Clem's is getting busier and busier! We rolled in on a Thursday and the patio was full! Except for one of the high top tables in the front. The last time we were here, we actually was able to sit inside. It does get a little loud when there's a lot of people but Cako didn't mind. We just sat patiently, sipping our wine. The two young women working were great! Handled the whole crowd easily! We did miss seeing Pete because he always gives Cako little dog treats that she looks forward too! After a while, the pepperoni pizza came out! Love the crust and crispy pepperonis! And, will you look at that, one of the workers brought out a couple of dog biscuits. There was much joy in the land. Great neighborhood spot. Clem's Tap House has a warm, welcoming vibe and you can tell it's a true local hangout because so many guests seemed to know each other when they walked in. They have 50 beers on tap, which is a huge draw. The food was excellent--our Pepperoni Picante Pizza had the perfect amount of sauce and a generous amount of pepperoni. The Boar's Head Chicken Sliders with crispy fries were also really good. Service was friendly and attentive. I was out for a walk this evening and noticed that the Clem's parking lot is almost fully open! It's a Spring 2026 miracle! This is the original(?) location of the two that I know of. The other one is in Talmadge. This one is located in a small business park at the corner of Adams and Kensington Dr. It's a semi busy street. Parking is limited in the lot. There's maybe 20ish spots that is shared with several businesses so you're better off finding parking in the neighborhood. When I went, there was construction happening in the parking lot so there was no lot at all. Service was beautiful. Just a ton of lovely people there. It was a slowish sorta night. There was about 7 people inside and a group of 3 outside on the patio. They have mostly the same beers as the other location but you can find 5-7 different ones. I believe their food menu is pretty much the same. Burgers, pizza, chicken tenders, fries, and salads. Will Farrell visited their location so they have a blow up photo of him. The background is rustic and has bottles of wine and liquor all over. Good place. I'd come again. read more

Went for my buddies 50th bday for the first time, loved it! I've always known about this place but just somehow never went. I love the feel of a great small well greeted bar. Bartenders were awesome and friendly even though they were busy slangin' drinks they are still Ontop of their game! I stopped by during the week and am grateful I got to try out this local spot! Their parking lot is under construction but I was able to find a parking spot on the neighborhood just find. They were pretty busy since there was a basketball game on but I was able to get a hard cider inside at the bar pretty quickly. They have a great variety of local beers and wines on tap, and offer some tasty food options. I got to try their cheese pizza, chicken nachos, and Buffalo wings which were my favorite as the sauce was rich and savory without being overwhelming. They have a ton of beers, great selection and a full food menu that pairs amazingly well with said beer. That's all good and well but the bang for my proverbial buck comes by way of their SECOND menu to the right of the main bar, where they have a separate menu of about 20 beers, all of which are Belgians. Came back for a second chance. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. He is one that definitely gets involved in the business and helps out where needed. The bartender was much friendlier and attentive. I really loved that the back end of the house, kitchen staff, jumped right in the front of the house and helped out. While visiting San Diego, we met some friends near our AIRBNB to enjoy a relaxed dinner and drinks. From the start, the Green Apple Brie Pizza had me at "Hello". It was drizzled with honey and topped with pecans. It was truly a triumph. In fact, I came home after my vacation and recreated it adding some cooked bacon to my pizza pie. Our friends enjoyed tap beer, in particular a nitro beer which is smoother. I opted for the house Pinot Noir, which was soft and easy, with a very generous pour. Our server was a bit forgetful, forgetting the water and beer refills regularly, but aside from that, she was pleasant. There were no shortage of sport tvs broadcasting the football game , which was nice. This place had a very laid back easy vibe which we really enjoyed. Pizzas are great - highly recommend the Baconator - and the paninis are excellent. Get the tater tots to go with them. It's an odd shaped spaced with a nice outdoor seating area (sad that we lost the extended seating in the parking spots so convenient and a nice positive outcome from the pandemic). He was patient while we chose our food and helped us pick beer from the very long list. I got the Cuban sandwich and my boyfriend got the chicken tacos. Both were great. The bartender checked on us often which we appreciate. The patio was crowded so we sat inside at the bar area. We felt like we were at a pub in Germany. During my trip to Belgium I had discovered the wonders of Beer. I was looking for a place where I could continue my journey and expand my knowledge. My Uncle and Aunt both recommended that I check out Clem's, I'm so glad that I did. I've been coming to Clem's for a couple of years now - and frankly it never disappoints. They have a very diverse selection of Beer . There is literally something for everyone. Myself I prefer the darker Stouts, Porters - but what's really amazing is the Belgium room. Which houses a bunch of best Belgium Beer on tap. It's pretty funny just how accurate their beer recommendations have been. I've come in plenty of times not entirely sure what to drink. Paul one of the owners knows exactly my tastes and has made some simply wonderful spot on recommendations. Especially the Firestone & Walker Parabola Stout (Bourbon Barrel Aged) which has turned into my current fav beer. While they have beer - they also have plenty of great food. I always order their Buffalo Chicken Pizza with no onions and no celery (Andrew style). Simply put this is my fav Pizza in San Diego. My wife orders the Veggie Panini and always loves it. Plus there is plenty of food for the kids. The atmosphere is always relaxing / inviting and it's very family friendly. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor dinning. Everyone here is so nice - it's a real pleasure to drop by. Be sure to also check out the Clem's Bottle House which is right next door. I love this spot! I was riding my bike by one evening and saw the lights out on patio and thought, how nice does that look? I stopped by the following weekend and really love this place! The bartender is so friendly, nice pours, excellent selection on beer, wine and a full bar! We enjoyed our Hog Panini and tots on the side. The bar inside is beautiful to pull up a stool and take a seat, sip and enjoy your conversation. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! Don't let the parking lot scare you away, it's so pleasant to sit out there, bit maybe just avoid the lot by parking in the neighborhood and enjoy the walk. Great dog friendly spot too! All orders are taken at the bar and then they bring it to your table, which are first come, first served. We liked our Pizza Port beers.
