Guys, this place is the stuff. I've never been afraid to book with any stylist here because they've all done an exemplary job all while making me feel comfortable and asking questions to keep my mind off the fact that hair is being pulled out. Even if I haven't gone in a while, the Brazilian is still done in 10-15 minutes. These girls have it down! I've even seen some of the employees in training and have not been disappointed. The owner was there to supervise and educate to ensure I got what I wanted as well as the new employee being trained to standard. Trainings are not under 15 minutes, but still worth it. And definitely ask questions about before and after care instructions to ensure you work together to get your best results. Clean, cute, and sweet people. Seriously a great place to go. read more

Had my FIRST Brazilian wax EVER today (I am 40) at the Las Vegas location of The Pretty Kitty, and I have to tell you - the *AMAZING* reviews here are CORRECT! :D I was apprehensive, nay, DREADING, having this little procedure done. It's not something I would have chosen for myself (I have very fair hair and not a lot of it, so trimming is more than adequate), but booked the appointment to have it done as a special treat for my man. On the way to the salon, I called him - almost in tears - telling him I DID NOT want to go through with it because of the pain, blah blah blah. (I had had a previous bikini wax 10 years ago which was so excruciating, I stopped the girl in the middle of it!) But, I wasn't about to stand up my aesthetician *today,*, so I decided to put on my "big girl panties," walk through the door and let the pain commence! I was scared about who was going to wax me; I wanted it to be Molly or Trish, since I've read such great things about them here on Yelp. I was a bit unsure and nervous when I was told that Nina would be waxing me (since she's NOT Molly OR Trish) -- I SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN! Nina was absolutely LOVELY! I told her it was my first time, and she made me feel very comfortable. Also, I am what I like to refer to as a "beefy" girl, and like one of the previous reviewers, I never once felt self-conscious or awkward. I cannot underscore how important that is to the "curvy contingent!" ;) Long story short (oops - too late!), Nina was FABULOUS! It was quick, she was very gregarious, caring and fun to talk to, and I was shocked when it DIDN'T hurt! Seriously. (Okay, there were two spots which hurt a bit, but not bad at all!) ;) In fact, having my moustache waxed was MORE painful than the entirety of the Brazilian - and I'm not kidding! This is down to technique, and WOW, does Nina know how to do it properly! So from cowering wimp to "I will be doing this for the rest of my life!", *this* Scaredy Cat has been transformed! She's extremely patient and helpful; especially because sometimes I have to take my little ones with me. This place is pricey compared to other new specialty waxing places in Vegas. Also, they use soft wax with strips, which I find more painful than the hard wax they use at the less expensive place. With the soft wax, I was red and sensitive afterwards - with the soft was, not so. On a positive note, their staff is very friendly and professional and they got every last hair! read more

The best thing about this place is how quickly it's all over. I had been out of the Brazilian wax game for a few years, but decided to pick the habit back up. My appointment with Molly lasted only about 10 minutes. She was super friendly and very easy to talk to. The price was $55, which seem to be $5-10 less than a lot of other places. The receptionist was really nice too and struck up a conversation with me. The only down side is that I live on the opposite side of town from this place, but they are opening a Spring Valley location soon!!! read more

I had to Review Pretty Kitty ... 2 weeks ago I went and have my first Brazilian ... I was nervous for sure anticipating excruciating pain ... I went to the Henderson location.... Upon arrival It was love at first site .. Clean, organized , nice staff and perfect decor !! I saw Kirsty and she was a doll ... You can imagine something if the sort being uncomfortable ... She made me feel very comfortable and was very informative !! Within 15 minutes I was done and 100% satisfied !!! It hurt but not nearly as much as I expected !! The girls suggested a natural exfoliation brush and a serum to reduce ingrown hairs which I both highly suggest for a more satisfactory result !! I got the chromabrite serum and already notice results !!! But exfoliation is a Must to avoid ingrowns !! I was excited to hear I didn't have to return for 6 weeks, I was expecting 3 weeks. I will, without a doubt, return in 6 weeks for my wax at the Pretty Kitty with Kirsty. And I am a loyal customer from here on out !!! I got an eyebrow wax and I am pleased. After having two bad experiences at other places this place pretty much salvaged my eyebrows! My esthetician was Ana and she was so friendly. I told her how my eyebrows were jacked up and jow I really wanted them andbafter she cleaned them up she asked me a couple of times to see how I liked it and what I would like to fix it and she was so nice about it. this was my first time ever being waxed and I was beyond scared! The boutique is so cute very feminine when you walk in and the front desk girls are super sweet and greet you right away when you walk in. I saw Amelia for my apt. and I will be returning.
