I have one of the most expensive vehicle windshields made on my 2017 Toyota Highlander, and prefer to avoid replacing the entire windshield. When dealing with this type of windshield damage, it's important you find a specialist like this who can prevent any initial crack from spreading. This independently owned shop came to my aid quickly, right after I dropped off my kids at school. The owner repaired both cracks in 45 minutes after I had informed Geico of the situation. My insurance covered the repair as a no fault claim, and the owner couldn't have been more friendly and professional. I talked about the relationship with my kids after a divorce he had experienced in life too. It was nice to get some advice on child-rearing in addition to the speedy repair. Shops like this that specialize in a certain type of vehicle repair are coveted businesses for any customer. You want to avoid large companies like Safelite AutoGlass for vehicle based glass repairs, and stick with independently owned businesses like this instead. Larger chain businesses will try and upsell you on products you don't need such as windshield wipers. Their work quality doesn't compare to that of an independently owned business either. Next time I need any repairs like this in the San Mateo area, I'll know who to go to. Wonderful experience all the way around! read more

Initiated with a quote thru their website and got a reply within a few hours. It was unfortunate that the OEM windshield was backordered but at least the OEE glass were from the same manufacturer but just missing the Toyota logo which saved almost half of the cost. They were able to get the windshield installed and the sensors recalibrated in about 2 hours or so. There's a waiting room available as well as a loaner car if you don't feel like waiting. Apparently since the last time I brought my cars there to replace windows the business has changed owners. There is still the same great quality of work. The previous owner when changing out the driver side window somehow u latch one of the cables. I was actually unaware that the business had changed owners at the time and requested them to fix the door issue which was unrelated to the windshield replacement needed. They were happy to do it, even though it was not their fault. So happy to have such an amazing place to replace glass in an efficient timely manner with excellent workmanship. I was on my way to SFO when all of the sudden my sun roof shattered into pieces. I contacted Atlas Auto Glass and worked with them throughout the whole process to get my sun roof replaced. At the same time I had cracks running along the lower portion of my front windshield. They were able to replace it at the same time saving me a tremendous amount of time. The best part was the communication from the Owner. He made sure he answered all my questions and he made sure he had all the info to get the correct pieces of glass for both broken windows. Super friendly, super-FAST service. I would definitely recommend Atlas Autoglass to everyone I know. I was driving on the freeway on my way to work and suddenly I hear this loud thump on my windshield and next thing you know there are two small cracks/chips. I was so upset that this happened and was worried it would be super pricey to fix. The first thing I did was call the dealership since I usually take my car there for any service. They told me they do not do glass and mentioned that if the crack is on the driver's side I most likely need a brand new windshield - the crack was on the driver's side. I checked on Yelp to find somewhere else to go and found Atlas. I called my insurance to file a claim since I thought I was going to need a brand new windshield and they set everything up for me. Although they warned me Atlas was out of network I still decided to go with them since they have glowing reviews on Yelp. I do not regret my decision one bit; they fixed my car in 15-20 minutes (same day service!!!). Best of all it was only $60 for the fix.
