I was lucky to stumble across this little gem of a coffee shop while I was out and about. It is on the initimate side as far as space but is perfect for a small group or a coffee date. The coffee here is the real star. You can taste how fresh the beans are in their roasts and I appreciate the coffee forward flavors that are complimented and not over powered by creamers and syrups. Service is quick and friendly and the coffee comes out as hot or as crisp as you can safely handle. So much better than all of the coffee chains around town and the prices are cheaper to boot! This is a coffee lovers place. I like my coffee, but this place was next level. A smaller menu to choose from, but what they offer they do right. Everything there is made from scratch and done right there in front of you. The smell hits you right when you walk in and sticks with you after you leave. I really just go for what's strong and doesn't taste super terrible, but the options here are so much more than that! read more

The Press Espresso has now become one of our top favorite places to go when it comes to a good cup of coffee. They make the best chai latte in town and cappuccino as it should be. But for any type of good delicious drink it come with a cost. And I'm not talking about money-wise. Don't expect your drink to be a microwave type drink, wait 2 minutes and still obtain greatness. They seriously take their time to brew and prepare you the most delicious cup of coffee for that first morning sip. As for food, they don't have a very large selection of items. We stopped by early on a Sunday morning and I ordered their avocado toast, my husband ordered there oatmeal, I think that's what it was, and the kids had a pastry. So it's definitely not a breakfast place but it is for sure a coffee house. It is small, vintage style decor, very cozy. It's not great for large groups as there are small sitting areas throughout. There is a large beautiful wooden table that fits six people so I think that's the max that you could take in your group and all together enjoy a cup of joe, however it gets busy very quickly so you are running the risk of finding a good spot to sit. All in all I am giving them a 4/5 stars only because they need more people working there. I don't expect my drinks to be rushed and not prepared well either. But when you have to wait more than 15 minutes for a drink it's a bit much. When we last went they had only two ladies working, one was the cashier and the other was the barista. I feel like that's way too much work on one person and can be discouraging when you walk in and see a crowd of people waiting in line to place your order. Otherwise I recommend going in early as soon as they open so you don't have to wait too long. read more

Just came here to get coffee and won't be back. I asked for a tiramisu and a butterscotch shaken coffee. They both tasted exactly the same, water downed coffee. I could make better coffee at home unfortunately. I took the drinks to the girl and asked for a refund. She took them and dumped them out with an attitude. I went to the cashier to receive my refund and she came up and said "we're remaking it for you" I told her "I didn't want it just the refund." She slammed her phone on the counter and walked away. I told the cashier "that attitude is the reason why I won't be back". There was no need for an attitude it was a simple refund. The two cashiers that I dealt with were super nice. read more

Must try the Peach "Pop Tart" and Nitro Cold Brew. I had to come back the second time in a week to try more coffee. Now, not only are they my favorite pastry/dessert place, but coffee as well. The coffee and pastries are amazing. Everything is made with love. My sister and I shared a banana foster latte, avocado toast, quiche, and a pastry and they were all so delicious. I always passed the coffee shop on my way to my doctor's appt and I am so happy I finally stopped by. Great place to get work done plenty of seating area. Service was excellent everyone was so kind. Whenever I'm in the Murrieta or Temecula area I try and hit up this coffee shop. So cute inside, they have baked goods and serve food (toasts) and drinks. I love having options and I love having snacks to snack on while I drink coffee so this is the perfect place for me. I love that they have season drinks and the place is always cozy. Oh! The way I've loved this place for years and then the new place HUSH came. Ever since HUSH came I've felt the difference of hospitality between the two, and then i had the worst interaction with a barista after asking for my latte to be remade. Ive actually never had to ask for a remake till recently and the first interaction with the girl at bar felt like I literally got bullied. Love supporting black owned businesses locally, but the inconsistencies from their drinks and environment their baristas want to create unfortunately is going to deter me from being a consistent customer or even from ever returning. read more

Stopped here while on my way out of town (was conveniently located near the freeway) and so glad I did! Phenomenal lattes, good food and friendly service. I recommend the BSC latte, tiramisu latte and turkey panini (has basil pesto and is on sourdough- yummy). Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! read more

Stopped in after shopping in the area & after I saw the reviews for this gem I knew I had to try it out. Parking: This shop is located in Old Town Murrieta, theres parking on the street side & plenty in their back lot. They share a lot with other businesses but when I got there around 2pm there was plenty of parking. What I got: Sparkling Lavender Lemonade: Super good & refreshing. I am a sucker for anything Lavender and this drink hit the spot. The only thing that I noticed was that most of the lavender was settled towards the bottom so its a good idea to stir to get all the flavors combined! I highly recommend this drink if you are not a coffee drinker & its not overly sweet & it was semi tart. Lavender Cheesecake: As soon as I saw it displayed in their window I knew I had to have a slice of their cheesecake. I love love to bake & have been trying to perfect my cheesecake recipe & I love an opportunity to try new flavors and combinations and this was just *chefs kiss*. It was not dense but fluffy & just a hint of lavender! I have to try to recreate this one soon! Turkey Pesto Panini: I am not normally a big fan of pesto but this panini was so dang good. It was served piping hot with melted cheese & the bread was crunchy just the way I like it. I ended up saving one half for later so my bf could try it at home & he thought it was amazing! Service: Both the barista & the girl that helped me at the cash wrap were friendly & I appreciate the fact that when my panini was done they went looking for me outside so it wasn't just sitting on the counter! Shout out to the sweet barista in the Kacey Musgraves shirt that brought my order outside to me. Its little acts of kindness & customer service that makes people want to come back again! Seating: There are a few tables outside that are open for use as of August 2020. Inside is not available for seating. I try often to go to local coffee shops & I am so so glad I stumbled across this spot! I will def be back again when I am in the area! read more

This was such a nice coffee shop! Their Brown Sugar Caramel Latte was delicious and their matcha latte was good! There was a variety of pastries to try, however I didn't get one this time :/ The staff was so nice and our order was ready fast. It is a popular coffee shop! I ordered a rose vanilla late and I also got a danish. The rose vanilla latte was different. I've never tasted anything like lt... i couldn't figure out if I liked it or not but I kept going back for sips I say that's a win in my book the service was quick and they all were so nice in their. Let me start by saying I love The Press! Their coffee and food are yummy! I also love at this particular location they have expanded and the ambiance is very nice. However, there were a TON of gnats flying around. I moved around 3 times. One by the door with the tree (there were bugs crawling all around inside that tree). I moved near the brick wall and gnats flying everywhere. There was also white dog hair all over the ground as well. And I mean A LOT. I love dogs, but a public place where there is food and drinks served is not a place for dogs/animals. Some are allergic and some just don't like the hair period. I was grossed out and left. Hopefully they clean throughly throughout the day because I did not see any employee go around and wipe anything down since I was there. I really like this coffee shop and hope the cleanliness gets fixed. read more

Ordered the sugar-free Rose latte coffee was delicious and strong. My husband ordered the muffin and the trio it was all very good Customer service was not that great girl that helped me had an attitude when I asked for a container to go for my coffee she corrected me very rudely and said do you mean a coffee cup to go! I smiled said yes sorry as she rolled her eyes! And set the coffee cup down very annoyed! I said thank you! I never got a thank you back or Have a good day! felt very hostile! My girlfriend brought me here, her favorite coffee shop while she was going to school in Temecula. The cafe was aesthetically pleasing, and it instantly smelled of fresh coffee. The baristas were friendly and prepared our drinks with care. We got a hot BSC (brown sugar caramel) latte and an iced coffee cake latte, both with almond milk. The hot latte came out with cute foam art in the shape of a leaf. Both drinks were great! We will be back when we visit the area again! read more

Had a tiramisu coffee from this place and some pastries. They were delicious and the coffee is at the next level. I'd get the same tiramisu coffee again when I return. There's always a line because they make good coffee, definitely worth the wait. The artists that makes and serves every cup is so proud of their work. Service with a smile. Awesome local small-chain coffee shop with the goods! Relatively new to the area and I've only been to this location so far but am very happy with my experiences to date and what's on tap... and tray? Baked goods! With a great selection of vegan treats at that! The few times I've been they've had an assortment of vegan goodies, donuts, muffins, loafs, ding-dongs, etc. We've tried pretty much everything and have yet to be disappointed. When I go I get whatever's drippin' on the daily (usually just drink french press at home) and it's always been fresh and quality coffee. Never had issues with parking, staff is great, inside is small but clean and cozy. Definitely my go to coffee shop when in need. That's all for now folks! read more

My favorite coffee shop ever! I consider myself a coffee connoisseur, and has tried coffee shops from all over the world. Nothing beats The Press Espresso. Their espresso is rich and full of the flavor. They have the OG lattes like mocha, vanilla and lavender as well as creative lattes like the nutella (my favorite), tiramisu, and mayan mocha. There are multiple locations around the Murrieta/Temecula area so it will never be a far drive if you are in the area! Make sure you also try out their avocado toast, its on of the best I've ever had! read more

I just love this little oasis tucked into Old Town Murrieta. Even when it's crowded it's not like being jammed into a busy 'other' coffee shop. It's cozy and you can really sit down and enjoy what you order. The coffee is fantastic. They clearly take great care in where they source what they serve. The pastries are delicious. I have craved their monkey bread for days and when I have three time pop in to sit down and enjoy it. It's a gem in the valley. read more

yes they have almond, coconut and macadamia milks. Most of their syrups are vegan but i forget which ones because i always get the rose vanilla. just ask and they will gladly let you! They also have vegan/gf donuts!

It's such a shame to leave a review like this because the coffee and food here are genuinely fantastic -- some of the best in town. But unfortunately, that's where the positives end. I'm rarely acknowledged when I walk up to the counter, and the staff often make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them just by being there. There's a noticeable lack of warmth or basic hospitality, and it really affects the overall experience. I recently visited this cafe and had a mixed experience. The rose vanilla coffee was delicious, and the ambience was pleasant. The woman who took my order was very polite and cheerful, which made for a great start. However, I was quickly disappointed with my turkey Panini. When I received it, I noticed it was missing the pickles that were listed as an ingredient. I addressed this with the gentleman who made my sandwich and asked about the missing pickles. He seemed annoyed by my question and gave me a tiny sliver to go, which felt dismissive. Additionally, the sandwich had very little turkey and resembled more of a grilled cheese than a turkey Panini. I'm always looking for a good coffee place and oh my God I finally found the spot. This place has really good coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, pastries, and munchies. The place is so perfectly decorated I love everything about the place. You can even purchase merch. I ordered the tiramisu latte and a turkey panini. I was so shocked my mom finished her latte in two gulps she's never done that before she couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. She even enjoyed the turkey panini. This location is not really big but still accommodating. There is one restroom. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Had to wait 20 minutes for the two paninis because they only have one toaster and 7 minutes for the two latte's but it was so worth it. The panini is huge. The place is well maintained and cleaned. Correction, they do have outlets. I did not see them ladt time since they were coveted by the people sitting on the bench.

Went to a different location and was surprised that despite what drink you order you get the same…read moreamount of espresso shots. So if you get the larger size, it doesn't come with more shots that means you just pay for more milk. I left a not so raving review at the other location because I wasn't impressed with that and didnt go back to the chain as many other coffee shops will increase the espresso amount or even double it with the larger sizes. The owner/manager responded to my review which I appreciated and he said that things were in the works. I felt heard and so I was prepared to change my review if that indeed happened. Well, I'm coming back a year later because I wanted to give it some time and Ive now moved here so I'm a local but unfortunately no changes have happened. They have definitely updated their menu drinks to new seasonal items so I guess this feedback felt between the cracks and instead decided to just make new drink. Drinks themselves are way sweet and even even when asking if I can get it half sweet, everything else just overpowers the coffee that I'm trying to taste - it must be all that milk and sugar with little espresso. This location does have nicer staff as the one in downtown/old town Murietta were rude and with attitudes.

Parking was open, but this lot is notorious for tight parking. There wasnt anyone inside so my drink was made quickly. Inside has plenty of seating and was clean.

I love that they have small bites and a few larger options on their menu if you're hungry and want to grab a bite to eat. I love all the available seating they have indoor and outdoors here too. Good place to study, read a book or even hang out with friends. I love that the coffee place also has a cute little boutique shop attached to it with cute clothing and jewelry options. The berry ice tea with lemonade was delicious and I also got the chicken panini which was really good!

Nikki helped with my vegan options and I'm grateful because the options though limited were easy…read morebecause she knows the menu. To her and the team working made everything taste great! No stress behind the food and well presented. One thing that makes my day when entering a coffee shop is when I can sit at a table and it's clean/ well kept. Another thank you to the staff for maintaining your work area and the dining area as well. I'll continue to come in and hoping they have some vegan pastries soon. However, I'm giving a 2-star review because my most recent bag had a severe quality control failure. A rock made it through their sorting process and completely wrecked the precision burrs in my espresso grinder. Replacing the damaged parts is costing me $70 out of pocket plus the repair time, which is a steep penalty to pay for someone's carelessness at the roastery. I want to keep supporting them because the coffee itself is excellent, but a mistake that breaks a customer's expensive equipment needs to be addressed immediately. I hope the team recalibrates their de-stoner so I can safely buy from them again in the future.

Cute interior/ exterior with lots of available seating outside…read more Coffee was delicious I got the banana foster latte 10/10 it was so good no artificial banana taste and it was sweet. :) My boyfriend got the lavender honey latte which he liked except for the dried lavender bits they put on top. The coffee cake was sooooo good! The scone was good too but our fave was the coffee cake. Definitely a great spot to grab your coffee and pastries :)

I also got a Cold Brew which was not so great unfortunately. I like mine black as I enjoy the straight coffee tastes but this was burnt tasting and similar to how Starbucks tastes. Service was quite lovely though and I would definitely give it another try based on the rest of my experience

In today's world that's unfortunately pretty average, even if it still feels wild when you think about what coffee actually costs to make.
