My husband and I stayed at the Ramble this past weekend and wow... the moment we arrived we were instantly captivated by the incredible hospitality of the staff and the immaculate design and interior. The Ramble Hotel is one-of-a-kind. It is gorgeously chic and was the perfect place for us to enjoy a 24-hour vacation with one another. We stayed in one of the king rooms that had an amazing view of the RiNo district! The main lobby space was pure magic. We loved watching the atmosphere shift dramatically from the morning to night. In the morning, you get to slowly start the day feeling as if you're in a French bistro enjoying breakfast and a lovely cup of coffee. In the evening, the lights are dim and you get an upscale dining and cocktail experience with the world-class Death and Company. I could sing praises of this hotel for days! We had a great stay at the Ramble Hotel. The staff was really nice from the moment we walked in, greeting us outside, helping us with our bags, and showing us to our adorable room with two twin bunk beds. After we let them know we had a terrible experience during our reservation at the hotel bar (the drinks are great, the service was worse than horrible) they sent us a little champagne and a note wishing us a great night. They did NOT have to do that, it's clear the management of the hotel is separate from the management of the bar because all of our interactions with the hotel staff were stellar. I highly recommend this as a hotel in a great area, but suggest make your dinner and drink reservations elsewhere. read more

Probably my favorite hotel that I've ever stayed at. The service was undeniably the best I've had and everyone was super friendly. My boyfriend and I were only here one night but we both wish we could've stayed longer. The hotel is in a wonderful location and the Death & Co. restaurant hidden inside was to die for. Lovely boutique hotel, with a warm and inviting staff. Eco conscious, and very hip spot. We had a four night stay and found the location extremely convenient. Some items to be aware of: they have a tea kettle in the room to make French press coffee, would like to see more tea/decaf amenities available, hours for dining are strictly adhered to and in room dining is not available 24/7. Chromecast is available in the rooms, they do not have phones an the rooms which seems reasonable since we mostly all use cellphones. The bathroom has a barn door and does not provide sufficient privacy, we split our time in lobby or fitness center to accommodate. Ultimately for the price, I would like to have the hotel provide some thoughtful daily amenities such as a local baked good/confection, tea, higher quality linens, more water replenishment, and expanded times for dining. I also found it weird that the room evacuation plan was not posted on the interior side of the room door, nor was the king room really designed to provide a proper work space. If you are planning on working, you would need to go into the lobby (music is too loud for professional conference calls), or go to another business like the shared space at Milk & Honey, which is what I ended up doing. Death & Co is very tasty, and glad we had the panisse before it was pulled off the menu the next day. read more

It's all in the details and the Ramble knows it. Such a cute boutique hotel. From a design standpoint, it's complete perfection. What a great blend of old and new, glam meets industrial, moody color scheme decor-wise, wonderful ambient lighting in the evening. The walls in the lobby/bar area are dreamy, not sure if it's plaster or textured wallpaper, but I freaking love it. If you're looking for a moody wedding venue in Denver this is your place. I haven't seen the event space in person but it just has that jewel tone boho vibe. The pictures would be amazing. We just moved in down the street but feel like whenever we have visitors in town we'll end up staying at the Ramble. The bar: A+. Service is great. Drinks are delish. Bartenders are lovely. The coffee bar: A. Service was wonderful. I love that Oatmilk is everywhere in Denver!! TY!! read more

I can't say enough about this place! I will begin with the people. Usually, when a property receives the buzz, that Ramble has, the staff begins to cop big attitude. Not only is it the coolest place to stay, but Death and Company has been the hottest arrival in Denver since Peyton Manning! I don't know how they've done it! The staff in the front!! Both at Death, and Ramble... and even at the bar at the mezzanine!! All so nice and accommodating... I kept looking for the attitude!! I was wowed!! Speaking of wow...try the fried chicken skewers !! Please note that this review is JUST for my experience trying to contact the events staff at The Ramble. I've never stayed there but I have enjoyed some fabulous food and drinks at Death & Co. Nearly two weeks ago I submitted an events inquiry form and have not heard anything back. Earlier this week I called the number listed on the contact page and the voicemail message suggested to email rather than leave a message if I wanted a faster response, so I emailed the address provided with a few more details about the event I was trying to plan. I'm so incredibly disappointed that no one has reached out to me, as The Ramble was my top choice for this event. I recognize that it's probably a very in-demand space, but for initial contact to take this long is, in my opinion, inexcusable. read more

I stayed the The Ramble for a one night stay while passing through Denver. I was very impressed with the decor, the friendly staff, and the easy walking distance to a number of bars/restaurants. The bar in the lobby serves amazing cocktails and gives off a cozy vibe. I was a little disappointed in my rooms location. On the back of the hotel there is an open air patio bar that is surrounded by rooms. The proximity of the rooms to the bar make it so that anyone at the bar can see directly into your room very clearly. This was only a minor inconvenience. But it was something I wasn't expecting. If I am ever back in Denver I will definitely stay here again. read more

GORGEOUS hotel and great location!! HOWEVER, if you are booking rooms for your wedding, just know that you are not allowed to take any photos inside, apart from your room! I'm a wedding photographer and I have shot in most hotels and venues in Denver, and even though the couple paid for multiple rooms we were not allowed to take any pictures in the Lobby per the "Death + Co" restrictions, which the couple was never told about. The day manager was really sweet about communicating these restrictions to me when she saw me scouting out picture ideas in the Lobby, and snd she did make an exception for us to use the staircase area for the first look, but it was clear that we had to be really fast and then get outta there. The wedding couple was pretty bummed as they booked the Ramble BECAUSE it is so cool looking and would be a great place to do portraits to avoid the summer heat. The bosses came through when we were doing their first look (we were near the manager's office door) and made it really uncomfortable for us. The whole 15 minutes we took photos we felt like we had broken in and were in trouble the whole time. Such a shame as the staff is SO nice and the hotel is so beautiful it is a real bummer we only have pics from in the rooms, in a little hallway, and a couple on the patio. read more

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience at the Ramble hotel. Everyone we encountered who worked there was so kind and helpful, it really made our stay, especially during Covid times. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and we were grateful to have them make a reservation for us at Death and Co the night we stayed. The cocktails were delicious and artfully crafted and the food was really good as well (favs were the burger and fried chicken). We loved the vibes and will definitely be staying again next time we find ourselves in Denver! This was my first time to Denver and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. The ambience was perfect, swanky and stylized. We stayed in the bunk bed room, it was small but no need for anything bigger. The room room key was a real key inside a leather pouch. Every time I grabbed it and headed for the elevator I got an invigorating whiff of leather. Ahhmazing. We stayed at the Ramble for a long weekend (Thursday-Monday). The reservation process was easy. I did have some trouble locating parking information but I did get a (delayed) response from a worker explaining that they had valet for overnight purposes at 30.00 a night. We took advantage of the valet 3 of the 4 nights. A bit overpriced considering the cost of the stay, but parking is tough in this area. The room was comfortable & beautifully designed, but one thing to consider is bringing your own coffee grounds and creamer of choice because they give you a small amount for the French press they have. The area is perfect for walking to restaurants and cafes. We were also in a good location to get to Boulder easily as well as Red Rocks. We had a small hiccup with our TV in room but the staff was very helpful. read more

Absolutely not. Walking to distance to great bars, food, and cool street art. - must try the DC Burger - amazing - must try the pizza across the street Cart-Driver - also amazing. - also a solid food market 2 blocks away. Has it all. Cons: - the regular rooms are strangely designed. The open closet is inconveniently located in the bathroom. next to the toilet and across from the shower. This doesn't make sense. - if you open the blinds to the windows in your room then the people hanging out in the garden or other rooms can then easily see in to your room, limiting your privacy. Not great. Staff: Overall very good. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and helpful. So are the hosts, bartenders, and bell men. However, there was an incident with the assistant GM which could've been avoided. I brought food in from outside and asked the host in the lobby of the hotel if I can sit in one of the empty tables - whole place empty - said yes, wasn't a problem. The AGM came over with an attitude asking if I'm a guest at the hotel. I said yes. Then told me I can't eat here. I said host said I can. Then he said don't eat here again for the rest of your stay. This is a case of someone with a little bit of power being an ass instead of recognizing that he is really in a position to provide service to guests. The AGM should've spoken with and handled the situation with his own staff to understand the situation before approaching someone. Talking down to a guest and making them feel unwelcomed in the lobby of the hotel they're paying for should never happen - it all could've been avoided if he just spoke with his staff first. Given the worlds current situation with Covid-19 the Ramble Hotel did a phenomenal job making us feel safe while still providing a great experience. The service was top notch, the aesthetic to the whole place was a total vibe, the outlets were sturdy, the artwork was eclectic, and the rooms were elegant, and their D&C burger was finger licking good! The hotel is located in a cool and walkable neighborhood, not to mention right across the street from the Topo Designs store. Absolutely recommend. The decor is on point and they took time in each detail in our room. Seriously a welcome perfect unique stay. Every person was welcoming and friendly including bartenders, baristas, manager, valet and housekeeping. Never have I experienced such a happy and good natured group of people. Wish we could stay here longer! We ordered their grasshopper mint Eskimo dessert at the bar and brought it up to our room and it was perfect. Also great location downtown. Wanted to do a little something special for my birthday so my fiancé booked us a room at The Ramble for the night. Best decision ever. Every single person from the bartender at Death + Co (which was sooo freakin good) to the valet went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay amazing. Not only was the room super cool, but it felt like home right away. Especially during COVID times where everything feels a bit strange, it was such a treat to just kick back, relax, and have some fun. Special shoutout to Carola who was not only lovely to chat with, but so so helpful with literally any request we had. Truly our hero. She also brought me a delicious cinnamon roll with a candle in it for breakfast and helped to make the entire weekend one to remember. This is a great hotel. The building is beautiful and the rooms have a whimsical but tasteful decor. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. We were sorry that we couldn't fully explore the restaurant and bar due to our own COVID preferences (per Colorado rules, both venues were open in a limited capacity and people seemed to be enjoying themselves). We did get some cocktails to go from Death & Co., both ordering custom drinks off-menu. The drinks were well-made to our specifications and were delicious. With only one person ahead of me in line, it took over 20 minutes to get acknowledged by a bartender. I wanted to get one of their signature cocktails, but I didn't want to wait all night. A great bar and restaurant that serves cocktails, local beer and tasty gastronomy. Ok, you've seen that mentioned in other reviews. Here's what brings it all together and makes The Ramble Hotel a first-class property: the staff. Every time you walk into a place described as above these types of places define the word "pretentious." You know, the bearded waiter or nose-pierced hostess who act like they're doing you a favor by being there. Honestly, I expected that here. To our surprise, that does not exist here. The staff is friendly, welcoming and cool. They make you feel like you're a regular. In short, the staff makes this place. Yes it's designed very well, but the staff brings it all together. From the valet to the front desk to the bar to waiters... these folks are impressive. Management creates the environment to foster this. To that, I say congratulations. You have a true gem here. The fact is that I could no longer travel because I needed to fill the gap at work due to a death and the hotel was unwilling to consider the circumstance, which was entirely out of my control. However, after informing me that the reservation could not be canceled or exchanged, I received an email cancellation from the hotel the next day stating "we're sad to hear your plans have changed this time around" which means you resold the room that was actually still mine since it couldn't be canceled and still didn't refund me or offer a change. Heartless. I was excited to stay here as had heard about the hotel and liked the location and look. However, make sure you don't have a real life emergency like DEATH that prevents you from going on a vacation that was prepaid because this hotel will not even consider adjusting their policy to allow you to change your reservation towards a future stay. I wasn't even asking for a refund. Just to be able to put my $1,000+ towards a future stay within a specified period of their choice. Nope! Nothing! Using the excuse that they are a small boutique hotel. Well, you lost my future business and everyone that I know as I will share your unkindness every chance I get. I should never have considered straying from my usual hotel in Denver, the beautiful and always customer focused, the ART Hotel. Lesson learned. I liked Death and Company better than SuiteA mostly because I got very cold at SuiteA and it was really dark. Drinks were great at both. Our room at the Ramble Hotel was lovely and service from everyone was top notch! Only reason not a five was how cold and dark it was in SuiteA and breakfast was a little odd. read more

While searching for a convenient, comfy place to crash for one nite we came across this 50 room hotel opened in May 2018. Even tho we spent little time at the hotel (during our 19 hours in Denver) it was lovely. We managed a lite snack before the show (Beck at #redrocks) and a delicious breakfast before departing. Nice staff, beautiful room and conveniently located to all things downtown Denver. And I should mention an easy ride from there to Red Rocks. read more

Death and Company... oh how I was stoked to try your new location here in Denver! Honestly- there are hands down better cocktail bars in the city. There are much better tasting, more aptly priced, and well rounded drinks at Union Lodge, B&CG, Tatarian, Adrift, and St Ellie... but that might be just my humble opinion. Overpriced first of all, (really, NYC prices in Denver? -$14-16 a drink) We had a larger party and all got different things to try. The most remarkable drink was the gramophone, but others were too sugary, some too flat... They may need to work on them a bit. Skip the food for now, nothing we had was worth trying. I'm curious to see how the the other bars in Ramble fare once they open also. Currently seems as If they rushed into opening and have a ton of kinks to work out. That all said, the space IS gorgeous and Caleb on staff was extremely helpful and informative in helping us choose drinks, he's was the best! In the end the experience was very meh. They also just opened so I'll have to try again in a couple of months. At the end of the day, it really comes down to the prices vs the quality. The most expensive cocktail bar in Denver better have the most mind blowing cocktails. At a lower price range I'd say their cocktails are good. But where they stand now, there's better places to spend your money. read more
