The recommendation at that time was that it was THE place to go. Now I live close by and have had several great interactions with the knowledgeable, friendly and extraordinarily helpful staff of both the power equipment and hardware sides of the store. Last year we bought a zero turn cub and it was a huge purchase for us. From sales to delivery the process was easy peasy. None of that prompted my taking just a little time to write this. It is mid-winter, so the mower is not exactly top of mind. I received a recall notice from Cub Cadet and figured it would be something I would deal with in spring. A week or so goes by and I get a call from Kimps saying that my mower has a recall and asking when I can have it available for them to pick up to handle it. Wow, just wow. There is no question about the fact that the issue showed up a few weeks after install. I don't know what happened to it.  Nobody in my family knows what happened to it.  I can tell you this.  I've never seen carpet do that before.   Not even the 15 year old carpet we just had replaced to have carpeting sold to us by Home Depot and made by Mohawk.  I'm 53 years old and I always had carpeting in my house.   I travel for a living.  I never seen any disgusting hotel carpet to that.     Who whatever thought that you go into your local Home Depot to purchase carpeting and installation,  that your are going to wind up being screwed by them because you have been sold some poorly made carpet!

A female employee informed us that they just had one returned by someone but it's the larger Predator 3500 which was really expensive. I asked if could get a discount for it being a return and she said, No it was never taken out of the box and everything is in the box. She stated, it was inspected and never used. After looking at it we decided to purchase it. We asked the guy at the register if I needed to buy oil, so he asked that same female employee who stated no there is oil in the box. We go buy gas and get to Legend Lake. It night, no lights other than flashlights and were trying to get our camp gear and pop up together. I get the generator out in excitement, ready to light the place up! Check the oil dipstick and its wet, empty but wet. Feel it and its oil, how could there be oil on it but it was never taken out of the box? Smell the gas taken and there was definitely gas in it before. The gas odor was strong. The bottom of the tank even looked wet. Remember we have gas but we were told oil was in the box, well there is no oil in the box for the generator that supposedly was never taken out of the box. The nearest gas station is closed, so we had to leave our stuff and drive 30 minutes away to find a open store. Not cool at all! I trusted the employee and I should not have!
