I ordered the Mile High Burger with mixed veggies and it came out (no pun intended) as ramen with carrots - a little order-transitioning happens here, and I'm here for it. Delicious. Let me start by saying that Rosies lives up to its title of being a Tropical Oasis in the middle of Wilton Manors! It is. We sat out on the patio and felt like we were in the middle of an urban oasis surrounded by a cool breeze, bamboo, and soothing sounds! Secondly, my Southern Lovin' salad was soooooo good. It's topped with fried chicken, has caramelized pecans, bacon, and is topped with honey mustard dressing. YUM!!! When it arrived, I thought......... where's the dressing? But once I dug in, IT WAS THERE! Perfectly drenched in the spring salad. It was huge, and I ate it all! NO regrets. My partner had the Big Fish tacos with Mahi, Mahi. It has a wonderful eye appealing tropical open ari appearance with and decor; usually very festive with balloons etc,. They have a full bar best known for its Margaritas and a good size menu but best known for its burgers and handhelds. They usually have several daily specials. As I was there on international Mr. Leather Day, the had foot long Chicago hot dogs of which I had one. Advertised as dog-friendly, this restaurant has more outdoor seating than indoor space. We called ahead and were told bringing our dog would be fine. Yet when we arrived, management immediately told us that only service dogs were allowed and did so in a dismissive, disrespectful manner. We were eventually seated, but not without unnecessary attitude from management. Ironically, the wait staff was welcoming and even brought water for our dog. If dogs are not permitted, that policy should be communicated clearly and consistently. We ordered the Bacon Bitty Bang Bang burger and The Ross pastrami special and both were amazing! We also ordered a few frozen cocktails. They had great flavor and were blended well, but I wish there were a little stronger. I am just going to start this review off by saying they are not pet friendly lol... It was 3 of us for lunch with my aunts little Chihuahua. We told the host "3 of us and a little pup" and she was even holding the pup so she was visible. We got sat outside, and everything was fine until (I think he was the manger?) came and said dogs aren't allowed to sit on your lap, and the dog barked and he said "ya, service dogs don't bark.." with a rude snicker. First of all, we never claimed she was a service dog nor did they ask. If they would have from the start we would say no... and leave. Anyway our waiter was nice and the food was pretty good. The atmosphere is fun and bright but it was just so uncomfortable because the dog was barking and we kept getting stares, this is not their fault at all but what made it awkward was how we could tell we were not wanted there and it could have been avoided if we were told from the get go that dogs weren't allowed. We were eventually told they can't have dogs barking so we left. We ended up going to another restaurant for dinner that night and the dog sat on her lap and didn't bark at all and had no problems.
