    Beautiful Course

This spot is a local hotspot. Never thought a place like this is tucked away in the mountains. It has beautiful views, and the vibe is awesome. During our visit, the was a live performer singing good tunes which added to the serenity. Played 9 holes here with some friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Par 5 was the max if I remembered correctly. It was great for a pushcart instead of the golf cart. Before hand, we did grab a bite to eat at their restaurant. Sandwich and fries was good. We didn't overload on anything crazy before our game. Walking the course was a great idea after a nice lunch. I would love to come back and play another round sometimes. Love this spot!

What a fantastic 9 hole course! Once on the links you can't see or feel the bustle of the greater OC outside - it's like a Jurassic Park oasis! Well maintained and most golfers walking makes it a great vibe for casual golf. Play can be slow, but that seems to fit the vibe. Gorgeous pro shop, great deck with live music and food makes it a perfect afternoon/evening.

Beautiful amazing course! One of my all time favorites. Was here about 6 months ago and was surprised at the recent changes. the young guys in the pro shop were very rude from start to finish. My husband found a club on the golf course and didn't even get a thank you. Hostesses at the restaurant weren't friendly, and there was a $200 minimum to sit at the couches by the fire and musician even though the restaurant was not full and they were all empty. We still had a couple drinks and enjoyed the nice weather and view. Maybe there's new management? Hopefully we'll have a better experience next time.

I recently played at the ranch on a Tuesday with a 4:46pm tee time. I was shocked to see how busy the course was on a weekday evening. We were backed up on holes 2 and 3 but didn't have any other issues after that. This 9 hole course offers an option to ride or walk. It was well maintained and had beautiful views. We easily got all 9 holes done in 2 hours.

Finally got back out on the golf course today... after the rains I was a little bit concerned with how much mud there would be. There was the tiniest amount. The day was so beautiful and warm , little bit windy, but the courses are open. The carts are out the push carts are out everyone was having a great day. And, of course, at their outdoor café, they had the live musical performance . Always such a treat ...

I wish I could give this place a 4.5. The overall experience is that of a private course, yet it's open to the public. The course has so much variety that you can work on your game a lot. Beautiful, almost like Kualoa Ranch because of the valley feel. NOTES: you have to valet your car (complimentary) so bring cash! Also beware of ticks!

Wedding venue. Staff was amazing, food was delicious. Scenery was picturesque. Could not have been better.

The app deleted my draft again, so here is the short version: Positives: Great customer service, scenic Exec (9 hole vs 18 hole course), and well maintained. Negatives: I believe the price is $48 that is more than an 18 hole course, too many par 3s around the same length (200 yds), and not enuf bend in the fairways. The cost is too much for me to play all the time, but its an easy walking course, and there is a nice outdoor restaurant when you finish.

What an awesome location for the best golf course in Southern California. The course is managed near perfectly and service is par excellent. Exceptional scenery and beautiful lawns and quiet tranquility all around, it's nicest nine holes in Southern California. The sunny hazy morning surrounded misty mountains circumscribed flat nine beautiful greens with just right amount of bunkers and hills and trees to make par fours and threes exciting to play. Small creek on two holes are filled with balls that nobody cared to fish! The creek beds were muddy and not cleaned for a very long time but the important grounds were meticulously maintained. It was wonderful overall. I give fat five stars for this little jewel of Laguna Beach.

Is it fairly easy to walk?

Yes it is just over a mile walking distance around the course

Can my dog come with me and walk or run outside the cart?

No dogs. But who cares. Ben Browns doubled! their golf rates a few months ago, Unless you paid $750 a year to get old rates? Never heard of such a FU deal in my life. On principal will never go again after playing 40 years. Sorry I'm a little…

No hello, no good morning, nothing. We were the only two people in the pro shop. It was very weird. When asked if we could possibly tee off earlier, he gave us an explanation that made zero sense and treated us like we were stupid for even asking. Apparently 7AM means, "there's no room" to tee off before 7AM. Well, there is room as no one playing 18 holes tees off before 7AM. People playing 9 holes tee off earlier but on a different starting hole. We also have eyes and could see no one was teeing off. So, there is plenty of "room". We are talking about golf, not hotel vacancy. I have had other courses be more than accommodating with this type of request and almost encourage it because it's going to get groups out and keep the pace of play flowing. I find it very strange when businesses choose to put an asshole with zero personality or customer service skills as the representative who takes money from guests and is typically their first impression of the course. The course is fine. Overpriced but decent. The greens were very smooth. Soggy in a lot of spots. The starter asked what tees I was thinking of playing off and I told him probably orange. I decided the black tee box was in better shape on our starting hole and decided to tee it up there. The next thing I see is the starter hurrying over through a packed practice green shouting why I wasn't playing from the orange tees. What??? He then stood next to the tee box staring at me while I teed off. Leave the paying guests alone and also have some golf etiquette.

The course is absolutely stunning, and honestly, photos don't do it justice. The views are incredible from every angle. You have to see it in person to understand how special it is. Where else in Orange County can you play golf with this kind of scenery, service, and overall experience? And OMG... look at the golf cart! Even the smallest details here feel luxurious. The carts, the facilities, the landscaping, and the entire atmosphere show that this place is built around providing a premium experience--not just a round of golf. Not many public golf courses offer valet parking, but here it's part of the experience. From the moment you arrive, the staff greets you professionally and provides outstanding service every single time. Everyone is friendly, organized, and truly understands hospitality. One thing that really impressed me: tee times are actually on schedule--even on weekends! That is rare. At Monarch Beach golf course can run 30 -45 minutes behind on weekends. Here, they respect your time and deliver the kind of service you expect from a luxury destination. The weather is amazing, the views are unforgettable, and having two courses gives you even more reasons to come back. Every detail feels carefully designed. If you're willing to drive around looking for the cheapest golf deal, this probably isn't the place for you. This is not an average golf course for the average golfer. It's a destination. It's the kind of place you should play at least once in your lifetime.

At nights it's not as consistent and you get more of a " let me get your server type of feeling " but the management seems to be great on the floors so I'm just confused on where the complacency from some employees has came from.
