Having a wider range of modern, user-friendly machines would not only improve workouts but also show that the gym is keeping up with members' needs and fitness trends. At the current membership rate, the value just isn't aligned with the quality being offered. To put it into perspective, if I were a potential new member taking a tour for the first time, I would likely assume the membership fee should be closer to $10-15 a month based on the current condition and amenities. I'm sharing this feedback because I genuinely believe this gym has great potential. The privacy and convenience are strong selling points, but without updates and improvements, it's hard to justify the monthly cost. I hope management takes this into consideration, as investing in upgrades would not only improve member satisfaction but also attract more new sign-ups.

I am not in shape - at all but the ad showed women who look like me doing it so I thought - why not - I will give it a try. To my utter surprise I could do almost everything during the workout. Some exercises needed modifications and the instructor was so kind and helpful that I didn't feel weird asking for help or an alternative to what we were doing. Since then I have been to at least a dozen classes with various instructors and I have yet to have a negative experience. The atmosphere is calm and supportive. The employees are friendly and genuinely care about the people coming in. I met the owners/managers and they were passionate about the philosophy behind Pilates and I was inspired by that on the first day. The cost is a little high depending on your budget, but it is also a worthwhile experience and they offer different packages and also an individual class price if you don't want to do a membership bundle. Highly recommended - especially if you are new to or getting back into fitness. All bodies are welcome and you will feel accepted.

I placed an order on March 26 for some triathlon clothing. I made my purchases from the sale section because I didn't want to make a huge investment when I don't even know if I'll do another tri (I hope I do). My order consisted of tri shorts and a tri top. Both were from previous years (like 2007 or something). The very next day, I received a call from Jamie at PowerTri telling me that they'd just shipped their last pair of tri shorts at the sale price I purchased 'em at, and if it was ok with me, she'd go ahead and ship the 2008 shorts at the same price. Um, first of all, I had no idea that clothes, like cars, come in model years. This has been an interesting thing to learn, as it seems shorts are shorts. At any rate, I really had to applaud PowerTri for calling me and letting me know that they were out of what I ordered but would send me it's current replacement. That's pretty awesome; you can't beat that desire to please the customer!!! I sent Jamie an email that night letting her know that, yes, it was fine to go ahead and ship the '08 shorts. She put everything in the mail right away. On Monday, the 31st I received my package. Everything was neatly packaged, and there was a surprise Gu gel included (Strawberry Banana)!!! Awesome! I love unexpected surprises; it's those little things that count! I would totally shop at PowerTri again--they have a great selection of things to choose from, their prices are reasonable, customer service is excellent and the time between placing the order and receiving it is minimal. It's win--win for them (loyal customer) and me (good, quality stuff!).

The classes were packed with enthusiastic participants, but to the point where it made it difficult to fully immerse myself in the experience. The Kundalini class was super interesting and the instructor seemed knowledgeable. The gym is very clean and nice. I was just missing that cozy, intimate feeling that I've come to expect from really nice gyms/studios. We also got smoothies at the cafe upstairs and they were both excellent and the barista was super cute and accommodating!
