Chicken and waffles pizza and salad
    Macauley N.

When the pizza of the month is chicken and waffles, you have to go! Consistently, fast, delicious. Chicken and waffles is sweet, salty, chewy, crunchy, everything. The maple syrup drizzle balances the salty crispy crust and spicy chicken. Bardstown road location is perfect for pickup and takeaway orders. Salad is fresh and ranch is delicious!

Note, this is a large to-go box, shown to give perspective on these hearty slices!

Note for clarity, this is a review for the Bardstown Rd location only...though I can attest the food quality is the same at each location! Delicious NY-style pizza. You can get a whole pie, but it's well worth going by the slice (always pepperoni, cheese, and a slice of the day selection). Very fairly priced and plenty filling in their foldable goodness! Decent selection of mostly craft beer too, which can be taken to go. This is a counter service spot. Folks are friendly. Space is small (it's geared to carry-out and delivery), but there are a couple of tables and some counter space if you're inclined to dine in. Solid spot!

When first entering I notice that it's filled with decor and just something to look at, at every corner. The service at the bar is quick & all the way to the back outdoors is where they had their event with the boil and chill people that would chat with anyone. I was apprehensive about going alone, but it was such great exposure therapy especially since everyone was so kind & talkative! When I went up to get my serving I didn't know seasoning it was even an option, but I got it each time!! They scooped a generous amount for me & tossed it in a Vietnamese chili sauce, it was phenomenal. I've never eaten it that way before, but glad to experience it! The servings were huge & they allowed me to get 3 helpings!!! When talking with the locals I was told they do free dinners numerous nights, and would love to visit again! Such a great time!

Atmosphere is perfect dive bar. But was amazed that when I ordered a Manhattan, came in a nick and nora glass and pretty sure she used Cochi Torino for the vermouth! Very unexpected and was one of the best drinks I have had in Louisville. Wife ordered a gimlet that was awesome. Looking forward to going back!

A french bistro is not complete without bread service. The bread and butter here? Fabulous. Lovely, airy, bread with just the right pinch of salt and flavor is accompanies with traditional, creamy butter and a garlic herb variety as well. The steak was cooked to perfection. And the trout almondine was so rich and flavorful, I absolutely reccomend adding a side to help soak up all that flavor. Definitely a new go-to spot!

My sister and I ordered an espresso martini. It's got a lemon peel in it. Decent. Didn't need the acid from the lemon peel but it was a nice touch! We also shared the mixed greens salad. Not really unique regarding the flavor profile. But it was nice and light! All 3 of us got the cheeseburger. You can have it cooked pink or well done. It's a juicy burger! Def good for one. Not enough to share with someone. The fries were decent and you can choose a sauce with them. My friend chose ketchup, I got truffle, and my sister got garlic aioli. Delicious! But the fries got salty paired with the truffle sauce after a while. We did get takeout boxes, which they pack for you but I wish I had checked that they packed the sauces to go but they didn't...a little disappointing. Didn't realize this til I got home. I should've told our server but I assumed we would get our sauces packed for us. Great vibes though! Would love to come back and try apps.

Well mixed drinks in a plant store? Sign me up!…read more Pretty Decent? You're being modest. Half novelty plant shop, half clear alcohol bar, this place is better than decent. There isn't a ton of seating, but like I said, it's still a store. The menu leans heavily on tequila, gin, vodka and other clear liquors, so most of the drinks lack color but are very flavorful; alcohol forward as well. Staff was helpful in finding something to choose. The environment is calm, relatively quiet, but overall really relaxed. This would be a great place to go with friends and enjoy each others' company.

I've been a few times now and it's always very chill and relaxing, and I love the music selection. When you walk in the plant shop is in the front and the bar is in the back. I recommend heading to the bar, grabbing a delicious hand crafted cocktail and relaxing for a bit. However if you're super eager to shop grab a cocktail to enjoy while you walk around the store. I've only ever had the Carajillo bc it's so damn good. It's light, refreshing and delicious. It consists of dark matter cold brew, Licor 43, Paranubes Cafe de Olla, Alma Tepec pasilla chile liqueur, hazelnut, cinnamont. They have the best mezcal by the bottle selection which I believe you can purchase some online. While sitting at the bar, I noticed all the bottles neatly displayed on the shelf behind the bar and none of the labels are ones I've ever seen before. In addition to being able to shop for plants, they also offer Plant workshops that you can sign up for online! Some of the workshops include a price for two people so pay attention to what you're signing up for. And if you happen to get hungry and need a snack, they also offer a few light bar snacks that consists of chips and salsa, spicy oaxacan peanuts, spicy pickled carrots, and Nemi Mexican lime crunchy snack.
