Great ambience and drinks are delicious! What a gem in Cheboygan! Attached is another London-styled pub, another store entitled Queen's Head with boutique style clothes, a store which had pig-themed toys for kids.

Our first visit to Queens Head we were greeted warmly at the door by the owner, who graciously took our coats. We were seated in gorgeous chairs at a lovely table beneath exquisite light fixtures, treated to live music, and served an incredible meal! Smoked Trout chowder was on the menu--to our joy--and we found it filling and delicious. The salad that came with the meal was excellent, and the roast beef baguette was crispy and flavorful. Imagine our delight when, we were offered a full tour of the market surrounding the Pub. We were smitten from the start, and traveled through shop after shop with memorable merchandise. All the while we never roamed further than 20 feet from a bar! If you've never been, you must try the Queens Head Wine Bar. Once you do, you'll make the same decision we did. See you there--we will be back again and again!

The customer service at The Queens Head is some of the best I've witnessed! We arrived with a party of 6 and were immediately sat down at a large table in the middle of the room. We were just beginning a trip to celebrate my grandma's belated 70th birthday and John, who turned out to be the owner, was so sweet to her and had her sit in a big leather "throne" at the end of the table. The waiter was incredibly attentive and patient with our rambunctious group! We had plenty of their fabulous wine, shared some appetizers (highly recommend the hummus), and enjoyed many of their menu offerings. They had a berry pizza with a balsamic vinaigrette and fresh raspberries and blueberries that was to die for! At the Queens Head they'll celebrate your birthday day of but they were so sweet and made an exception for our grandma and gave her a crown for her birthday. John and Marcella gave our family a tour of all of their connected shops that were closed and made us all want to come back! Then we wrapped up with some incredible and fresh strawberry bread pudding. Definitely recommend!!

We were in Cheboygan on a rainy day and happened to walk in just as they were opening. Marcella welcomed us so warmly, asked if we had ever been there and when we said we hadn't, she gave us a tour of the pub as well as the adjoining theater and lounge. The rest of our stay she greeted others the same way and was just so lovely, we knew our visit would be memorable! They have wonderful food, excellent beer and wine, and the atmosphere is worth the trip entirely. The patio will be lovely the next time we visit when it's not raining!

Came in for some drinks. The Bartender was extremely nice and knowledgeable about all aspects of service. Talked us into getting food also Food was amazing and the owner... super friendly. We went on a tour of all connected businesses. Amazing time. Will return.

Rhett and John were excellent, as was the amazing food and drinks. Love this place!!!

A draught of Boddington's and the personable charm of the owners makes The Queen's Head a most welcome addition to the dining and drinking experiences of Northern Michigan. Well worth the drive from I-75 for a pint, a glass of wine, a cocktail, or a gourmet dish. One cannot help but feel at home in a place where the waitstaff are attentive, the fire warms the body, and the food and drink warm the soul.

Strawberry pizza! Cauliflower crust, mozzarella, strawberries and balsamic glaze!

I believe one of the owners, or a manager was checking on guests randomly, which is always a nice thing to see however... The food is EXPENSIVE. 1/3 pound burger for $18?? Seriously? That's barely over the size of a McDonalds hamburger. A few items for $40ish and I couldn't justify spending it, if I was still going to be hungry. We kept looking around at what others were eating, and nothing appeared to be much food in front of others at all. Most of the items shown on their menu through Google, are not on their limited menu either. We were looking forward to trying it for someplace different, but it wasn't worth the money to us. We were hungry, and realized this wasn't the place to go if you were, so we nicely paid for our drinks, tipped our sweet server and quietly left. We ended up going next door to Mulligans. Again -it has a great atmosphere, the service seems to be excellent, and is a very nice place, but not for dinner unfortunately.

We sat on folding chairs at the table. Our waitress carried our drinks by the rim of the glass. We asked for a straw so our mouth wasn't where the drinks were carried and we were brought unwrapped straws that were too short for the glass and carried in the waitresses hand. Out of the taco Tuesday special by 7:00. They were out of iced tea as well. There's also a very odd long mirror in the women's bathroom giving you a unique view of yourself while using the restroom. We did not have the 4.7 star experience that we expected from other reviews. I will say the flat iron steak and the shrimp pasta was good. Our other items were just okay.

This bar is at the top of the Grand Hotel. You do have to take two sets of stairs to get to it. I didn't see an elevator that would get there all the way up there. But if you're able, get there. There are two levels to this bar so maybe the first level is attainable with accessibility and then the top level might not be. Check ahead. This bar is absolutely gorgeous!!! There is a large or dare I say "grand" Chihuly glass chandelier hanging from the center from the upper section to the lower section, so it can be seen from both floors of this small but beautiful bar. We walked into the lower level first and the bartender immediately turned to us with a great big smile and welcomed us to the bar and asked if we wanted anything to drink. The wallpaper on this bar is light and beautiful and big windows look out over the ground towards Lake Huron. I was mesmerized immediately. Then we went upstairs to the upper level and there are 180° views of equally big clean windows at a beautiful sunny day outside was just breathtaking. We sat at a table and a server came over quickly and offered us cocktails and welcomed us to the bar. The service was kind of like being at Disney with impeccable service. I had the Machiatto Martini, and my aunt had a glass of rosé. The macchiato martini had Van Gogh double espresso vodka, Dorda sea salt, caramel, Dorda double chocolate, Frangelico, Amaretto, and Baileys. It was visually, stimulating and delicate and sweet and rich, as expected. I may try to make these at home - ha ha!! The views were spectacular and there was light acoustic guitar music playing on speakers, but not too loud and just a nice place to be in the moment at this magical hotel and have a cocktail either to end the day or end your time at the hotel. I'll never forget it.
