    Lobster Roll with Poutine Fries

Casual atmosphere with waterside dining outside, not dog friendly on the deck. Blue Moon not on draft, usually is and my bad for not asking as they had a draft list with some good choices. Sliders are decent size, salmon had a bourbon glaze, lobster roll was filled with cream cheese and okay. Crab cakes are pan seared and on the small side. Fries are hot and decent. Little on the higher price point but decent portions. Parking is along the road and pinched between the building and water prohibits any large lot. There is a crazy deep pot hole and some odd cement obstacles, so night exits beware. Friday offered up a guitar player and a nice summer sunset. Attentive bar service.

Cozy little place by the water. We visited in January so we were unable to get the full experience but I bet it would be great in the Summer. Lobster roll was meh, I prefer chucks over ground. The Birra tacos on the other hand were delicious. I very much enjoyed my ceasar salad and fries as well. Service was great!

    Shrimp Tacos (3 Pieces)

Just an awesome place for outdoor seating alongside some water, definitely summer vibes! And plenty of indoor seating in the a/c too. My only negative is some of the drinks and cocktails were a little pricey. I had heard about all the different flights they offered and tried the Bloody Mary flight which was tasty but $24!! (That's ridiculous, expecting maybe $15) Happy to say the food was both tasty and reasonably priced. I got the shrimp tacos and they were delicious, with amazing range of flavors and the salsa was very good too. My dad got the perch sandwich and instead of expecting one sandwich he got 3 big sliders! So both food options were $14ish and came with a side. All in all I'd definitely recommend as a great spot and good food but watch the drink prices or the tab will get pricey.

    Obstacles in the parking lot

This place looked cool from the pictures so we decided to go here for date night. I am going to get the BIG negative thing out of the way. The Parking Lot. This is by far one of the worst parking lots for a restaurant to have, it is very long and the width almost has 2 cars touching, it takes a lot to park in a space without hitting another car, they also have 2 HUGE concrete blocks in parking spaces they makes it even harder to park and the roadway of the parking lot is all torn up and potholes everywhere, if you do come here be aware of having a horrible parking experience. Ok so now that is out of the way, there was a lot of people here so I figured the food had to be great, we had a wait time of about 10-15 minutes which wasn't bad at all. We got seated by the water which was nice and it had a lot of nice views from our table. We first ordered drinks, I ordered the fishbowl and my wife ordered a Margarita. When we got our drinks, the fishbowl was in a plastic fishbowl that was all dented up and cracked and the wife ordered a Margarita that was so sour she couldn't even drink it, it was by far one of the worst margaritas I have ever tasted which sucks because they used Casamigos, a top notch Tequila. We also ordered food, we had the Brussel Sprouts and Poutine Fries as an appetizer, the Brussel Sprouts were really good and the Jalapeño slices were spicy which was awesome and the Poutine Fries were good, needed a little extra salt but other than that it was good. For our dinner I ordered the Birria Ramen and the wife ordered the Perch Dinner. Both meals were really good, the ramen noodles were cooked perfectly and sauce tasted amazing, it also came with a taco which I didn't eat cause I was way too full. I have to say the ambience of this place is nice and relaxing and our waiter was amazing, we had no complaints cause he was on the go and fast moving. The only issue we had was the parking lot and her margarita, other than that everything was great. Just don't order the margarita and ride a bike here and you will be fine.

    Cookie flight

The ambiance is very cute. Very well decorated for the holidays. We got three flights, mimosa, espresso and cookie. The espresso flight had the most bang for your buck. The cookie flight shows a cookie shot glass, that's not the case. Bang bang shrimp were very good. House salad is mediocre. Guacamole deviled eggs were missing a main component of chorizo. The veggie bowl was missing the portabella mushrooms. It's disappointing that the kitchen missed key components of their dishes. I'd say this is a drinks spot, not drinks and dinner. We enjoyed the drinks

We had the Perch and comes with 2 sides.. we both got the side salads and this place definitely passes " The Ranch" test !!! The perch was cooked to order, came with 5 pieces and a delicious Tarter sauce. The place was pretty hoppin for a snowy Saturday night! Would cone again next visit to MI.

The view is beautiful here. I recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. Our server was super friendly and helpful in answering questions about my meal due to dietary restrictions. They did forget our appetizer first so we ended up eating it with our main meal. I recommend the chips trio. It comes with homemade chips, salsa, queso and guacamole. The salad i ordered was good but the price was a little steep for the price. My sister and her friend both got the salmon sliders and would recommend

Wow! Finally The Quarry in Monroe delivered The food & service matched the view! Everything was amazing from the time we sat down to the time we were done. We chose to sit on the patio. The breeze was perfect & kept us cool while sipping on yummy craft cocktails enjoying our chips & salsa appetizer. I chose to order the brussel sprouts & a bowl of lobster bisque- all made to perfection. He chose the chicken & waffles sandwiches & the poutine- so yummy I couldn't keep my fork out of it! The service was speedy & attentive- so refreshing due to the new ownership! It's nice to have this place in Monroe. It sure feels like you're on vacation while dining here! Give The Quarry a chance (or another.) You will be satisfied with the quality service, views, & eats it has to offer!

    The view from the outside

The vibes are awesome! But the wait can be a bit long if you're going on the weekend. Drinks are amazing and food is good. All the staff is on the younger side tho, so give them some patience as they learn the ropes!

Breakfast toast with salmon and egg that is not cooked

Really nice restaurant but the kitchen , we've been waiting for our food for over an hour and my son's steak was dry and hard like a bottom of my shoe ‍ my wife's egg wasn't done and the house potatoes were soaked with the oil

Road trip. Found this little spot off the map and decided to try it. Very nice people. Beautiful outside patio. The food was pretty good too. The sauce on the calamari was so good. My chicken and waffles hit the spot and my husband really enjoyed the birria ramen.

The shrimp appetizer is my go to order here. New owners are doing a good job of shedding the old reputation. Great patio for a drink.

It's beautiful inside, the servers and staff are attentive and helpful, and the food is always very good. For example, my client ordered the Blackened Shrimp Alfredo and the shrimp were carefully placed to be standing up in a circle which was so much more attractive than if they were simply laying in the pasta and sauce. I also appreciate the convenient location off of 475 and the large parking lot.

Shockingly bad experience last night, especially after my numerous visits to Mancy's restaurants…read more We asked for a wine list which took over 10 minutes to receive. I was disappointed in the lack of European wines but found an Italian on the last bottle list. It was $150 but I was desperate. Unfortunately, our server didn't come back for 15 min to take our order and then when she finally delivered it, she broke the cork because she didn't screw down far enough. Alcohol is a big money maker yet we sat for 40 minutes before it was poured. The food was the main problem. Not only a super slow kitchen but it was then served refrigerator cold. Everything. Fish, steak, green beans, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, even the plate was frigid. So we sent it back and instead of preparing a new plate, they tried to just warm it and brought it back cold..again. This was a $75 plate of food. At this point, we were concerned about food safety and said to just forget it. Luckily we had bread with our wine but they never offered anything else other than not charging us for the food which we didn't even touch. This was two hours after our arrival so went home hungry after paying for the wine. To top it off, there was a loud, raging fight in the bar area that we heard across the restaurant so we waited until they had left, concerned about a physical altercation. She said it's their policy to never refund food. I heard the discussion she had with the bar manager and she didn't try to help us, they both basically talked bad about us and the manager refused to take it off. About 30 minutes later, when she brought our bill, she said they would substitute them for another appetizer to go. So we did that. The place is deceiving from the outside. It looks like a nice spot, but inside it's more like a dive bar with regulars screaming at golf on tv. Service was slow and mediocre. We ordered some appetizers and side salads but were there for over an hour because she rarely ever came back to our table. It took 46 minutes to get our bill. The Bosticks were alright. Crispy on the outside. Tasted kinda sweet to me though, so they weren't my favorite. I didn't try the onion rings because the batter looked gross. Side salad with creamy Italian dressing was fine. Fries were thick but tasted ok, not very crispy. Would not ever come back or recommend.
