Wow!! This place is absolutely fantastic. Went with my girlfriend who is a self proclaimed açaí connoisseur and she was very impressed with the base and the generosity of the toppings. Great vibes both inside and outside with the patio. Great service. What a wonderful spot here on Franklin Street.

Make your own with blackberries, kiwi , goji berries and xtra granola!!

Neat little place on Franklin street in Chapel Hill. Very healthy bowls and smoothies. You can choose from some recipes or select your own. My wife likes the Appalachian trial bowl and I make my own. Service is very quick. As good as the food is, the service is better. Everyone is over the top friendly and helpful. A very safe place for allergies or Chiat diets as they are patient and answer every question without the "come on" look you get at so many places. Inside it's very chill, if you aren't a UNC fan you might have to look over some of the decor (over the top UNC stuff) but the food and service/people are definitely worth it. Good for the right kids. There's no sugary menu choices or pastries some kids only accept. This is becoming our favorite for those leisurely Saturday mornings. Definitely give this a try!!!!!

It's definitely your average acai bowl place. It has a homey and clean vibe to it, and it's a nice spot to hang out with friends during a hot day. I love local businesses, and this place did a good job building a strong community and comfortable environment for students and families. However, the bowls are small and pricey, and the toppings you can add without having to pay extra are limited. The regular bowl size is what I consider to be a snack size, but it still comes out to be around $13ish. You can only pick two fruits for the build your own bowl, which is disappointing. Also, even though I was dine-in, the acai bowl came half melted and not as cold as I was expecting it to be. It's definitely different from larger acai bowl chains, but I understand the circumstances since this is a local business. I suppose it does the job.

Getting some fuel for today's 8-hour course. Energy balls are a must!

Was in Chapel Hill for a course and dropped by for a quick breakfast as soon as they opened at 8am. I always want everything on the menu at these health food-type places so was very pleased that they have a Snack Pack, which is a smaller sized bowl of your choice and one slice of avocado or peanut butter banana toast. I got the antioxidant bowl and avocado toast on gluten free bread and both were good. I prefer my avocado smashed and spread on my toast, but here they serve it as slices. I just schmeared it around myself so no biggie. But Shoutout to them for having GLUTEN FREE bread that doesn't taste like cardboard! I also grabbed a pack of their chocolate chip energy balls to eat throughout the day but they didn't last long. They were so good and well balanced composition of flavors and texture. Didn't hang around long but this place has lots of inside and outdoor front patio seating. They also have a cool wall of Instax Polaroids of customers which adds a nice touch and shows they care appreciate customer loyalty.

The "giant" size was not giant at all. Not worth the price, barely any smoothie! It was good, but nothing spectacular.

I would eat here for breakfast every day if I could. The fruit is so fresh and the açaí bowl with honey is so refreshing. Would definitely recommend this place for açaí bowl. I was underwhelmed by the avocado toast but impressed at how ripe the avocados were. Parking can be challenging and difficult to find a good spot during the peak times.

I came here for breakfast. The cashier led me through the order process and I received my bowl quickly thereafter. The acai is served cold, and with all the fruit, it made for a good start to the day. The patio area overlooking the sidewalk was pleasant area to eat. Quiet day since UNC was on summer break.

Purple bowl is probably my most preferred place to get a quick bite of breakfast in chapel hill. I almost always take my order to go but occasionally eat outside. I have never been disappointed. The bowls are always perfect, made to order, fresh ingredients, super kind and friendly service. Absolutely love it. I have never had a negative experience here.

The decor is clean and light--very inviting.

Food: 4.5 Location: 5…read moreInside/seating :5 Service: 5 Overall value: 4 My spouse and I came here for lunch as we were in the area, and it was recommended. I had the BLTA sandwich with french fries and Dijonaise on the side and my spouse had the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast burrito with home fries. We also each got different sodas from the cooler area. The total for two lunch entrées and two canned sodas was about $40. I feel like this is pretty high relatively speaking for a sandwich and fries, and a breakfast burrito and home fries + two canned sodas, which is why I gave the overall value a four. However, the breakfast burrito, home fries, and regular fries were AMAZING. Probably one of the best breakfast burritos I have had in a really long time, and the home fries were crispy and well seasoned. The sandwich I had was pretty good, but nothing super special, and definitely not worth $16. I didn't particularly care for the Dijonnais, but that's just personal preference and glad I had it on the side. The restaurant itself has ample parking and is easy to find. It has a lot of seating, as well as lounge type seating for the breakfast/café crew and people who might be coming to do a little bit of work. You order at the front and they give you a number and bring the food out to your table. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind. The restaurant itself was clean. Overall, I would probably give this somewhere between a four and a five, but I do really love to support Local and I could tell this place probably makes a banging coffee drink and had delicious looking desserts, so I went with a 5. Unfortunately, we live between 35 and 40 minutes away, so we likely won't return, but if we find ourselves in that area of Chapel Hill, I would consider stopping in for another breakfast burrito!

Obsessed! I need this in the Chicago area!…read more I was meeting up with a friend while in Chapel Hill and told her I'd love to grab coffee and take a walk. And she knew just the place... She brought me to Caffe Driade where we grabbed coffee (ice latte with almond milk for me) and then made our way down to trails where we enjoyed our coffee walking in this amazing wooded area. It was a hot June day, but between the shade and it being morning it wasn't too bad. There's also some tables up top by the cafe, but I personally prefer the walk/hike. The coffee was fine, but the hiking/atmosphere was amazing. If i make it back to the Triangle area I'll be here every morning!

This is an interesting place to have coffee at any time with friends and enjoy nature. There's so many places to sit amongst the trees and to relax it's quite enjoyable. They have a pretty decent selection of coffee and they offered some food items as well. I really enjoyed my time here. I just wish they had more comfortable chairs. The metal small chairs are not comfortable so we weren't here as long as we would've liked to have been. I tried something completely new out of my comfort zone, a golden milk latte. This was absolutely delicious and I would get this again. I was able to add honey as my sweetener and really enjoyed this different cup of coffee.
