I'm forgetful so I appreciate the reminder texts and how prompt they are in responding. Not to mention their hours are late (7pm I believe) so I used to come after work for a 6pm appt The facility is really clean and I feel safe here. They take my temperature and check my oxygen levels before servicing me. I was afraid of needles (still am) but these needles are painless and after every session, I feel immediate relief. I do acupuncture for stress/anxiety, acid reflux, allergies, blood circulation and from time to time muscle aches or strains. I feel so relaxed and the massage afterwards is incredible. Both Jessie and Deena have miraculous hands and I like my deep tissue massage. I also started doing PT and Dr. Lee is amazing. I've had a bad knee since I've had ACL surgery so he's been helping me with exercises and stretches to increase my mobility and range. But to note that they all speak a certain language I don't personally feel affects the rating of the quality of service and medical skills. This is New York City. The Chinese speak Chinese. The Hispanic peoples speak Spanish. And those of the Philippines also speak their native tongue. And that's that. And, as a proud New Yorker, until the day if GOD deems it right that the earth all speak one language again, I would have it no other way. After one initial visit (believing in chiropractic services over the last 30 years without hesitation), I have now had doubts on the validity of their internal practices. While DOCTOR FERNANDE is definitely empathetic and truly wants to help heal your maladies, their internal staff and practices are very questionable. My second visit there was because of an auto accident and after the internal staff was very alluring on the outside the inside has much to be appreciated when rotten. I was readmitted after my accident, as a new patient under insurance terms instead of personal payments and the price hike was astounding. After trying to adjust or at least be seen they told me that I should revoke my admissions to their office simply because my insurance wouldn't take it instead of paying my regular cash only price that I was originally offered. IRS, are you watching? I highly recommend no one ever step foot in this office they are not out for your well-being they're out for your money and they will only see you as far as my experience here go, if you have insurance issues that will pay their higher insurance prices. All of the staff and professionals are kind, good-natured, and lovely. Upon entry, the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of Longevity are readily apparent, and are just such a contrast to the Muy Thai gym on the 2nd floor, much less the rest of the stress and bustle of the rest of NYC. All that changed after I started seeing Finbar. I'm an athlete and a dancer so I run into bodily injuries here and there. This past spring my back was in bad shape and went into spasm. I could barely walk without pain and definitely couldn't arch at all. I had a competition approaching and needed to recover in time for it.
