John honored the price and his technician came out the next business day to do the service. He did a great job and he even power blowered all the soil cores off of the driveway, which he stated is something they do for all of their aeration customers. They don't accept credit cards unless the person can come by and physically swipe your card. They will accept checks and Zelle but not Venmo or PayPal. In addition, I kept waiting for an ETA for when they would stop by. They mentioned that it would be later in the day. They never texted or called and just knocked at the door. I had to scramble to reschedule a work meeting that was supposed to start 20 minutes after they arrived. It seems like they would do good enough work but the hassle of scheduling and payment will have me looking elsewhere when we have future needs.

The fact is, h2oRx is a quintessential 5-star company. From Kayla, who professionally manages appointments, to the technician's helper who does all the heavy lifting and digging, h2oRx has the most skilled, customer focused employees I have encountered in the DFW Metroplex. Their office staff and technicians are simply the best! For example, my regular sprinkler technician of 10 years actually located and partially uncovered my leaking valve. When he saw the complexity and amount of digging required to replace it, he candidly admitted the repair was beyond his expertise. Raul and his helper from h2oRx did a masterful job of replacing the valve (see photo). Kayla had already told me what the repair would cost ($267.80) and the h2oRx team's arrival window. There were absolutely no surprises. In fact, Kyle Jensen was correct when he told me his company could have charged more for this job. I might have grumbled a bit, but the quality of work on this complex job would have absolutely justified a higher price. What caught me off guard was being charged the same amount for a second valve repair performed during the same visit--a simpler, quicker repair that required no digging. In retrospect, I overreacted to the pricing issue. h2oRx's pricing policies are ultimately their business, and had I known ahead of time that the second repair would also cost $267.80, I would have approved it anyway. So, if you want the absolute best sprinkler system evaluation and repair service in the Metroplex, I strongly recommend h2oRx. We had a large scope (our property is over 7 acres) and spent about half a day walking the property and discussing our thoughts. When we received the design, it was almost perfect! But we knew the design was the "easy" part...the execution of the design was the difficult and more important part of the project. Well, we can hardly find the right words for how smooth the installation happened! The installation Team was absolutely amazing! The Supervisors communicated great during the project but what really exceeded our expectations was the very few questions they had to ask us. That was because the Design was so well documented, the install Team had a near perfect roadmap to make the design come to life. All members of the team were friendly, professional and had a strong desire to satisfy our needs. They also exhibited tremendous respect for our property. They were careful with driving their large trailers and they cleaned up the property EVERY day during the install! That's right! They cleaned up every single day! One of the biggest challenges we've had with other Landscapers was poor planting techniques which resulted in plants dying. This is one of James Landscaping's biggest strengths. They took great care when preparing the beds before planting. They removed about 8-10 inches of soil and replaced with an excellent mix of soil and compost. We know this will result in all the plants developing strong roots for lasting health in our crazy Texas weather. We highly recommend James Landscaping for your landscaping projects especially very large ones. Unfortunately we know the initial and ongoing costs of poor landscaping (especially for large properties). I had a hard time walking on the existing walkway and had to be careful not to trip or fall. As the new walkway was being installed, I noticed the workers using string, levels and tape measures to ensure the walkway would be leveled. I also noted the amount of time they spent to chip away each flagstone so that it beautifully fit together. It made me feel that I was truly getting a custom built walkway. Since completion, I have felt very safe walking on the walkway and never get the sense that I'm walking on flagstones. My yard had several areas where I had a hard time growing plants. They filled in empty areas with native plants. They did an incredible job and I'm very, very pleased.
