Title: Excellent Technicians, Nonsensical Billing Practices I hired h2oRx for two separate service visits this year. Initially, I spent $1,033 for a detailed system evaluation under the owner's direct supervision. It was worth every penny! Kyle is a genius when it comes to evaluating sprinkler systems and recommending effective upgrades and repairs. My most recent experience, however, revealed a serious issue with the company's billing practices and the owner's response to reasonable customer inquiries. On May 12, 2026 an h2oRx technician named Raul and his assistant replaced a defective sprinkler valve. This was a complicated job involving extensive digging and approximately 1.5 hours of labor (see uploaded photo). He had to replace the entire valve assembly. The total charge was $267.80, which I considered more than fair for the amount of flawless workmanship and materials involved. Raul identified a second defective valve during this same service call. In this case, the repair was much easier: he simply replaced the components inside the existing valve body. The repair took less than 20 minutes and required no digging. h2oRx charged an identical flat rate of $267.80 for this 20-minute part-swap! I called the owner, Kyle Jensen, to ask why a short secondary repair performed during the same service call was billed identically to the much larger complete valve assembly replacement. Rather than discussing my pricing concern constructively, he very quickly became defensive, condescending and arrogant. Our one-sided conversation ended with his offer to completely refund the second $267.80 charge if I agreed to "part ways" as customer and contractor. I readily accepted Kyle's offer. The next morning, Kyle sent me an email with a farraginous "Refund Letter" attached (see uploaded photo). The letter is heavy-handed and full of amateurish intimidation tactics, such as pseudo-legal sounding threats about defamation and "loss of business." It attempts to condition the $267.80 refund on my signing away my right to post honest reviews and my right to the 2 year warranty on the newly installed sprinkler valve. I refused to sign Kyle's "Refund Letter," and told him to keep his $267.80 refund. Consider it a gift. Or, better yet, give it to Raul as a bonus for a job well done. I will retain my right to tell the truth. Pros: * Professional, highly-skilled technicians and quality repair work * Good system knowledge. The h2oRx evaluation is an extremely worthwhile service, especially for older sprinkler systems like mine. Cons: * Nonsensical billing practices * Extremely poor handling of customer concerns. This company sucks. Kyle puts in a good face. However, when questioned about his work he gets very angry and throws his equipment in his hands in the ground like a little baby. His charge was $ 2900 after his first evaluation of $2667. He is a total jerk and salesman at best trying hard to make money as he scams you. please do not trust this guy. he is fake and full of BS in your system. I am now responding on Kyle's response. After my response for him to come by after his work the day after. He then shows up in the afternoon and doesn't even give me a chance to explain what I need him to look at. He walks into my garage and turns on the system. He then asks what is the problem? I then say let me explain. I then start to tell him and he gets so upset and throws his flags and bag on the ground like a child. He obviously has a mental problem and can't accept constructive criticism. Then he responds to me to say I hope you can return to a mental state after he acted like a child because I questioned his behavior and work ethic. Come on now, I can't explain this any better on his reactions and price for the work done. $2900 with an original quote of $2667 then it magically changed. Then he responds with let the lord bless you. People who respond like that are not trustworthy or honest. Once again why would I post this comment if it never happened. This is the absolute truth abut this guy and his company. He just gives you his opinion on your system and keeps raising the price. He couldn't even send me an email in his quote. I've been a customer of H2ORx for quite a few years. I've previously posted about how great their service has been, with service techs who communicate their schedule and do really good work. I signed up for regular service calls and I got really lucky this week when - as part of the pre-summer inspection - located a below-ground leak (where my home water line connected to the irrigation line). most likely a result of our recent freeze/thaw, I'm sure that if H2ORx hadn't been out to my house, the leak would've cost me a lot of money in wasted water. Here are the facts regarding my experience with H2O RX. In March of 2023 I discovered there was a leak in the back flow controller of my irrigation system. I contacted H2O RX and arranged for a technician to come look at it. On inspection the technician discovered that the RPZ valve was broken. He informed me that they did not carry RPZ valves on their truck but he could replace it with a different valve, a PVB valve. I agreed and the technician installed the PVB valve. H2O RX charged me $772.50, which I paid. In December of 2024 the City of Benbrook made a routine inspection and testing of my back flow controller. I was informed by the inspector that the backflow controller failed for two reasons. Firstly, the City of Benbrook requires any installation or repair work of backflow controllers to be permitted by the city. The repair of my backflow controller in March 2023 was not permitted. Secondly, the City of Benbrook requires RPZ valves only to be installed. I contacted the H2O RX scheduler and billing person to discuss the issue. The scheduler informed me they could do the work. She informed me their standard price for installing an RPZ was $1,323.55. I would receive a credit for the original $772.50, leaving a balance of$551.05. I informed her I did not think that was a reasonable cost since their work they had already done was not done correctly, in accordance with the city code and needed to be corrected. I suggested I should only have to pay the difference of the cost of the valve. A few days later I had a conversation with the owner Kyle. Kyle informed me that it was unreasonable for me to expect him to eat the cost of the original valve and then labor to install the new valve. Once again I communicated I thought I should only have to pay the difference in the cost of the part. The City of Benbrook had given me a deadline for the backflow controller to be in compliance with the city code. I told Kyle to send his technician out to do the job. When the technician completed the work I repeated my disagreement on the cost and before he left he said, "I think they'll just bill you for the difference in the cost of the part." I reached out to two comparable irrigation companies in my area and receive quotes on what they would charge to install an RPZ valve. Both companies quoted me a price that was half of what H2O RX charged. I sent an e-mail to Kyle with the details of the research I had done and reiterating that the job had not been done properly. I repeated I did not think $551.05 was a reasonable charge. I offered to pay $275.60. Based on my research this was more than the difference in the price for the respective valves. I have 40 years experience as a consultant for small businesses and I've run a small business myself. It is not uncommon for our a business and its customers to have a disagreement on how a job was performed and the cost of that job. When these situations arise it is common for the two parties to negotiate a mutually beneficial resolution. Kyle's response did not take that form. I received an angry, hostile, and abusive 12 minute phone call in which I was ridiculed, belittled and insulted. Common among the insults was "I did not understand how normal business works" or "I was too broke to pay the bill and was trying to get out of it." Upon listening to Kyle's rantings for 12 minutes the phone call was ended. After some additional thoughts and the fact that $275 will I have no impact on my finances, I paid the total invoice. After paying the invoice I sent Kyle another e-mail. I encouraged him to consider there may be some deeper issues inside him that caused him to react with such anger and hostility towards me, and wished him well. read more

Beware of this company. Both times we had them come out to work on our system, they have left without fixing the problem, only to have to call them back to do more repairs at more money. The first time the owner himself told me that the guy that did the initial repair lied and didn't really check all the zones before he left. The second time the guy that did the repair was rude to my daughter saying that everything was working fine. When I got home, the same zone I originally called about still wasn't working. I called the company back and the same crew came back out and one of the workers admitted they checked all of them, but the zone I called about never worked. They did the repair and charged us another several hundred dollars. Two months later now, the same area isn't working. We call another sprinkler repair company to come out and they say there was a "temporary fix" done the first time. We called and left a message with H2oRx and the owner called back. He not only refused to come back out to check what the other company was talking about, but actually accused us of being difficult to work with. Kyle Jensen of H2ORX is very unhappy with my negative review (11/6). He has harassed me for over 6 weeks - and counting. I'm a chronically ill, disabled widow, so I'm an easy target for bullies. From his latest email (12/17), "If you wish for us ... to go away, then we need you to delete your reviews." I have maintained that I want NO contact with his company. He has yelled at me over the phone; I have a witness who could hear at some distance, and also on a voice message, which I kept. He has harassed me with emails and phone calls ( I can document 8 calls in about two weeks but there were more), and even shown up at my door - despite my letting him know that he was not welcome. There's more to this story. I am now very much afraid of him. I called the police department twice, but they were not helpful. One officer suggested criminal prosecution. Bully: a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who are weaker. Harassment: aggressive pressure or intimidation. Extortion: the practice of obtaining something through force or threats. Trespass: enter the owner's land or property without permission. I stand by my original negative review, as well as this one. I pray God will soften his heart so he will leave me alone, safe in my home. read more

They helped repair our existing system to water evenly over our entire yard and reducing our water consumption by it being more efficient and teaching us how to schedule our system to reduce over the months during fall and winter while increasing in the spring and summer. If I could give 10 stars I would. After have irrigation issues and that could not be fixed by 2 different service companies, I finally came across H2O. H2O diagnosed and fixed my irrigation problem easily. My irrigation problems resulted in a monster water bill, but H2O was able to decrease my bill by 400%.
