The Real McCOY is back!! At 3300 Lawrence Ave East. Corner of Bellamy and Lawrence. Ordered the home burger with everything on it. Great spacious area compared to their original location. Great to see George back!

Lacklustre. Prices have gone up slightly as expected but still reasonable. Fish burger is just not hitting that spot and I couldn't even finish the poutine. Minimal gravy and they don't use cheese curds here. Very disappointing. Gravy still the same and very good though. Hubby thought the mojo burger was fine. Not much change which is a good thing. Nonetheless we still gonna keep going to Fearless Meat on Kingston Rd for our home style beef and fish burger fix! Happy real mccoys is back open but just not hitting the spot unfortunately. Also very crowded so come with extra dose of patience.

The Real McCoy is back in a new Scarborough location. The new storefront is much more spacious and there are also now limited tables for having your meal on-prem. Food is the same and fantastic!

I'm doing one last Yelp of a Scarborough burger joint with some history Sadly after 50+ years the place is closing this upcoming weekend due to the fact that condo developers have bought out the land....a sad state of Scarborough's slow gentrification process I went in early to beat the lunch crowd today .... I ordered my mojo burger and onion rings The burger is sooooooo so good I packed it with my usual toppings of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles with some BBQ sauce The onion rings are such a good compliment to them Big...with lots of added batter...and super crispy I want to thank George and the entire staff at McCoy's for making the burgers and pizza we love The place has so much memories I still remember back in the 90's hitting this place up for a slice of pizza before heading up the road towards Markham to Club Inferno.... The burgers here are and continue to be epic I hope to learn of your new location that you open up in Scarborough in the future where I'll once again enjoy another Mojo and rings Thank you again

Sad that this place is closing but hoping to see them open up at a new location. It's been a while since I've been here and the prices have gone up as expected. They were super busy but still pretty organized and took around 20 min to get our order. I got the mojo burger with onion rings and poutine. The burger is huge and I actually couldn't finish it in one sitting. I love how crunchy the onion rings are and each ring is pretty big. This is also the first time I got the poutine and it's really classic. Hope to be back more before closing.

The mojo burger was very good: juicy & tasty, with a nice flame grilled taste & fresh toppings. The bacon was crispy, tasty & generous. It needed more cheese though. The pepperoni pizza slice was big & had a lot of good quality cheese. There was enough pepperoni, though it didn't have a particularly special taste & the pizza sauce was ok. It was not greasy as I'd read it was - the crust was on the drier side, even (there was no greasy feel after I'd handled it).

I decided to swing by Real McCoy's after numerous endorsements by a friend who visits the place frequently for its burgers and pizzas. Real McCoy's has satisfied local Scarborough diners for its juicy burgers and decadent pizzas for no-frills prices for the last 50 years and counting! Their trademark MOJO Burger is packed with homemade flavours and honestly, it's better than a lot of fancy places. The burgers are cooked right in front of you and are crafted with whatever condiments you crave for! The onion rings are enormous with the right amount of batter to onion ratio to complement the savoriness of the MOJO burger. The staff is quite friendly and be sure to bring cash/debit as those are the only accepted payments at this place! There is a lot of nostalgia at Real McCoy's and it's a gem that many people in the local Scarborough community cherish so much. I can't wait to be back to satisfy my cravings for a greasy burger every now and then!

Reason for Visit: Had to visit the famous Real Mccoys. Menu: Was driving in area and I knew I had to drop by. THis is a local joint that everyone in the area knows. Been around for ages and they are known for their burger, pizza and fries. I got their pizza and it was HUGE. Stuffed with so many toppings. Their poutine is deadly good. I honestly wouldn't advise eating here too often only cause you might straight up get a heart attack. But honestly, it might be worth it cause they really perfected their art. It is not surprising to see their business was not affected during Covid at all as their take out demand is off the charts. Service: These guys are so efficient. I don't actually know how they manage to get an order for a pizza and have it ready in 15-20 minutes. Insane efficiency. Freshly made. Overall: Honestly if you in the area, should really drop by this Scarborough gem.

The place is closing down by Dec 24, 2022 due to development in the area but it might be earlier than that. They said they'll hopefully open at another location soon. Heard they were closing business so had to come try before it happened. The guy taking orders was really nice. The burger was huge, it was definitely larger than the norm. Usually, after cooking the meat patty, it shrinks so the bun is larger than the patty but this one was the same size. The meat patty was thick and juicy. Have a choice of the classic toppings: pickles, lettuce, onions and tomato plus ketchup and mustard. The fries were thick cut and soft crispy, not amazing fries. The onion ring had a very thick batter layer, would not get this again. There were four guys there, eating then taking photos outside the place. The guy at the cashier said they have been coming since they were in highschool, 40 years ago!! Overall, will definitely be back if they open a new location.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

It's another thing to ghost me and renege on your offer, which makes you and your business look unprofessional and unpolished. (488)

Don't…read morebe fooled by the simple location and the charming, home-drawn logo: the pizzas are unique, with the most flavorful tomato sauce and mozzarella, delightful pepperoni and an assortment of artisan quality toppings. Mark's turns out some of the most flavorful pizzas in Pickering and East Scarborough, and I've tried a lot of pizza! Each week, they have a different feature pizza, and the full size pizzas are similar to a New York style, with the thin, crisp bottom crust surrounded by a heftier, lightly charred edge crust. Full pizzas are ordered in advance on line, but they have Italian sandwiches and pizza slices to go (subject to availability). The slices have a thicker crust than the full pizzas, and look delicious. There is limited seating for eating in, and Mark's mainly does a take-out business. I went on line earlier today, and ordered a 6:00 pick-up. The online order system is efficient and user-friendly. We had a pepperoni pizza as well as this week's special, a meatball and pesto pizza. Both were excellent, and the tomato sauce really stood out. It was garlicy, herbaceous and delightfully savory; quite different from the bland, sweet tomato sauce served up by most of the large chains. The crust was flavorful, and lightly charred to perfection, giving it a slightly smoky flavor. As a crust snob, I was very pleased! The meatball and pesto pizza was really good, with flavorful, juicy mini-meatballs and delightfully garlic-forward pesto. The pesto, made from pumpkin seeds rather than the traditional pine nuts, was so good with bold garlic and basil flavours. The pepperoni pizza was superb, with the cup-and-char, New York style pepperoni. My whole family was delighted!! In short, the pizzas are remarkably flavourful, and their preparation shows time, care, and attention to quality ingredients, as well as a superior crust. It was worth the drive from Pickering, and with the efficiency of Hwy. 2, took only about 15 minutes. Parking is a bit tight, but there is frequent turnover of parking spots.
