We had a horrible experience here last weekend. We are a group of ladies who booked 2 cabins for 2…read morenights. When we arrived we were told there is an 11 pm curfew for guests from outside our cabin and a 12 pm curfew to remain at our cabin. We honoured those curfews. Most of us were in bed by 11. The next morning as we were packing our golf clubs in our cars the owner came to our cabin. They told us to get out or he was calling the police. At first we thought it was a misunderstanding. When we asked what we had done we were told the we knew what we had done and were shown a log book of our activities. Apparently the owner has cameras set up throughout the campground and drives around through the night spying on the guests. 2 of the ladies went out on their front porch to get some fresh air around 12:15 to have a quiet conversation. This was the offence that led to 6 ladies threatened and evicted. At the time we were also told we wouldn't be refunded. There are a myriad of problems with this incident but the most egregious problem is having a group of women being spied on by the owner. This behaviour is completely unacceptable. STAY AWAY!

Some of the cottages are located right by the coast and some have terraces so you can have a bbq and dinner as you watch the waves roll. A few cottages and units are located inland but you still get a nice view of the waters. Colin is super friendly and we've had some great chats. He lives on the property, so if you need anything, he is available. Of the cottages that have a kitchenette, it comes with an induction stove and a small fridge. It comes included plates and bowls, pots and pans, and even condiments. All you need to bring are your groceries. Perfect for romantic getaways, or solo travel like me.
