My Husband and I celebrated our anniversary at our home in Frisco this past weekend and we are so happy to have found Chef Holli and her team at The Private Table dfw. We hosted 25 guest and wanted an elegant menu to indulge on our anniversary. The menu consisted of three difference phases of the evening. First guest arrived to champagne service with a grazing station set out in our bar & lounge area, followed by servers with passed canapes of tuna crudo, bilinis with caviar and a few other incredible bites. Then followed a seated dinner that was absolutely phenomenal, we were all blown away. The dishes were simplistic with stunning plating but had a great deal of flavor. With a little one at home, it is not always easy to get out for a nice dinner, so having the restaurant brought to us was perfect. She was communicative, professional, and very engaging. Absolutely wonderful and delectable experience. We had the pleasure of having Holli and Tony cook for 10 of us, no small feat, but it was absolutely seamless and we were free to hang out offsite and enjoy each other's company (albeit with our mouths watering a bit) while they prepped everything from start to finish with nothing needed from us. Holli cooked us 6-7 dishes over 3 courses, explaining a bit of the background of the recipes from her grandmother and other family members before serving each one, which made the enjoyment of the authentic NOLA cuisine that much more heightened and heartwarming. They handled all cleanup as well and even organized some leftovers in the fridge for us (which we tore into the next night). 10/10 recommend for a unique dining experience in already one of the best dining cities around. read more

Holli (and Brett the bartender) made the most incredible dinner with cocktails for 11 of us who were visiting New Orleans. Holli created the perfect menu for us, and was so professional and flexible along the way, including when we had some last-minute changes. Our experience with Chef Holli was above and beyond incredible. We had 17 girls in Nola for a Bachelorette party (not to mention this was the Friday before Hurricane Ida). Chef Holli provided us with an incredible brunch experience during our trip to NOLA - even when I booked her services last minute! The good: The salad was flavorful and well put together. The dessert was well done. The so-so: The main dish was quite flavorful for me, but a bit too salty for others. Overall the main dish, red snapper, was an inconsistent experience for the party. The bad: We provided advance notice about food allergies and vegetarian needs; however, there were no modifications made to suit the dietary needs. Late arrival and a bit unpolished. I was excited to work with Holli and DelishNOLA for my October 2014 wedding, and then she COMPLETELY stopped responding to me about a month after we first made contact. When I left a bad review, I did briefly hear from Holli's fiance, who let me know Holli was having health problems. I felt terrible and took down the review... and then never heard from Holli again. THANKFULLY, this this was months out from my wedding and I found another caterer, but I was hoping for more professionalism. However, I was communicating with the chef/owner, Hollie, about hosting a private dinner party for 15 in NOLA. So, let me set the scene for you: It is my bachelorette party in New Orleans and there are ten women, including myself, saying at a hotel on Decatur street. My amazing sister was able to throw me a surprise bachelorette shower and DelishNola catered. We are so lucky they did!! We hired Delish NOLA for a meal at a vacation rental in New Orleans for 6 guys celebrating their 50th birthdays. Holli was great to work with and responded to our inquiry quickly and competently. The event was very enjoyable. She served, cleared and cleaned up with style. The presentation of the dinner was great as was the timing. We enjoyed our mea , especially the main course which was chicken and sausage jambalaya. The chicken was tender and not over cooked. Our only complaints were that the food was a little on the cool side by the time it was served and we expected the food to be prepared at the house. As we were hiring a personal chef, we wanted to see the local food prepared and have an opportunity to ask questions. But Holli brought in the already prepared food as a caterer might. They took care of everything from the prepping of the dinner tables, cooking, serving and cleaning up. I came to New Orleans with a large group for my birthday and we rented 2 houses. I had Holli come in and cook for 22 of us. She and her assistants helped put together the table, brought linens, silverware (she would have brought plates but there were enough in the house) and took care of a fabulous evening. Holli made my brothers bachelor party awesome and super easy. I was struggling trying to figure out what things to setup, and how we would arrange for food at the house we rented on AirBnB, but I was referred to her and my problems were solved. She was very easy to work with, and was flexible giving us options and pricing. When I told her I didnt really want to deal with the details, she put together a menu plan for me and gave me excellent recommendations that I simply approved and everything was setup and done The food was absolutely amazing!! The best way to describe it: a perfect fusion of NOLA cuisine with her own twist on traditional Cajun dishes. The biggest problem was that we were completely stuffed after dinner and this made it hard to get going for the party later. She also prepared a great breakfast for us that cured a bad hangover. Basically, she shows up and takes care of everything from planning, plates and silverware (which I was worried about since we were renting and the house had no tableware), preparation, serving and cleanup. She even cleaned up our already disastrous kitchen from the party the night before so that we didnt have to dine in our own filth. She packaged the leftovers and desert for a nice surprise when we got back from the bars and when we were scrambling to find something to eat at 7am the last morning.
