Service is exceptional. The building on the other hand needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. We actually had to change rooms because the shower didn't drain. But the ultimate reason I would never go back is you can hear what is going on in other peoples bathrooms from your room. I was very excited about staying at this new hotel. We arrived for my boyfriend's birthday weekend celebration and the lobby didn't disappoint. Our room was as cute and cozy as pictured although a little smaller than expected. So I was Good. But then . . . I realized they had preauthorized approximately $1,500.00 on my credit card. Now this would not had rubbed me wrong if they had just said what the were going to do. At check-in they said we are going to hold $100.00 per night for incidentals, which was unusual but it didn't bother me because they told me. But they said nothing about preauthorizing any other amount, and I felt they should have advised about exactly what they were going to do. I went to use the card and found they had charged the first night, the "incidentals", and preauthorized the entire estimated amount of the stay. Many hotels charge on a daily basis so they preauthorize daily, but if you preauthorize the full amount and the person checks-out then it takes days sometimes to release the hold. I didn't like the way they handled the matter at all. I was entertained by their attempts to tell us what was "standard" as though we needed to be instructed. They also wanted to charge $72.00 for leaving early, which they waived. We checked-out went to a better hotel, better location, better amenities, better price, and prepaid the full stay, because that was the deal and we agreed. read more

Words can not describe the experience we had at the Ramble. Everyone was very nice and accommodating to our every whim. We were passing through to Moab, UT and found this amazing place on hotels tonight. The price for the room, experience and the amazing service is well worth it. We were out for a rare early date night and decided to come to the Ramble for a drink and appetizer. We appreciated the design, reminded us of Ace Hotel in NYC and is a nice change up from the industrial design, which dominates the Denver aesthetic. The acoustics were good, we could hear the music, but also each other and the bartender, who was lovely. I enjoyed my cocktail and our appetizer very much. Glad we came in! read more

This review is in reference to their bar, not the hotel itself. Last night (11/29), a few friends and I went here to celebrate a birthday and we walked in around 6/6:30 and the entire bar was full which was no problem as it was a Thursday night and we were understanding of that so we put our name down and went across the street for dinner. We were at dinner for about an hour and a half and still hadn't received a text that our table/seating area was ready. We went back over and the hostesses and man standing at the front were rude and unhelpful when we asked how our table was looking as far as wait time. We ended up going elsewhere. I was really looking forward to seeing what this place was like, but just like everything else in Denver, it was overcrowded with less than satisfactory service. read more

They gave me a small bottle of champagne saying that was adequate compensation but refused to give me the $40 difference between the cost of the corner room and the standard room. We stayed here about a month back and had a very disappointing stay. First off, the hotel has physical keys instead of keycards. The keys also had this heavy holster item on them which made it inconvenient to carry. We ended up leaving the keys at the front desk when we left for the evening. I don't understand why they don't have a keycard system. We were also warned to not push down on the door handles when entering the room and they were for decoration only. Room had a view of a demolished house and yard. Instead of cable service, they have a Chromecast App for streaming. This did not work for us. Night shift attendant tried to fix, but then told us to call the company hosting the Chromecast service to work with them. Why should I work with the hosting company? That is the hotel's responsibility to fix, not mine. There are no phones in the rooms, you have to use your cell phone to call the front desk. Since the Chromecast was not working, we were told we'd get a $50 credit. At the desk, the receptionist told us we would just be getting a credit instead for the Valet. I told her what credit we were expecting, but she said I was mistaken. Just a real lousy stay in most respects, we definitely won't be staying here again. It felt like the sort of hotel were the owners and designers of the hotel acted like everything they did was great and unique, but in reality those ideas made the hotel inconvenient to stay at. Lousy service doesn't help either. I paid over $300 for a room here, I expect better. read more

Our stay at The Ramble was beyond anything we expected. We travel often and I can honestly say that we have never encountered such exceptional attentiveness and personalized service as we received at this beautiful hotel. Carola, the Front Office Manager, greeted us every morning with a smile and excellent suggestions for locations to eat and explore. We were also greeted periodically throughout the day, and consistently asked about any specific needs or requests we might have to make our stay more enjoyable. Her service was above and beyond any staff member I have ever come across while traveling. She absolutely made our stay memorable, and we would choose this hotel over any other just to experience this warm and welcoming service. We felt like we were at home. Our room was beautiful, cozy and clean, and we spent quite a bit of time while in the room sitting at the very well placed comfortable chairs right by the giant window. The windows opened, which was great, so we were able to also enjoy the fresh Colorado air. The bed was comfortable, there was a good variety of beverages in the refrigerator, as well as provisions (snacks). The Covid guidelines were being adhered to with great care, and we never felt uncomfortable spending time within the spaces of the hotel. Great job to all on the team at this incredibly unique location, we will be back! read more

Was a guest at the hotel and called down to the front desk to reserve a table for breakfast. Front desk tells me it's open seating for breakfast and to sit anywhere, servers will come to you. Wife and I sit down and within 5 minutes are asked to move because the table is reserved with 4 walk-ins in tow and tables open everywhere. read more

We stayed here the night of our wedding and this hotel is incredible!!! Such friendly staff- literally everyone we interacted with was helpful and conversational and wonderful!! They gave us a bottle of champagne when they found out it was our wedding night, and arranged to have the chocolates we ordered from Temper chocolates (highly recommend also) to be waiting in our room with our bottle of champagne! Beds and robes were so comfy! The coffee that came up in the morning was delicious! Such a swanky and luxurious place to spend the evening after our wedding! We got a corner king suite- would definitely recommend it for the big windows overlooking the fun Rino art district! We live in Denver but will definitely be staying here again for a night out on the town. Didn't get to really experience Death and Co because we were so tired when we got back to the hotel but the vibe of that bar area is amazing and we'll be coming back to get that experience too! read more

I was fortunate enough to be able to stay here a few weeks ago and had a great experience. I appreciate their attention to detail.

While I did not personally spend the night here (that's the reason for the 4-Star rating), I was involved in a wedding party which used this hotel as their place to stay. The rooms are amazing and very comfortable. The views will vary depending on your location in the building. The room I was in, for example, looked down onto the interior courtyard of the hotel where they hold private events. All of the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and unique. The large showers are amazing and the beds are comfy. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating and made sure we were all taken care of. The location of the hotel is perfect, too, as you're right in downtown Denver and you will have access to both major freeways (I-25 and I-70). read more

I needed a hotel in denver on a business trip...chose Ramble because of website pics and room service...what a mistake...staying here now as I write this....some of what they do is top notch, like staff at check in, and room decor, which is fantastic. But no room service except for breakfast...tried to get dinner from thoer bar downstairs, was put on small boxes and cold. Heat in room doesnt work. TV not easy to access...no iron...no microwave...not happy... read more

I am very disappointed in my experience with The Ramble. In the current state of COVID19, no refunds or credits are being offered. My event was cancelled and we had still planned to visit Denver, however, with the current restrictions on flights (and I am from Seattle), it is in the best interest as suggested by health care, to engage in social distancing. I am very disappointed when talking to the front desk (and Expedia) that the concern was to keep my money versus offering a credit for a different time as we would have gladly accepted that or even, to split the difference. I understand this has hit all local and small businesses hard and I gladly patron those establishments, but when speaking to the person at the front desk, who clearly stated, it was more important to have my money for their small business than to offer an alternative, then I would choose to not stay at this establishment or recommend it to others. It is partnership during these unprecedented times and I am sad to say, I did not feel valued as a customer. read more

Went to the restaurant yesterday. The food was delicious and inexpensive, however, the service was appalling. Slow, Inattentive and rude waitresses. Had to ask for milk for our coffee 3 times and finally the waitress brought some but explained that she had other things to attend attend to. What?? read more

Horrible experience. Went there last night and was put on a waitlist. Understandable because we had 9 people at the time with us. After an hour and a half wait and walking to other bars we were finally texted to let us know we could sit. It was only 7 of us now. And they only had seats for 6 so I grabbed a chair from another seating area as the host and manager didn't accommodate us for the original number of people we had let alone the lesser number of people. Then I was told I couldn't move chairs and was given the excuse that it was blocking the walkway when there was clearly 3-4 feet of room to walk around the chair as there was before after he brought a replacement chair. The host was then instructed by the manager to move the comfy leather chair back to where it came from at which she made an overly excited clapping gesture basking in her enjoyment at the fact that my gf had to sit on a hard wooden folding chair. In addition to this after we sat down we waited for close to 20-30 mins at which point no waiter or waitress came. We decided to leave at this point. Service was sub par and manager was rude in her actions. I won't be coming back nor will I bring clients or friends here. read more

Beautiful hotel. Attention to detail was amazing. Fabulous design and decor. The staff was really nice and helpful. Great vibe in an interesting area. One major issue. This is a non smoking hotel which they make perfectly clear, what they don't tell you is that if you are found to be smoking in your room ( even just a tiny little bit, I'm not talking a party) it's an automatic $500.00 charge. No first time warning. Simple solution , be transparent and tell guests. They were very clear that it's $50.00 if you lose your room key. There should be signage in each room about the smoking charge. My charge did get reduced by half, but it was not ok because I should have been told about the policy charge ahead of time. read more

Alert- people with disabilities! If you have to rely on a service animal then do not book here. Hey will not allow you inside their property. Even with identification you can not stay here. They will hassle you, ask you every question that they legally are not allowed to ask and they will inevitably turn you away. The general manager Andrew- will discriminate and make you feel very uncomfort. The manager will act like he allows them but he won't. He tried to tel me my identified government official service dog is an emotional support dog. read more

Been a fashion photographer in LA for the past 12 years. Called Ramble Hotel to inquire of a shoot, non-professional, just a trial vintage test image in their lobby to see if this is a viable location for a professional shoot, and the permit fee is $500 plus you must rent a room, starting at $240, so to take a photo inside their lobby with a permit is $740. Just for a test shoot of 5-7 images. Much more than any permit in LA!!!! And Tess at the front desk was a bit snobby about this. Will definitely never go here for anything, ever. read more

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. HOWEVER, be sure to book your reservation online because the exchange I received over the phone was awful. The person at the front desk seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. I feel completely turned off from this hotel as this is the second time I tried booking for our first wedding anniversary. (Which I mentioned -- which did not perk up his mood at all). The first time they asked me to call back because they were "too busy". For as much as we were willing to spend on a suite I was hoping for better service. read more

Beautiful hotel in RINO, close to lots of interesting restaurants and hang outs but the best is the new Death and Co bar in the hotel, quite possibly the most enjoyable cocktails Ive had in Denver. Very inventive, interesting and all were delicious. The hotel itself has a few kinks to work out but nothing out of the ordinary for one that is newly opened. We recently stayed at this hotel for a fun visit to Denver. I was impressed buy the overall look of this hotel, it was beautifully designed and located in the arts district. The positives were the bed, it was very comfortable and I usually sleep on a tempurpedic so I can be picky ;) The hotel had details that made our experience better including a light up vanity to do your make up, large bottles of soap/lotion/shampoo etc (used these all week with no refills-- these tend to be very drying on your skin though), a steamer for clothes (no irons here), a in-room bar with water/alcohol, refrigerator, and lovely walk in shower. The air conditioner worked well in our room which made sleeping more comfortable. The cons- and I hate saying this- but I found the staff unwelcoming and rude. I felt to be a pest asking about local attractions I may be interested in visiting. I also felt an inconvenience just ordering food/drinks. The parking was an issue if you rent a car. You pay 30$ per night to park since there is no garage to park in, a valet has to park your vehicle (they were very kind), unless you have the time to move your car every 2 hours! Sadly, I gave this a 3 rating based on our experience of the staff, would have been a 5 otherwise. This hotel is within a short hours drive to many different parks/attractions. Makes a great middle ground in town to seek out different sites if you don't go expecting exceptional customer service. read more

My fiancé and myself stayed at the Ramble Hotel during our six day stay in Denver. I selected the hotel after my awesome experience at Death and Co in NYC, and the hotel didn't disappoint! It is absolutely beautiful, with a retro feel, and the idea of having the bar in the lobby is an awesome way to keep the environment lively and bustling! The bar, of course, was amazing (Death and Co really knows how to make a cocktail an EXPERIENCE, not just a drink), and every staff member we came across was amazing! Including the staff when we checked out -- we had a super early check out and I was having a very bad anxiety attack, and one of the bartenders, even though they were closed and cleaning up, still made me a drink with soda water and bitters after she realized I wasn't feeling so well (I wish I had gotten her name, because that was so nice of her and completely unexpected and made traveling a bit easier for me). Our host and hostesses at the hotel desk were always friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make our experience amazing! Even housekeeping services went out of their way to ensure our stay was amazing to make sure we were okay and had all the supplies we needed. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone -- out of towners, like ourselves, and locals alike (looking for either a drink or a stay-cation) -- and look forward to a return trip where we will stay here again! Again, AMAZING hotel, but EXCEPTIONAL staff, who made our time and our visit feel treasured and valued. read more
