The team came out early in the week to try to repair (with great effort), but by Thursday, we knew it would need to be replaced. Put in a new pool 10 years ago; from the start it was a process of finding then replacing weekly pool services and occasional pool pump/equipment providers. Pool servicemen were usually good for a while and would eventually become unreliable. Whenever there was a problem the serviceman would blame the equipment and technicians, and vice-versa. Since we found The Pool Pros (who now take care of EVERYTHING - weekly service AND equipment issues/replacement) owning a pool has once again become a delight and totally enjoyable. Poor! They do not do the service they say they will do once a week. Service provided mostly here for 5-10mins. Impossible to accomplish all the pool care in that short of time. Customer service very poor, especially if you have questions! I would rate them a big zero. I have been with Pool Pros since 2020. I have ALWAYS had excellent service and the best part is the communication. I appreciate how communicative they are with me anytime I try to reach out to anyone. It's just so happens that I have urgent problems on the weekend when I have a pool party scheduled but they are ALWAYS there to help even in the off hours. This place has terrible customer service. The pool cleaners are nice but outside of that, appointments are never kept appropriately. They keep you waiting around all day without a call, text, or email. At least cable companies give you a 4 hour window. The worst service ever! Four times a month, once a week, you guys absent three times a month! You guys never forget to collect payment every month but forget do you job every time! Called you guys a hundred and thousand times for pool and fountain cleaning service, but nobody ever responded! Why do you guys even operate a pool service company? ! Check these evidences! Your service made my pool like toilet sink! My fountain motors damaged and destroyed almost every two month! Why? Trash and leaves stocked into these motors! If you guys did your job, it would never happened! $750 replace one motor, more than $2,000 replace three of them and you guys' been asking me to pay for the replacement all the fucking time! I highly do not recommend using this company . They don't seem to keep their staff very long so you will loose your guy and they will not tell you about the changes . Suddenly no one is showing up and then another week maybe another guys is in your backyard. I was gone for 3 weeks and came back and the pool was not looking good at all. Then I called the manager Alex and he said his guy is doing his job . The skimmer was full of leaves and on top of that toys from the kids . The problem is my kids have not been there for over 3 weeks so they have not cleaned it for the whole time :) He still did not agree he's guy was not doing his job and he was very arrogant. This is repulsive! My pool and fountain looks extremely dirty and disgusting. The water is all brown, murky, and filled with weird substances! I couldn't even go near the pool without wanting to throw up! Even worse, I was too busy to do anything to fix my pool! I had to watch my pool degrade everyday and it angers me that I wasted my time and money for nothing. They kept promising me that they'll do their jobs, but they are scammers! I'm not kidding! These guys literally took my money and dipped! Like- what can I even do XD??? The worst part is, I constantly contacted them, and they kept making excuses and basically demanded more money! I am beyond baffled and appalled. I saw some good reviews here and assumed that "Oh hey! They must be pretty good at their jobs. Pool Pros? It's in their name." But yikes... They did not do their name justice! They should be called "Pool Ghosts", because they are disappearing with my hard earned money. This is actually a rare time that I wrote a bad review; I never felt so much resentment in my life. This company is the opposite of reliable and professional; They shouldn't even accept my money if they can't handle their job! This place doesn't know how to hire which is very obvious from the amount of missed cleanings/fake cleanings; to the reviews online and the amount of employees that go through there. I don't think they could hire a fat guy to eat donuts. Neil and Shawn I think run the place and seem as though they are clouded by their less than mediocre job titles getting to their heads. Do not use The Pool Pros for repairs. Their sister company Sunbright redid the plaster and plumbing work about 5 years ago for our pool. We have been complaining for 2 years about nodules growing at the bottom of the pool. Pool pros kept telling us that it was algae which it wasn't. Nobody from Sunbright has come out to look at the problem and neither company has offered solutions. The nodules grew from about 10 to now 40 large nodules. You can't walk in the pool without cutting your toes. Now they are tell us the pool has to be replastered. They said they can acid wash and grind down the nodules. But that is a temporary solution. They basically said we are SOL because the plaster warranty was only for a year. The pool never had this problem before. We think it was the workmanship. How can new plaster fail so quickly? We will not give them our business again! Replastering is not cheap!!! We will no longer use Pool Pros for our monthly service either. read more
