    Short Ribs Ragu'
    Ian O.

It's alright... We were greeted by staff as soon as we walked in. Friendly employee and restaurant has a generally clean interior. If you haven't been here before, you order off the iPad, find your own table and wait for your order. They'll call your name and you walk over to the kitchen to grab your plate. Ambiance is noisy with loud kitchen noises of the cooks working diligently and the music is loud enough to accompany the clang of the dishes being cleaned. We ordered the Short Ribs Ragu and well... it was just alright. The noodles and "short ribs" were bland. The meat is more consistent with stew meat and as my wife said, it's just missing the carrots, potatoes and the stew itself. The portion size is fine in terms of the noodles/pasta itself. The meat portion is minimal and after tax, we were out the door at just shy of $41. We did order a flavored Pellegrino. Overall, just not impressed. Again, nice staff, clean restaurant, it's loud but if you're fine with that... cool. Food is nothing to rant about at $20/plate.

The guy at the register making pasta was so nice, explained the menu. Really friendly service. Food was amazing! Pasta was all fresh and so good. Nice seating outside.

My friend and I were immediately greeted by the friendly staff and offered menus to take a look (it was our first time). Ordering was very easy via the kiosk but the staff also offered to take our order if we needed help, which we appreciated! Interior was very clean, bright natural lighting, and not too noisy. I ordered the Short Rib Ragu with Creste Di Gallo pasta and added a focaccia. Shared a side salad with my friend! The salad is delicious and so refreshing! We both loved our pasta dishes so much. We thought that the Short Rib Ragu was a little more on the savory side whereas her Bolognese Ragu was more light but still savory. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back again to try other sauces and pasta combinations.

Had delivery of Due' Cucina and I just ate the best piece of eggplant I've ever tasted. The Mediterranea Salad is a vibrant, delicious concoction of marinated eggplant, capers, olives, lettuce and radish. It's a marvelous explosion of Mediterranean flavors for your mouth. I also got the Mortadella Sandwich which was decent. I probably wouldn't get it again. Also because I'm anxious to try their other sandwiches, Porchetta and Carbonara. Due' Cucina is surprising me in a good way because we haven't had good Italian around here in a while. Tavolata is ok and Tropea is a staple but nothing to write home about IMHO. I'm now going to eat my cannoli which is bound to be delicious because hey "how can you mess up a cannoli?" I will definitely visit to try some of their fresh pastas in the future.

had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The pasta was absolutely delicious, clearly fresh and well prepared, with great texture and flavor. You can really tell that the quality of the ingredients matters here, and the dishes feel comforting without being heavy. The staff was another strong point. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful when it came to explaining the menu and guiding us through the options. Service was fast and efficient, which made the overall experience smooth and enjoyable, especially if you are coming for a quick but satisfying meal. The only downside is the limited number of vegetarian options on the menu. While what is available is good, I wish there were a few more creative or varied vegetarian choices to make the experience more inclusive for those who do not eat meat. Overall, it is a great spot for fresh and tasty pasta with excellent service. With a slightly expanded vegetarian selection, it would easily become a regular go to place.

Supposedly short ribs and pasta. Get half cooked dough and one bite of shredded beef.

The pasta is pretty tasteless. Portion is tiny. Service crew was focused joking with one another. You do all the self service, including grabbing the food, utensils, and is still expected to tip. What a joke of a place. Artisanal pasta with crappy packaged black pepper . That goes to show how well they think of their own crafted food. Never again. I rather walk 5 more mins and have proper Italian food and service at Zio Sal.

I've only ever visited the totem lake location, and I gotta say I definitely prefer the redmond location. For many reasons...it's more inviting, spacious, more windows for natural sunlight, you got different seating (high table, booth, outdoor) and they even have some cute merch displayed! They got gluten free pasta (yay!). I love that their portions are generous. In terms of service you can order at the cashier or you can order and pay using one of the devices. Street parking available or you can park in the building and get it validated from the restaurant.

DUE' CUCINA @ REDMOND Parking is available for street right out front of the place, it's two hours for free and very easy to snatch. If it's packed, i'd recommend parking at Redmond Town Center in the parking garage for free with no time limit, it will just be a short 10 minute walk to the restaurant! I've never been to a "fast" italian restaurant before where there is no server or where it's a sit down restaurant. I was shocked to be ordering from a legit tablet. It was easy, it was new, and it was innovated. Prices were moderately cheap for pasta, $13? I'm shocked it isn't $30! My friends and I got the Bolognese & the Kale Pesto. As well as the Focaccia Bread. We self seated ourselves, each table had a flower, and it was fairly clean. Food was ready within 10 minutes, great portions, and it was pretty delicious. I really loved the pasta shape and how it was a bit chewy. It was delicious and full of flavor, the focaccia bread was also amazing, a bit salty but had great flavor. It wasn't hot or warm however. This place is also where you clean up after yourself, so on the side of the place, is stacks full of dishes and cups - a bit disgusting as it was piled up as if the workers didn't clean it throughout the day, more like at the end of the day. Our total was about $33, not too bad for a fast "italian" restaurant, would recommend to try.

Perfection! That was excellent service, quality pasta, average noise here. That works. Best pasta in Redmond IMO!

Due' Cucina has been expanding recently, with its latest opening in Redmond! Considered a casual and quick service Italian restaurant, customers simply choose their pasta, sauce and any add-ons to customize their own creation. However, you can also select from their menu specials which include lasagna and eggplant parmesan, both of which I always find tempting. This time, I knew I wanted their SHORT RIB RAGU ($14.70) and per an employee's recommendation, I selected the Paccheri pasta. He suggested that its large tube shape would jive best with the sauce, so that made for an easy decision. That day, about half of the customers opted for takeout versus dining in based on the screens above the open kitchen that display the status of each order. Our three pastas were all ready and packed up after about 10 minutes. When I opened my container, it didn't look like there was much meat at all, but I found more hidden under the pasta at the bottom of the box. It was not a large portion of meat, but at least more than what I saw at first glance. The short rib was super tender and succulent, however, the tomato sauce was not as flavorful as I expected. No doubt it was fresh, but it seemed to be missing herbs and some salt. On top of that, there wasn't much sauce either, so my pasta was on the drier side and the large tubes didn't have much to hold within them. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente though, so that was a plus. Service-wise, the employee whom we interacted with was very personable and seemed genuinely happy to answer customers' questions. With this being a fairly recent opening, perhaps they are still trying to work out some kinks. Based on the dish I had that day, I would not consider it worth the value, however I'd be open to giving it another shot in the future. 3.75 stars.

This is a great spot in Redmond for reasonably priced and affordable pasta dishes. Street parking was very easy nearby. The restaurant itself was clean, well-lit, and inviting. It was also easy to order on the tablets. I ordered spaghetti with pomodoro with burrata and focaccia on the side. Overall, the meal was good, but I thought the burrata was a bit too firm. Portion sizes were reasonable.

We went here, having been to the Kirkland location a few times. This location does not cut it. Service is not exactly attentive, and that's basically...well, wait. There is no service. You order at a kiosk, go to the kitchen outpost to pick up your food, get your own utensils and other table needs, and bus your own table. When we needed anything, the employees' reaction was either perfunctory minimal effort or indifference and an annoyed attitude with a slow and delayed effort. So, same as basically no service. The food was not nearly as good as the Kirkland location. It lacked flavor and was extra greasy, which is not what we expected after our Kirland experiences. Certainly not at a quality that's worth the prices charged. Parking is a joke. The signs for the building's garage clearly state that you get two free hours with "immediate retail validation." Umm, not much in the building besides this restaurant. But the restaurant chef told us, "No. We don't do that. They charge us for that stuff, so we don't." Okay. That will add almost $9 to your total for eating here. So, for all these reasons, and because they do not add up to good quality and value for the money, we will not be going back to this location.

The ladies at the stand are always very friendly and helpful in their suggestions (such as which type of sauce to pair with the pasta, or the flavor of the pasta or ravioli filling). Thus far, we've gotten the egg bucatini, the red pepper bucatini, the seasonal gnocchi, and the dreamy garlic spread. Generally, I'm not a big fan of fresh pasta, because many times, I feel it gets too mushy (or perhaps it is the quality of the pasta). La Pasta fresh pasta has never been mushy; it has that imperative al dente bite-- a clear sign of good quality pasta. The gnocchi is flavorful and pairs well with the dreamy garlic spread. Looking forward to trying the pumpkin ravioli later in the week. The price is comparable to the fresh pasta you would find at a specialty store, like Whole Foods, Metropolitan Market, or PCC Markets-- however, La Pasta's quality is far superior. La Pasta products are worth the price. We look forward to trying any new products, as well as upcoming seasonals. We also hope that they may have a brick and mortar store in the future on the Eastside for the farmer's market offseason.

I ordered the spaghetti carbonara which had no flavor, pasty sauce, and the most basic grocery-store bought noodles I have ever eaten. I tried adding salt and Parmesan cheese - anything for flavor - and like a black hole that captured light the dish refused flavor. I ate a quarter of it and tapped out. My friend ordered another dish and plowed through mine and his, drank his wine, and said nothing. As he paid and we left he simmered with anger and when I inquired why he said that the wine tasted like a bottle that sat in too hot of conditions and had a most acidic taste of an spoiled wine. He noted his displeasure of the dishes they were out of stock on (no lasagna, no calamari available) and the fact that it was the worst Italian food he had ever eaten. He said my noodles tasted like glue. I don't know why he drank the horrible wine or ate mine and his food, except that he was hungry, but he was cranky for the rest of the day.
