This place gets packed on Wednesday trivia night, to the point of even requiring a reservation; the first time I tried coming as a walk-in I was denied, which was very surprising to me. We were able to get seated and have dinner with a reservation the second time around. I had the burger with fries, seems like it's a rotating menu every month. It was not bad, the beef was juicy and oily, and came with pickles and tomatoes, but I don't think it was anything special. The style and types of trivia questions were not my favorite either with a lot of focus on pop culture, but it was enjoyable to participate and learn some new things. The service was good, our waitress checked in pretty frequently despite how busy it was.

My first time to The Rabbit Hole and nothing like a little Summer House reunion to introduce you to a new spot! My friend and I met up to watch the final reunion episode that was being streamed at The Rabbit Hole. They leaned into the theme with Summer House themed cocktails and the "Amanda's Side Eye Spritz" was great. We shared some appetizers like the cheese curds, pretzel, and tacos. We wish the volume was a little louder but such a fun experience!

We came to the Rabbit Hole to watch the Padres game and get some grub! We tried a few different things amongst the table, the wings were super good and so were the sandwiches. The corn dip I would pass on next time. Our waitress was super nice!

Nice local bar with great food and drinks! Went last weekend when I was hungover and needed a little hair of the dog, lol. Orion was the bartender and made me an amazing Bloody Maria -- perfect consistency, not too thick. His margarita was perfection too -- not too sweet, with tajin on the rim. Went back a couple days later and Hannah was an awesome bartender as well. Definitely try the elote dip -- so freaking good!

Rabbit Hole hosted a middle school graduation party recently and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, with great variety and quality that kept everyone happy. The drinks are great and flow easily with the service from the back bar. The back patio is spacious and comfortable, perfect for a large group celebration with plenty of room to mingle. But honestly, the standout was the service. Everyone on staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure the event ran smoothly. Highly recommend Rabbit Hole for any big celebration!

Came here with a friend just for a couple of drinks and was reminded why I've always liked this spot. Drinks are solid , nice without being overly "upscale," so it keeps that casual, fun vibe. The indoor/outdoor setup is perfect for a beautiful San Diego day, and the atmosphere just pulls you in. What really stood out this time was the music , totally catered to millennials with all the nostalgic jams that had us vibing the whole time. It felt fun, familiar, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I'll keep in mind when I want good drinks, good vibes, and a little throwback soundtrack.

Arrived late on a rainy day after a street fair was packing up. The place is more bar oriented and it was busy. Even though we could see empty seating, we had to wait about 15 minutes for a seat without reservations. Loud and lots of sports fans for the TV show. We wanted the flat bread, but they were sold out. The beer was good, limited wine options, but some good cocktails. ended up sharing Poke Nachos and another appetizer. Staff were very busy and kept up, but often would yell as they passed by instead of coming to our table. It was ok, the food was better than expected and had more options. I could see how this may be overwhelming when they have live music or weekends. It is not upscale, it is casual and local feel. Indoor and street seating. Parking may be very crazy and limited. Best for drinks, food and Sports or live music.

Great place to watch football with their many TV's. Atmosphere is cool. Service is always great. The food is also very good. In particular their dry rub wings are the bomb. They are dog friendly for the front tables and they have an open air vibe with the large windows up front open.

We were hanging out in Normal Heights with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. The Rabbit Hole was our first gathering spot. Becky and I had heard good things about the place. It lived up to the hype. Upon walking in we were immediately impressed. The place is pretty damn huge. Booths lining the walls, four tops galore and a great front patio. The entire front of the building opens up with giant "garage door" roll-up doors. It was a beautiful San Diego Saturday, so we found a spot on the patio to accommodate all 10 of us. Service was bit slow at first, but there were just two women working the entire place and one was the bartender, so it was all up to Leya (not sure if I spelled her name correctly) to handle the rest. It was pretty busy too for 11:30 in the morning. After our initial wait and order, Leya was spot on. We were never left waiting. It was mostly just drinks for everyone, but Bex and I ordered wings for the group. We chose the Jalapeño Garlic Butter with sides of ranch and bleu cheese for dipping. WOW! Fantastic wings! Some of the best we've had anywhere. So flavorful with a great char on them and a nice heat from the Jalapeño. We loved that they were dry rubbed and not dripping with sauce. Jalapeño-y, garlicky goodness! We don't find ourselves in Normal Heights very often. I have a feeling that might change. See you at the Rabbit Hole! Dry-Rubbed Wings $14.00/6 wings$22.00/12 wings Our Semi-Famous Dry-Rubbed Wings. Choose from Jalapeño Garlic Butter, Lemon Pepper or Garlic Parmesan.

First off, there is only street parking, so you may need to park down the street. Also, there are parking lots close by, but don't park there or you may get towed. The place has a good bar type vibe with high top seating throughout and some seating around a small fire pit outside. We were seated promptly and had our drink and food orders taken right away. We ordered various wings, the sweet corn elite and 5 cheese mac. The food came out pretty quickly and all of it tasted great. The lemon pepper dry rub wings are very lemony and peppery lol. The only issue we had, which wasn't really as issue, was we ordered the elote dip, which comes with tortilla chips, but what we got was a side of sweet corn elote, that doesn't come with chips. We asked about it and they were willing to give us chips and switch it out, but we elected to just stay with what we got. Make sure if you want one or the other, that you clarify because I can see how it gets confused. Other than the at, everything was great, the service, the food and the atmosphere. Even after we finished our group hung around to chat, and they were cool with that (the place wasn't full, so we weren't taking up tables). When I'm in the area again, I will definitely eat here. The servers were all so friendly and it's just an inviting place.

The Rabbit Hole in Normal Heights is a fantastic spot with a quirky, inviting vibe that makes it stand out in the neighborhood. The drinks are creative and well crafted, and the food menu offers a fun mix of flavorful options that pair perfectly with a night out. The service is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. The cozy yet lively space makes it a great spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual date night. Whether you're there for the cocktails, the bites, or just the unique ambiance, The Rabbit Hole delivers a memorable experience.

I stopped by on a Monday night around 7 PM for their free bingo event. The place has a great vibe with indoor seating, a front patio, a back patio, and a solid bar right in the center. Service was excellent! Our waitress checked in on us regularly. They have a good beer selection too. They also have a dog menu with a chicken or beef patty. I ordered the ahi poke tuna bowl based on our waitress's recommendation, but unfortunately, it was pretty bad. It was drenched in sauce, which made it taste heavy and low-quality. I could barely eat it. That said, this is still a fun spot overall. Street parking can be hit or miss, but it's usually just a short walk. Worth stopping in for a drink and the atmosphere.

The last time I went to your establishment was for an afternoon game, a year ago. I gotta say, it was hard to focus on said game, with all the DJ club music being played, intermittently. Is that still a thing you do? thank you.
