    I would like to add an update to my previous review. Not only did I receive poor customer service that time I called in about the bubbling on my back windshield at the time their receptionist would hang up on me when I was asking questions as to why it bubbled that bad and why it was even more with "warranty" to fix their initial poor job. I just managed to take my vehicle to get retinted as the tint was even worse and the tinter explained to be that the tint used on my vehicle was not mad for cars and they had used the incorrect adhesive damaging my window.

    Just got my back tints done and they turned out amazing! Excellent work from John and great customer service from him and Rafael. I will be recommending them to everyone. Worth every penny! Thank you guys!!

    Bubble everywhere.

    This shop was recommended to me so I went in with good expectations - it has turned into the worst. I took my RAV4 in for window tint on the two front windows and also the windshield. First time I went in, the employee acted as if helping me was an imposition, when I got my car back it looked ok, he said the bubbles were normal and would go down within 24 hours. About a month later, the windshield STARTS TO PEEL from the corners on the drivers side, I went back in, different employee who also had the worst customer service. He never called me to go back for my car, I realized they were going to close and I headed back. I asked him to sign off on the original receipt that I brought my car back in and he argued that he did not have to do that. It wasn't until my brother stepped in the conversation that he made a note on the receipt. The second time HE SCRATCHED MY CAR, and the ends of the windshield were cut very haphazardly - it legitimately looks like I did it myself with an Amazon kit. If you want to throw away 300$ go on into The Preferred Image, but I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

    This place has an outstanding customer service and holds an integrity. The manager (Raphael) offered and suggested what level grade for my car windows to be tinted. Plus, made room for my car to be available be service. If you're around looking for service and quality...I highly recommend this place and ask for Raphael.

    Obviously bad cutting and they didn't even put time into smoothing out the edges.

    I got my windows tinted 15 years ago and the film is still in very good condition, no bubbles.

    Took my 2020 Porsche 911 here to get the sound system upgraded. Felipe suggested changing the…read morespeakers and adding an amp, both from JL Audio. Total cost was about $6k and I went ahead and did it. After I got the car back, I was disappointed as the sound quality was about the same as before or perhaps marginally better. Additionally, there was rattling in the door panels and I would also hear an occasional popping noise. I mentioned both of these to Felipe. Additional sound deadening was added for the rattling, but the popping noise couldn't be resolved. Even after the additional sound deadening was added, there would still be rattling in the door panels. A couple months later, I moved down to LA and decided to bring the car into another shop down in LA. The shop informed me that the speakers used are JL Audio C2 speakers which are OEM replacement speakers. They told me they are not sure why anyone would replace the stock speakers with those as they are not much of an upgrade. Additionally, the new shop said what my system needed was a Nav TV device to convert the audio to digital output as well as add a DSP (digital sound processor). They said it is clear that the previous installer (i.e. Felipe) does not know much about car audio given the recommendations that were made. To make matters worse, when the new shop started working on my car they informed me that a number of things were broken such as the clips that hold down the center piece of the backseat and other clips throughout the car. The feedback was that the overall work was shoddy. I trusted Felipe with my car and the net result was a sound system that wasn't an upgrade. I spent $6k spent for nothing, wasted my time, and the worst part is I now have damaged components throughout my car. I have since spent an additional $8k on top of what I paid Felipe to redo the sound system entirely. Felipe is a nice guy and it was nice to work with him. He did help me install a dash cam on my other car and from what I can see that installation was fine. However, for car audio systems, I would not recommend Felipe.

I had a friend…read morewho recently purchased an Alpine ILx509 halo head unit, AudioControl D-5.1300D Series 5-channel amplifier, and a JL Audio 10TW3-D4 10" subwoofer in a JL Stealth Box for his 2023 Toyota Pro. He had previously sold his 4Runner for an F250 and had all of these brand-new and almost plug-and-play components. There were a few Maestro units that I had to use to utilize some of the stock controls. Additionally, one item was defective and brand new, and they were able to get it warrantied. They also had to reflash my Maestro RR because it was specified to a JBL audio system and had to be a non-JBL system. Previously, I had upgraded the stock speakers with Focal all around. I visited CA Car Sounds and informed them about my requirements. It took a few trips to determine if I needed any additional components that were not already installed. They provided me with a quote, which was reasonable given the complexity of the work. They mentioned that they would need the vehicle for 1-2 days, which was acceptable to me. I wanted the work to be completed without any rush. My specific needs were to have the amplifier bolted to a plate under the passenger seat and to avoid bolting the amplifier to the floorboard if possible. I also wanted to use the same SiriusXM stock antenna on my vehicle and retain my stock microphone as well as the steering wheel controls. I was somewhat apprehensive about how the setup would sound, but I was assured by Raymond, Austin, and others that I would not be disappointed with the Stealth box and the subwoofer. When I picked up my vehicle, Raymond accompanied me through the controls and demonstrated how it sounded. I was thoroughly satisfied. Everything looked and sounded excellent.     I worked with California Car Sounds to plan an installation of Focal speakers in my truck. We…read morediscussed the setup in advance and agreed on a specific product and installation plan. When I dropped the truck off and later picked it up, I was told after the fact that they had installed a completely different set of speakers because the Focal speakers I had purchased were back ordered by about a week. Instead of calling or texting to ask whether I wanted to wait or reschedule, the shop decided on its own to install a different brand and type of speaker without my consent. This is not acceptable. As a result, I had them remove everything and return the truck to stock. My weekend was spent shuttling the truck back and forth, the door panels were removed twice, and I am left exactly where I started weeks ago except with wasted time and frustration. What is hardest to understand is the decision making process. There was no phone call, text, or email before making a material change to the agreed upon work. Installing a different product without customer approval is baffling. Unfortunately, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    My brother and I have been going to Guru Electronics for our Car audio & Electronics needs for over…read more20 years. My last car was rear ended & considered a total-loss. I replaced it with a used Subaru Impreza that didnt come with a reverse camera. My mom uses the car alot, so she's going to need the reverse camera :) I arrived 15 minutes before closing on Friday and since I didnt want to keep them after closing, basically told them what model car I just bought, and what I was looking for. Double din head unit w/ reverse camera, and some aftermarket replacement door speakers. They asked if I wanted to keep the steering wheel control functions, which I did... so he mentioned what else I needed in order to keep them functional with the new stereo. He asked if Android Auto / Apple play is important to me, and if i wanted it wired/wireless. This day in age, we want everything wireless and convenient, so I said yes to the wireless feature! I mentioned I was interested in component speakers for the front doors, and he suggested where to install the tweeters, and also told me I would need some mounting plates for the dashboard for the tweeters. This way I dont have to drill a hole in the door panel. All in all... Its nice to have someone ask the right questions to ensure I had everything I needed to complete the installation over the weekend, because I would not have had the tweeter mounts if he didnt ask about my installation. I would like to mention that I wanted to have everything I needed for the weekend installation project, so I didnt check around for lower prices, but when I got home... the "Asian habits" in me decided to check prices on Amazon, and Guru's prices were either on par... or slightly below Amazon's prices! I didn't know what to expect coming here... I waited at the front of the garage for about 15 minutes. There was a guy smirking in the front, doing something with cables, 2 other people working on a car, and another guy going in and out doing some kinda repair work on a truck outside. None of them said hi to me. But I know they all saw me. It was very weird. Finally after about 10 minutes of waiting (I figured maybe the owner was on lunch, since this was about 1pm), I walked up to the smirking guy and asked if the owner was here. Then he just nodded and pointed to the right, which was a very small aisle BEHIND a big stack of boxes. It was very off-putting. But I was here, and I had a time crunch. The actual owner was nice... he asked about my car, and then showed me some models. I made a purchase, and he told me to come back in 2 hours. I walked to a nearby Carls Jr, about 7 mintues away. 2 hours later, right on the dot, I get a call to get my car, and they close sharp at 4:30p. The same guy who was walking in and out (remember fixing the truck), was the one who showed me how everything worked, helped me pair my phone. I paid about $950 after taxes. I don't know if that's a good deal, but everything works well, no scratches around the dash. If it weren't for the unwelcoming first impression, this would be a 5 star for me. I wanted to give them 3 stars, but this is clearly a small business owner. My hope is they read this and work on their welcoming attitude.
