This place is a great spot for a meal if you're on the island. They have a kids menu and a nice atmosphere. Our server was kind and attentive.

Great selection of Irish brews on tap. Friendly service at the bar. Irish music on the overhead.

Our group of 10 came here for dinner on a Thursday, it wasn't busy, we were seated immediately. Note: They don't split checks of parties of 6 or more. An 18% gratuity is added to parties of 6 or more. I ordered the Ale Battered Fish and Chips. It was decent. It was filling. I was satisfied. Not super hungry? Order off the kids menu. My sister did and it was just enough. Service was good. Our server took care of us all evening, kept our drinks topped off.

We were seated quickly. Our server was great checking on us. We ordered the Reuben and the Fish Sandwich and loved both. Great environment. TVs with sports on for people who want that but the decor is entertaining to look at the local history.

I absolutely love this bar. It's iconic for locals and tourists alike. The bartenders here are some of the most welcoming and fun people on the island who set a great ambiance for a great time. Try the espresso martini, cosmo, cherry mule, or even get creative and ask the bar staff to invent a drink for you. They also offer a variety of entertainment each night from trivia, Kareoke, and themed parties, it's a lively atmosphere you're bound to enjoy. I'll come back again and again.

Kraft Mac & Cheese crap

Don't get $28 stew and potatoes is pathetic. Kids Mac & cheese is from a box and powder cheese.

Guinness French onion soup. Delicious.

Great food, brew, and service. What else can you ask for? As busy as this spot was when we stopped, the bartender was very efficient on all ends from drink making to bringing the food out. It was a perfect vibe you'd want for an Irish pub, with plenty of TVs with many different games on. Definitely give this place a try if you're hungry after hiking the fabulous island!

My family and I grabbed dinner tonight at Doud's and had a really great meal! We loved the decor although the people sitting at the bar were pretty loud. Our server was awesome and so sweet! She was always checking on us and even gave us to-go cups when we left! All of our meals were delicious! I got the fish sandwich with chips and Bleu cheese cole slaw which was amazing! The kids got the chicken fingers with fries and the other got the Doud's House Burger and they both gave their meals a 9/10. My wife got a chopped Bleu cheese salad and she said it was OK, but hey, it's a salad... And a half portion at that. Overall, we'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Food delicious. Great place to escape the rain. I enjoyed sitting in the bay window, people watching. Brynn our server was awesome. Attentive efficient and kind.

We had breakfast here during our stay on Mackinac Island last week. The food and the service were both great! I would definitely recommend it.

We had the Seafood Ravioli and the Fish & Chips. Both were spectacular! The draft Guinness was also excellent.

The service and the food was lovely! One of the better restaurants on the island. We had the fish and chips which was delicious.

Millie's is one of those restaurants that has something for everyone, and will appease everyone,…read morebut to be honest, I forgot what we ordered and ate as soon as we left. I had to look at my photos in order to remember our meal. That's not to say it was bad. Not at all! Just that the only thing I remember is that the prices are slightly higher than I think they should be. (Although, that seems to be the case at every restaurant on Mackinac Island. They have you trapped, and they know it.) We started with the smoked whitefish dip, which is a popular thing in this part of Michigan. It came piping hot with melted cheese on it, and served with crispy pita chips and crostini. I'm glad I tried it! I love me a good meatloaf sandwich, so when I saw meatloaf sliders in the menu, I had to get them. These sliders are made with pretzel buns, which are not my favorite because I feel like they're never soft enough. A nice white bun would have been so much better. I got a side Caesar salad, and it was fine. We also ordered a chicken tenders basket, the Low Carb Platter (just a cheeseburger without a bun and a side of cottage cheese), and a kids' cheeseburger. They do have a kids menu here -- just ask. Millie's gets very busy! We had to wait almost 30 minutes for a table. But it's centrally located in the middle of downtown Mackinac, so I wouldn't expect anything less.

We checked out Millie's on Main for lunch at the recommendation of a staff member (and year-round…read moreresident) at Hotel Iroquois. A great spot, located right where visitors board for the public carriage tours! We stopped in around 12pm and by the time we left, every table was filled. Our party enjoyed a beautiful kale salmon salad, delicious and slightly spicy whitefish tacos with mango salsa, and a pasty with coleslaw and gravy. If I were to go there again, I would definitely get the pasty, hands down.

You do have to take two sets of stairs to get to it. I didn't see an elevator that would get there all the way up there. But if you're able, get there. There are two levels to this bar so maybe the first level is attainable with accessibility and then the top level might not be. Check ahead. This bar is absolutely gorgeous!!! There is a large or dare I say "grand" Chihuly glass chandelier hanging from the center from the upper section to the lower section, so it can be seen from both floors of this small but beautiful bar. We walked into the lower level first and the bartender immediately turned to us with a great big smile and welcomed us to the bar and asked if we wanted anything to drink. The wallpaper on this bar is light and beautiful and big windows look out over the ground towards Lake Huron. I was mesmerized immediately. Then we went upstairs to the upper level and there are 180° views of equally big clean windows at a beautiful sunny day outside was just breathtaking. We sat at a table and a server came over quickly and offered us cocktails and welcomed us to the bar. The service was kind of like being at Disney with impeccable service. I had the Machiatto Martini, and my aunt had a glass of rosé. The macchiato martini had Van Gogh double espresso vodka, Dorda sea salt, caramel, Dorda double chocolate, Frangelico, Amaretto, and Baileys. It was visually, stimulating and delicate and sweet and rich, as expected. I may try to make these at home - ha ha!! The views were spectacular and there was light acoustic guitar music playing on speakers, but not too loud and just a nice place to be in the moment at this magical hotel and have a cocktail either to end the day or end your time at the hotel. I'll never forget it.

He even wished my mom a happy Mother's Day before taking our order, which was a nice touch. We started with the Street Corn Nachos as an appetizer, then ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a grilled portobello mushroom sandwich, both with fries on the side (an additional $4 each). This was an excellent place to bring my mom since she's vegetarian, and the restaurant had plenty of vegetarian-friendly options. The food was excellent, especially the nachos -- the queso was amazing. The restaurant also gives you a lot of customization options, like swapping chips for fries for an extra $4 or adding protein to the nachos for an additional charge. That said, while the nachos were really good, they were still $18 without any protein, which honestly felt overpriced for chips, cheese, and vegetables. We came during lunch service, and overall the food, service, and view made for a great experience. However, it is definitely on the expensive side. Most entrees seemed to range from around $20-30. Still, if you're willing to spend a little more for quality food, generous portions, and a great atmosphere, it's definitely worth visiting.

I just wanted a little (big) glass of red wine and something sweet to cap off the night, and I left satisfied. Key lime pie was the special dessert of the day, so that's what I got. I can't pass up a special dessert that's here today, but might be gone tomorrow. The kitchen didn't just give me a slice of pie: They dusted my plate with powdered sugar in the shape of a horse! It's these little touches that make all the difference, and you can tell that they're not horsing around here. (Or maybe they are?) My glass of Cabernet was great, and I was told that the beer was great, too. They were very busy, considering it was the end of the season. Nevertheless, we got a seat right away, and the service was great. If you visit Seabiscuit Cafe during the evening, you'll see that it's a cozy little spot with dim lighting, where you can relax and have a meal (or just drinks and dessert, like me).
