    Shrimp bucatini

Went here for dinner on Saturday . They don't take reservations so we had a 40min wait. Once we were seated it was another hour before we got our food. They said they had a party of 20 come in & were behind. Onto the food. 3 of us ordered the shrimp bucatini, it was good. It had marinated tomatoes, asparagus & topped with a parmasen cream sauce. It was very good, but unfortunately mine was not very hot & didn't have enough sauce. We already waited so long, didn't want to send back. Husband had pork chop over kimchi. He said very good & I had a bite, was good. Parking is limited & go early or expect to wait.

Rainy night so I decided to try the place that had good reviews and menu and was across the street from the barber shop. Started with a scotch egg and a lavender caipirinha. The bar tender, Will, was very welcoming and made great suggestions for food. Music was a good mix of 80's/90's (Rage, Jimmy Meets World, Lumineers, etc.) Off to a great start with the Lavender Caipirinha. Scotch egg is amazing. The sausage is tasty, egg soft boiled perfectly and the mustard sauce and greens made it even better. Next I went a different than I envisioned. Eggplant Parmesan with loaded fries; Strange combo but excited for it to arrive.... The eggplant had some interesting flavors. The spicy red pepper sauce, arugula with lemon, and toasted rolled. The loaded fries had cheese and bacon so I asked for some ranch. Good place for drinks or dinner. Thanks!

We stopped by on our way through town. Due to the time change from Central to Eastern, we were the last table in for brunch at a little after 2. We had great service and the food was great. The hash browns covered in pimento cheese were delicious but could have been hotter. My Monte Christo was perfect in every way. It was lightly breaded battered, served piping hot, oozing cheese. The raspberry dipping sauce was excellent. The mushroom Benedict was amazing. It used lions mane mushrooms and was super tasty. The drinks were great and very reasonably priced. It's a bar atmosphere so they had a great play list going but it was loud if that's not your thing. I'd definitely eat here for brunch or come for drinks at night when I was in Tallahassee again

Smash Burger with bacon and cheese, no bun with house burger sauce, dressed greens and amazing homemade pickles.

So yummy. Everything was cooked to perfection, I also got the pasta but didn't take a photo. The ambiance was sweet and classy. I had a great dining experience! The waiter was so kid, i will definitely be coming here again :)

    Stuffed flounder

Amazing food and great service. Cozy gastopub. Well done! I had the stuffed flounder with risotto that was the best in my opinion and recommended by Zach our waiter. He was excellent and very attentive. Great relaxed atmosphere. Just what we were looking for!

We went on a Monday afternoon for dinner. The food was good, not the best thing I've ever had but enjoyable. They have a limited menu overall but we were able to find something to appeal to our different taste. The service was good and the overall restaurant has a good vibe. Nice place for a drink or shareable plate in a comfortable atmosphere

Food was good but had moved to late night menu early because business was slow and had sent some staff home. They got very busy right after we ordered so service was extremely slow. My wife ordered a pina colada that was not very good and cost $17.00. Note to self should have asked price before ordering.

Espresso martini, RBF (Hibiscus, Rye, Gin, honeysuckle, egg white), Strawberry Fields
    Jayme L.

The espresso martini was soooo good and not bitter at all! Perfectly balanced. The staff was clearly overwhelmed with the weekend crowd but it didn't affect the drinks. Perhaps even a little snappy, and not just one person either. Vibes are good though, might be better for dinner and drinks instead of just drinks.

One of the better spots in town for sure. I recommend making a reservation as it was pretty busy. The inside was cute not too loud. There wasn't much availability for walk in so we sat at the bar. The steak frites were delicious although it took some time to come out. The drinks were also very good and strong.

Though you cannot enjoy a cigar inside they have a nice covered area outside the lounge. Spirit availability was impressive for the size lounge. I was interested in Redbreast Irish Whiskey and they had 12, 15, and wow 21!!! The lounge inside was what I consider small, bar seating, and some table and comfortable chairs. The outside area was covered. Comfortable chairs with tables and ashtrays to handle about 25+/-. Two TV's. There are standing fans and heaters. There was no service to the outside area, so you picked-up your choice of spirit and got comfortable outside. We enjoyed our spirit and cigars with no one complaining about the smoke. It happened to be a very rainy night and the north area was a bit flooded, but no leaks from above. Pro Great selection of spirits. Cigar and I think cigarettes, evidence by butts in the ashtrays, are allowed outside. The inside lounge was very clean, as well as the two unisex bathrooms. Con The flooded area was unfortunate, but there was only three of us, and it didn't cause an issue. The Ashtrays had been mostly emptied, but not wiped down. Really not inviting to rest your cigar on a dirty ashtray. An easy wipe with a microfiber goes a long way. Not really a Con, but there was no Service outside on the Tuesday night we visited. Overall a nice experience for a dreary night. My friends and I will return, hopefully on a nicer evening. Note: If you don't bring your own cigar, the liquor store has a small selection available right next door.

**Review: Solid Steak Dinner at The Edison**…read more I had a pleasant dinner at The Edison recently and walked away satisfied, especially with the food. Service was just okay--nothing terrible, but the appetizers definitely took longer than expected to come out. That said, our server was genuinely good: friendly, knowledgeable, and checked on us at the right moments without being overbearing. The appetizers were worth the wait. Both the fried green tomatoes and the crab appetizer were excellent--fresh, flavorful, and nicely executed. For the main course, the steak was spot-on: tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly as ordered. The potatoes that came with it were also really good--creamy and tasty without being heavy. We ended the meal with the bread pudding, and it was one of the best parts of the night. It was done perfectly: warm, moist, and full of rich, comforting flavor that didn't feel overly sweet. All in all, The Edison delivers on the food front. If you're after a reliable steak with some standout starters and a strong dessert, it's a solid choice. Ambiance was good, love the historic building. I'll definitely be back for the steak and bread pudding. Recommended!

I had recently heard that this place is a Michelin notable and now I know why. Don't be fooled by the nondescript, gray exterior, the inside is adorable and cozy. Valet is complementary which is a nice touch. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Service is incredibly quick from the time you order to when you receive your meal. Food was absolutely delicious. Hubby and I ordered a few appetizers as well as the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The appetizers we chose were the charred octopus and the fire roasted oysters. Both were wonderful but the octopus was a standout. For the tasting menu, it changes daily and is 4 courses with a dessert course to round out the meal. Ours happened to include: Sausage w olive tapenade, Filet w tomato and veggie chow chow (so tasty), Duck tostada w avocado crema, Elk filet w hasselback potatoes and asparagus (show stopper), and Orange rice pudding w pistachio cookie crumble which was such a nice, light way to end the meal. One thing to note: they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill which is split between all front of house and back of house staff. Anything you leave above this will go directly to your waiter. There is a card they leave when they drop off the bill that explains this more eloquently than I am but I found it to be unique that they openly discuss it instead of adding it to the bill with no notice or explanation.

A great gathering spot! I liked it so far. We walked in the doors, looked for a spot at the bar to sit (to the left) and was greeted immediately, WaY to GO Bar Staff! We ordered a few drinks - I tried a specialty cocktail named, "Champs-Elyssee" - it was a great ! Then, we talked with the bartender a bit and went about enjoying our girls night out. I snapped a photo of the menu because each dish that was served to other customers looked really good. Moistened my palate and smelt good too!
