Like a lot of the other reviews the place is clean, fun and has great service. The only reason I'm rating it at three stars is because their food is subpar. The ideas on the menu are good but the execution I feel is lacking. I got the French toast Nashville chicken and there wasn't really one part of the sandwich I enjoyed. The bread was overly soggy and lacked flavor. The chicken was really chewy and had no "Nashville" flavor at all. Potatoes on the side were unseasoned. We also got the Mac and cheese which was good but lacking flavor. The drinks were very good. We will probably be back to hopefully find better things on the menu. read more

Well we thought we were going to have a nice Sunday family brunch but this is obviously the wrong place. The booth we sat in smelled like urine. It was disgusting. Ordered scrambled eggs - because even though they say they have brunch, they only serve eggs on the side, no omelettes or anything and the eggs were terrible. Yes, the eggs were terrible. The service also lacked quite a bit. We had our food about 10 mins before we got someone's attention to give us silverware. Overall a bar, not a brunch or food establishment. read more

I went to the porch one evening and was excited to try their food, hungry and eager to try something new. Food did not disappoint and Carolina Reaper was soooo good if you love spicy food! The only disappointment was the service, they had a guy names Jake serving 10 different tables and obviously we were not the excited bunch that needed soda attention. We asked for the table ping pong balls and they never given it to us. After asking the 3rd I went to a different outdoor game. We were in town for the Kings game (and they beat the Coyotes so it was not a wasted trip. Hooray!) and as The Porch was one of our friends' regular hangouts we had to try it. We were seated very quickly in spite of it being 'peak time' but I think a few parties ahead of us may have passed on outdoor seating. They do have heaters next to the tables so it was not a big deal to be sitting outside on a brisk late-winter evening. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the drinks coming, and unlike some places they did not skimp on the alcohol. I like that. When I order an Old Fashioned I want an Old Fashioned, I do not want a glass of orange or cherry-flavored ice water. For nibbles we ordered some Porch Poppers, Fried Pickle Spears, Waffle Tenders, and two orders of wings, buffalo, and carolina reaper. The Poppers were pretty standard fare, the Fried Pickle Spears and Waffle Tenders were very good, and the reaper wings were very tasty. I ended up eating three of the four reaper wings because our friend tapped out after the first one, and neither my wife or our other friend wanted to try them. They were hot but not crazy hot. My ears weren't ringing and I didn't even get the hiccups, not even after eating three of them. I don't know if they skimped a little on the reaper peppers in a misguided attempt to save us, but if they did I'm disappointed. Everyone knows what the Carolina Reaper pepper is, or they should, so if we're stupid enough to order anything reaper-flavored please don't try to protect us; if we're ordering heat, you need to bring the heat. FWIW I've eaten the Hot sandwich from Howlin' Rays, and it was hot but not "This was a mistake" hot. I've also had medium-spice level curry from Spices Thai in Arcadia and their medium is ear-ringing hot. Or maybe they were just a little heavy handed with their spice that day. Anyway, after downing three reaper wings, I could have gone more. They were hot but also tasty; a great combination. We were a little disappointed at the end of the evening, or at least I was when I tried to order some Churro Style Donut Holes and discovered they were all out. I'll just have to get some next time. And there will be a next time. Because that's what you want to know, right? Would we eat there again? Yes, we will. Maybe when the Coyotes are hosting the Kings again ;) read more

First time eating here. I had the porch burger my son had a bacon cheeseburger and my other boy had chicken strips. I thought the burger was very good; not too big of a bun like ohso brewery or four peaks. Great atmosphere and prices seemed about normal in comparison to similar places. I will go back. Fried pickle lovers! I am originally from the South, and have been looking for a year for fried pickles that reminded me of home. I finally found it! The friend pickles at the porch are crispy, and still have that pickle flavor. Maybe a touch a greasy but that's okay.
