as pleasant. Every time we opened the door there was a very unpleasant odor. Once in the room it wasn't as bad. The biggest problem was that our allergies went crazy whenever we were in the room. Not sure the cause, but the fact that the A/C unit showed the word "FILTER" on it makes us think the air filters were dirty. read more

The Polynesian Residences is marketed as a boutique hotel, but I'd recommend avoiding this place at all costs. My partner and I booked this stay towards the tailend of our trip to Oahu and were excited, since the prices were fairly reasonable compared to the other hotels in the Waikiki area. However, with the plethora of low-rated reviews on Yelp, it's all starting to make sense. The Polynesian Residences has that facade of looking like a nice boutique hotel, but it has its cracks and bruises. The hotel staff are rude and dismissive, and the room has its own issues. The beds in our room were pretty questionable. Stains on the bedding, yellowing pillowcases, sheets that feel like scratchy napkins, and a bathroom that constantly smells like urine with a deteriorating shower. Overall, I did not enjoy my time here and felt very belittled by the hotel staff whenever I'd encounter them. read more

Noise basically coming from every direction car noise from the street, people talking in the hallways coming thru the front door and side walls are extremely thin could hear next room to us talking the whole night. This hotel is low key prestigious to me! This is where me and my husband stay last month when we came to visit Hawaii for the first time! It's located at the center surrounding the shops, the beach and a few meters away from Hard Rock Cafe and the ramen place downstairs is the best!!! This place is not very expensive and not crowded and its modern design still feels homey. The pool is clear blue clean and water temperature is perfect! The bathroom has bidet toilet bowl which is the best! I love the lightings and they give new towels everyday too! I simply love the simpleness and cleanliness of this hotel! And oh, the staff are extremely helpful, courteous & welcoming! Definitely coming back and bring my family & friends! read more

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon. My wife and I both lived in Hawai'i for years and were so excited to go back to the place where we met. Don't let the pictures fool you. You think you're getting a charming boutique hotel but what you're really getting is a hotel that started making upgrades but (maybe) never finished its renovation. We booked with a travel agency and we were promised a one bedroom suite with kitchenette. Now when I think of that, I think of bedroom with a separate living room/kitchenette space. What we actually got was a bedroom with a kitchenette. I can't fault the hotel for not being what the travel agency promised so we're taking that up with them and my review isn't based on that I thought I was getting a suite. Buckle up folks, here we go. There was nowhere to sit other than the bed and a rickety chair. The furniture was mismatched and some pieces were starting to fall apart. The safe was broken/ had no instructions. The mini fridge was certainly not what you'd expect from a room with a kitchenette (think of the smallest dorm room fridge you've ever seen). The room had air fresheners in every corner and two car clip fresheners on the AC unit. Without all of the air fresheners making the place smell like a Bath and Body, it reeked of wet dog. There was one outlet behind the bed and the other had a lamp and the router plugged in so you can choose between internet and light. The only other outlet was a massive power bar mounted to the desk. There were holes all over the walls as if something had been hung and they never repaired the walls after. There was black mold in the bathroom. BUT! They do have a bidet! Having never experienced that, I'd say that's where my sole star is coming from. I will say, though, that the lobby is small and always smells like oranges and looks clean and tidy so that was nice to walk in to every time. Before the hotel responds to this (if they do) I will also mention that after we complained about our room, they moved us to another (after sending staff members up to decipher if they could smell the funky smells we were smelling... surprise! They acted like they had no idea what we were talking about). The difference in the two rooms was that there were no holes in the walls from decorations (just an outlet sized one near the outlet) and no air fresheners (hence the dog smell and sometimes a bit of sewage). I spoke with my booking company and they said I'd have to speak with the manager. When I did she, quite rudely, asked what I wanted since they already moved us into a different room. Then she offered to refund our first $20 a night resort fee or we could check out by 11am (it was already 10am and we had a tour booked for 12noon across the island). Due to circumstances with the travel agency, we agreed to stay because they (the agency) were only going to refund us a fraction of what we paid to stay there. So we made do with what we had and just did our best to be there as little as possible. All of that said... the cherry on top happened during checkout. The manager had the audacity to sarcastically say to my wife... "oh! I thought you were going to check out" with such a big doodoo eating grin. So there's that. I also spoke with guests from two other rooms and they were all dissatisfied with their rooms but also had decided to make the best of a crappy situation... How can you continue to be mad in paradise right? read more

They could care less about any problems you have with the room, and will only remind you that they are not a 5 star hotel. If zero was an opinion I would've clicked that. Location of this hotel was good! It is near some restaurants, across the street are some shops, and it's a short walk to different smaller shopping centers and the Royal Hawaiian Center and the International Market Place. It is hidden so at drop off we couldn't find it, but there's a sign next to Ramen Nakamura and a shirt store called Moni. It is also a short walk to Waikiki Beach! The hotel room itself looks older than the photos pictured. The entryway is a tight space, the bathroom is smaller and the shower was kind of peeling due to water leaking from under the door, and the room had a bit of a dingy feel. We did like the balcony since we saw the street. The room had a kitchenette with a stove top, microwave, sink, Keurig, and sets of cups/bowls/plates/silverware. There was no room service for the week I was there and no ice machine; if you needed ice, you just ask and they give you some. We did not have a car so I cannot talk about the parking situation. When booked, we had no resort fees as we booked directly on their website. The employees were really nice and accommodating if we needed new towels, ice, etc. There are beach towels and beach chairs you can use and return by the end of day which was super helpful! We checked out at 11, but didn't have to go to the airport until 1, so the front desk held our luggage for us to explore a little longer, which was very appreciated. Was it a decent & safe place to sleep at night? Yes. Would I stay here again? If I was on a budget, sure. But if you have more money to spend and want a nicer experience, I would recommend staying elsewhere. read more

Awful experience! The cabinet in our room didn't shut so it was something we ran into on the daily. The fridge/freezer was constantly frozen so our food we purchased to save some money was ruined. The morning employee at the front desk was not friendly. Quite rude actually. Evening ladies were nice. The shower was freezing water for 5 minutes then turned to scolding hot water. There was not way to regulate it. My husband is a plumber and he said the water was not balanced. What sealed the deal for us was after we returned home we got a $58 charge. I called to find out why. I was told it was for late check out. I told her we left at 5 am to catch our plane. We did not leave late. She said "no mam I talked to you at 1 pm in the lobby, you did not checkout until 9pm." I explained to her that we were home at 7pm in Washington. She disagreed with me. I told her I had proof with my boarding passes and uber receipt. She said I could email that proof to them. I did that. She then said she didn't receive them. I had to do that once again. Then I was told to she would forward the information to her manager to see if she would approve it. I was livid at this point. Not so much about the money, but the time this was taking and how I was made to feel like we were lying. Finally received an email saying the refund was approved and I needed to call back with my credit card information to get the refund. Wouldn't they already have it since they charged my card the fees? Not one apology. We will not be staying there again. read more

We would have given zero if possible. The front desk staff didn't answer their phone upon arrival. This hotel does not offer parking onsite. We attempted to call several times to find out what to do upon arrival because the reservation states there is offsite parking for an additional charge. We had to park, walk to the hotel, wait for the agent to come out front and were told how the process works. We received the parking card for $35.00 per day. We were charged a resort fee daily but this is not a resort. No spa, weight room/exercise room, pool is a large bathtub that's not heated. No hot tub or any resort amenities whatsoever. The staff was unknowledgeable of the refund policies when we asked. This hotel does not offer daily maid service but only upon request. The maid staff was very nice. The website stated we would receive water bottles upon arrival but the desk agent said that's incorrect. The AC in the room worked poorly and was off when we arrived to the room. No view except the backs of the buildings surrounding. Because this is not a resort they should not advertise that on their website. There are several resorts within a one block radius that are true resorts. If you want to stay near the Waikiki action we highly suggest any other true resort. We paid for a resort and got a motel stay in return. Other similar choices were within a 300-500$ range above what we paid here for the week. If you're looking for price savings only with a motel feel, the Holiday Inn express is only 2 blocks inland and same fees. If you want a resort there are at least 12 better options for only a few hundred dollars more for the entire stay. Stay away from this motel if you want a nice pool and other basic resort amenities. read more

Before I made my reservation, I called the front desk and asked about parking fees. He said it's $20 and it comes with in and out privilege. Once I got there I found out that they DON'T EVEN HAVE PARKING!! NO VALET either!! We had to walk about 3-4 blocks to park our car.... They charge $24 a day and NO IN & OUT PRIVILEGE!!! :( I was already upset before we checked in... My kids were excited to swim in the pool after we check in.. but the pool was out of service!!!! What the hell??? Serious?? Once we walked into a room, my kids said ''Ewwwww this room smells weird...'' and we found some used eyelashes everywhere. Obviously they didn't clean well. Pictures on the web site looked very beautiful so we got this place but those pictures are not real! I see that they remodeled but I could see they didn't spend money on it. Cheap material, Fan and sink were broken, room is so small, coffee maker didnt work... etc Before I check out they asked me to pay extra $180 for the rooms.. I asked for receipt and she said no. The staff really made our stay impeccable. We stayed here exactly 1 week. We had a large group and they were able to keep us all together as much as possible. Some of the rooms are tinier than the others but they were clean and all had a small balcony. This is a smaller hotel so you don't get the picturesque view of the beach but it was so nice to have the balcony I like the kitchenette but feel they could have had more pots/pans to cook with. We were a large group so cooking saved us money. The hotel is clean, room service is quick and thorough. We had lost our car rental key and the hotel staff (not front desk, will get to this shortly) were so helpful with digging through laundry to help find it. Eventually it was found, dropped outside of the hotel (thank goodness no one picked it up and took off with the car lol). There were 2 main front desk staff that we worked with/ communicated with most throughout our stay. I believe her name is Ann (skinny, shorter, younger lady), she was always rude or very short with us. The only time she ever smiled or looked happy and greeted us, welcomly was when we checked out! When we lost our key, we talked to her and she never mentioned notifying her staff to keep an eye out for it or any assistance. We had to ask the hotel staff ourselves for help. She did not appear like she cared, she gave us a look of disgust as if we were inconveniencing her from standing at the front desk, doing nothing. HoWEVER, Honorie was fantastic! She was so welcoming, sweet, and always greeted us. She was sooo helpful and never made us feel like we were an annoyance. If not for her and the other hotel staff, this would have just been another hotel we stayed at but i can't say enough good things about her! Thank you honorie! There is a beach which is about a 5 minute walk but to the main part of waikiki beach, it is a 10 min walk. Shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. The hotel has a ton of items you can check out for the day such as beach towels, beach chairs, lawn chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, & coolers (a lot of which have been donated from previous guests, including us lol). The hotel does not have parking out front. The hotel uses a parking garage which is down the street, maybe 10 minute walk from the hotel. If you would like in and out privileges you have to pay an extra $10 and the garage closes at 10pm so if you plan to leave late or come back late, be careful. There is a loading/ unloading zone. read more

We booked a six night stay here through Orbitz and overall we were very satisfied. Our room was extremely clean, bed was very comfy, staff members working the front desk were very nice and helpful, and the price was cheaper than other hotels in the area. Also, if you need beach towels or chairs the hotel will lend you some which is a bonus. However, this is a fairly small hotel with only one elevator and one staff member working the front desk at a time. To add to that, their parking garage, King Kalakaua Plaza, is a short walk across the street. Fortunately, neither of these were really an issue for us, but things you should keep in mind if considering staying here. Their parking garage does fill up sometimes, so if you want to park there I suggest you ask ahead of time if they can save you a parking pass. They charge you for each day you keep the pass, which is collected at check out. We did not have a rental car our first two days and were dropped off on the side street, Beachwalk Dr, on arrival. I think the sign actually said no parking, loading or unloading, but was commonly used by guests staying here to load or unload their luggage. read more

I want to say thank you to the staff at the Polynesian residence especially to kiani she made our girls trip a breeze. Besides being very nice and cordial every time, she was kind enough to give us information on restaurants and local outings near by. The hotel is very nice and modern the rooms were up to date, only issue was sometimes it smelled musty. Regardless the place was great. Heads up you will need to make sure they have a pass for the parking structure (which you pay for daily rather than ever time you leave the structure/and sometimes it gets full but with the pass you won't have to worry) which is located across the street in front of the ritz. read more

We spent our honeymoon here and couldn't have been happier. The room was comfortable, close to everything (including the beach). The staff were friendly and responsive (when we had any issue, it was resolved right away). At the front desk, Diana and Honoree were exeptionally helpful and nice. The maid service was top-notch (Victoria couldn't have been more pleasant). And there was a pool that nobody used, so sometimes we would relax there all to ourselves. Decided to stay here with our 2 children under 3 and was happy with the service, the kitchenette, the swimming pool, and that it's in Waikiki so we could easily walk to international market place and all the shopping so conveniently. We rented a 15 seat vehicle as we had another family on our trip and the hotel has an outdoor parking garage for our vehicle parking. Would definitely stay here again. read more

Loved this place. Very clean and it a great location. I got an amazing deal and couldn't have been more happy. It's small but that's nice not so many guest. The hotel it's self seems a little old and they updated it some. This kept breaking down. Haven't been to the island in over 30 years and just stayed at this hotel for three nights and would definitely come back Nick at the front desk was so friendly I think my favorite part of this hotel is the free beach chairs they give you could be the most comfortable beach chair in my life. Housekeeping staff Jeffrey was also incredibly nice and was always there with the fresh clean towels and extra little soaps Kiana at the front desk always had a smile on her face and helped me out with Printing and Email and was great when we rented out the beach chairs read more

We were supposed to stay here for a week but ended up cancelling after 2 nights. As soon as me and my family stepped out of the elevator we can already tell that something is not right. It just does not feel and smell clean at all. The rooms are small and carpet does not look like it has been vaccuumed. The beds look unpolished. The pictures in yelp seemed like pictures when it was probably new but it doesnt look like it any longer. If you are looking for a relaxing and stress free vacation just pay more and stay closer to the beach. This hotel is close to shopping but you are in Hawaii for the beach so just pay the price and stay closer to the beach and ENJOY your vacation. read more

The false fire alarm keeps going off in the middle of the night. From 3:30am to 5:30am. At first everyone in the whole building went down the stairs, the firefighters came and told us there was false alarm. We went back to our rooms and were disturbed nearly every 20 minutes when the alarm would go off again and again. Nearly didn't have any sleep during the night and we just found out by talking to other people living there that this false alarm thing happened last week also. I'm exhausted and tired. read more

We'll arrived early around 2:30pm.... instead of 3pm check in time.. the lady at desk says room won't be ready until 3pm... I replied no problem, we'll be back, we're going to go eat and we'll be back. Came back around 3:30pm....and was given our key cards, we go to our room, to find out, housekeeping still I'm there cleaning, I keep hearing them spraying something And fragrance filling the hallway air. Finally around 4pm get in to the room. The Housekeeping lady and man were very friendly. So now that we're in the room and open the sliding glass doors to let some air in because between the fragrance spray in the room was nauseating, then as soon as we opened the bathroom there was a foul sewage smell coming from the air conditioning system. So we turned the air conditioner off and it helped with the foul smell of sewage. I was charged $97 versus $80 what I was told for hotel fees... The pool was probably the only good thing we enjoyed the most out of the hotel. When we weren't at the beach. There was 4 adults I'm my group and not to sound petty but we had to keep asking for toilet paper since we were only given 1 roll for a 5 day stay....we did ask for more and finally was given 2 more rolls... The elevator has a stuffy dirty closet smell to it. Lobby area is small but clean.... The Hotel itself including the room are nothing like the pictures that were posted on the Expedia page or the Hotels pictures either. Hawaii itself was amazing! read more

Overall impression: POSITIVE, great value for the price, and superb location. Pros: I liked the room decor and amenities (microwave, cook top, fridge). Little perks like Tommy Bahamas soaps and lotions in the bathroom, the bidet seat on the toilet [my first time using one], and complimentary water. Cons: I wasn't looking for an ocean view, but if that is important to you, they don't have one, traffic noise in my room, and even though I didn't drive, if I had rented a car parking would have been a problem. read more

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Polynesian Residences! It was perfect for what we needed- an affordable but nice stay in a good location. The staff was super nice and friendly, the pool area was very cute, and the room was exactly what we needed. It's super close to everything too, which is very nice. read more

This is a nice hotel with a great location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. My only complaint is that the room (and especially bathroom) smelled strongly of mildew. This was my friends second time staying here, and she said there was the same issue the first time she stayed here. The bathroom (although nice) is covered in mold; you can clearly see it in the shower. read more

We had a great stay. The staff was nice and friendly. They offer feee yoga on the weekend. The housekeeper Victoria was great as well. Room was clean and nice beds. Great location, walking distance to everything. You get a discount at some surrounding restaurants. And they provide beach chairs and towels at no additional charge. read more

Decided at the last minute to rent a hotel room for a couple nights during the Memorial Day weekend. Didn't want to spend a lot of $ but also didn't want a roach motel. Found this hotel, which I've never stayed at, but the location was ideal. More importantly, you can't always trust pictures off the internet because I think they only post perfectly staged rooms. But it looked quite updated with the amenities I was looking for. I called them directly and they only had 1 room available. Pros: The receptionist, Gloria, was very, very friendly and helpful and I was able to get it at kama'aina rate. Air con worked fine with no stinky, moldy smell. Cable and wifi worked great. Linens were clean. Like new mini fridge, micro & keurig. Cons: It took a while for the hot water to kick in when showering, but when it did, it was fine. And they don't have a parking garage, so you'd either have to find street parking or pay a daily or hourly rate at a public garage located across the street, which may be very inconvenient. But they sent a nice gentleman out to my car parked outside curb to help me unload my bags. Also, the pool was under renovation, so was not able to use. Overall, customer service was great, employees were friendly, and I had no problems during my stay. I liked that it was updated and clean! Even the hallway smelled nice! I wouldn't mind staying there again. read more

Pretty decent place to stay for cheaper. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They only have one elevator that's a little small, but we didn't have any issues with it. The only downside is the parking structure isn't attached to the hotel, it's down the street. read more

I absolutely love this place and can't wait to return. I live in Hawaii and every once in awhile like a getaway to Waikiki. This was a last minute decision and found this place by accident. Our room had a street view and I'm not sure if any of the rooms offer an ocean view, but it is in the middle of where all the action is, the room was extremely clean and plenty of space. The parking is a little strange because you need to park in a garage about a block away, but not a big deal. I don't believe you will find a better value in Waikiki and I have been to quite a few. read more

If I had the chance to do it all over again, I would not choose this place. I initially chose this place for the location and the kitchenette. However, upon arrival I found that the inconvenience of it all is not worth it. Rooms are very tight, dusty and dirty- we had a huge roach in our room! Parking, it's down the street in a parking structure-very inconvenient if your traveling with kids or lots of luggage, you can unload in front but you will be unloading in front of restaurants that are very busy and have tons of people on the main sidewalk. All the staff was very nice and accommodating, except Ann which I believe is the manager she is very sarcastic and doesn't have that hotel hospitality. The pool area is nice, but no onsite restrooms available, you need to go back to your room if you need to use, and no trash cans. Overall, just book somewhere else! You will be glad you did. It actually isn't cheaper either, because they hit you with all the hidden fees at the end. read more
