Ate at this place one night around 8pm because we didn't realize Bossier City closes restaurants so early. The process here (at least when we went) is order at the counter, get seated and then the food is delivered to you. So, service is kind of lacking due to no real waiter/waitress. I got the crawfish etouffee and the bread was really good. The etouffee itself might have been sitting there too long... a definitely some overcooked crawfish but it had a good flavor. Maybe earlier in the day would have been better? Overall, our entrees were fine but neither of us finished them and didn't like them enough to take the rest to go. This place fit the need for dinner but I'd actually recommend the burger place next door for better service and food. read more

Honestly for the price, the food isn't worth it. The fried fish is good, superb even. The fried shrimp and oysters are meh. The shrimp étouffée sauce is alright and the shrimp for it is bad. The hushpuppies are meh too. The fries are great. You can request additional sauce like honey mustard. It's kind of out of poorly placed. Like it's in a hotel so it's mainly for the hotel residents to eat at. But additionally, it isn't enclosed so you get the rest of the hotel sounds. They do keep the tables clean. Service was fine. They have a counter for you to order food and you just walk up and ask if you need anything. It just didn't feel like a restaurant of its price point for all the above points. read more

This food was delicious, they have fresh oysters you can get cooked any way you'd like, seafood, fish, etc all made to order. The oysters are delicious per my family (I don't eat oysters) and they got orders of it every night. I got the swamp fries, they were smothered with shrimp etouffee and they were so good, the portion is big enough to share, I couldn't finish it all myself. Charbroiled Shrimp salad was so flavorful! The shrimp were easy to peel the tail off and spiced just right. I chose the balsamic dressing and it went well with our Crawfish tails and Calamari. The dip was yum but would have been top notch had it been warm all the way thru. Speaking of, husbands etoufee was cold, not even room temp, chilly like someone forgot to press start on the cooking source. Maybe we caught it on a bad night, but the food was awful. The fried fish was undercooked and the baked potato wasn't cooked through. Oh mannnn. I got blindsided by the food here. I ordered half a dozen raw oysters on the half shell, and the shrimp boil. To preface, I've had both of these many times at other establishments and at home. Oysters came out- big, a few had come off the shell into the ice. Not a reason to fly off the handle, but interesting presentation, along with the lemons that looked like they had already been squeezed a few times. I slipped the first oyster into my mouth and...YOOO. It was warm and tasted like sewage. I chewed a few times, but I ended up spitting it into a napkin. It really tasted like it had turned. I'm not dramatic when it comes to food- I don't remember the last time I had to spit something out because it was that bad, but it was horrible. Shrimp boil- well, it was boiled. It came with three potatoes and a corn on the cob. It was completely tasteless. Just boiled with butter, no salt, and ZERO seasoning. Usually tasteless potatoes can be salvaged with a little salt, but these also tasted old. The corn was so over cooked, it was gummy. I didn't finish either of those. The shrimp- and this was very surprising given the state of literally everything else- were cooked perfectly. They didn't have any flavor, but I dipped them in the cocktail sauce from the oysters and they were decent enough to finish. The second star is for Summer, who was running the bar and basically front of the house by herself. She was fast and still attentive, and quickly told me she'd take the oysters off my tab when I told her they were not good. Very friendly and professional. She kept this experience from being a complete trainwreck. If you're looking for fresh, tasty seafood- keep looking. It's not here. read more

I have to agree completely with the other review. This is an expensive dining option that has no class and bad food. The Food: Chargrilled oysters were nothing but rubber knots they were so overcooked. crab cakes were mediocre at best and were overcooked on one side. The shrimp etouffee was actually crawfish and was decent with a nice, toasty piece of French bread. Order at a walkup counter window, get a number, get your own drinks including beer, wine or cocktails. The "bartender" struggled to know how to make an Old Fashioned and the spirits selection was very underwhelming. With a "Long John Silvers" atmosphere I expect less expensive fare. 1/2 dozen chargrilled oysters, lunch portion of shrimp etouffee, and crabcake appetizer (3) was over $50. The flavor was good, but the shrimp had a weird texture, kind of soft & mealy. My husband had the gumbo & although it was decent, he wasn't impressed. It was a high dollar meal, but a walk up order, fast food type of environment. It didn't end up fast, though. We actually got our entrees & were almost done before we got our oysters. THE PORT SEAFOOD AND OYSTER BAR, (not dare pool). My husband and I went to grab some fresh seafood because this place looked the best. We came in and ordered some crab legs and boiled shrimp. $85 later and tip, we were exciting and ready for our seafood boil. When our food came out my shrimp looked raw and unseasoned. I took a bite and immediately knew they were not cooked all of the way. It tasted old and fishy, I gagged. I had my husband taste one to make sure I wasn't being dramatic. My husbands crab legs were as small as a 5 year olds hand, those also tasted like frozen crab legs, not fresh like they advertised. We decided that we were not even going to take another bite or else we would have vomited on the table. I went up to the young girl worker and asked to speak with a manager nicely. I believe in giving everyone a chance first, no need to rip their heads off. But of course now a days no one can take any type of criticism. The cooks came up to the worker who I talked to a few minutes later and they were saying "it is f'in fresh, they just don't know what they are talking about" etc. Talking crap about my husband and I so clearly right by the register. They called the manager and she went to a further register away from us and just refunded the money. She didn't take the time to come ask us what happened or if we wanted to have them cook it again. 20 mins go by and I went up to the register again and asked what was going on and if the manager was coming to talk to us. We got the response "she refunded your money" and that was it. We should've known not to eat there when the place was empty. That place, the workers, and the crappy manager are rude and gross towards customers. Good luck if you eat there. Was lucky we didn't get food poisoning. 0/10 read more

DO NOT EAT HERE. brand new place and cute but the food is TERRIBLE. literally 12 tiny, rubbery, frozen shrimp with no flavor. Lots of margarine covering them but potatoes and shrimp are absolutely tasteless for $19. Crab legs are just as bland, tiny and covered in imitation butter as well. $9.99 for a luke warm baked potato. Do yourself a huge favor and go get a real dinner at Binions, don't waste $70 on this garbage! read more
