I did think it was a bit odd to have drinks in to go cups, though. The tables are packed in pretty tight, so you're going to have to be friendly with your neighbors when you get up to leave from the booth side. The acoustics are also not great, and added with close tables, it's hard to carry on a conversation.

We were able to get street parking a couple blocks away. We walked in around 1:30pm on a Saturday. We took a few moments to figure out what we wanted to eat. Placed our order. My cappuccino was ready within a few minutes and the rest of food came out in about 10 minutes. All of our food was delicious. We got the baked Brie again & it was just as good as the first time. We split the Picnic in Paris sandwich- it was also incredibly yummy. The croissant was flaky. Smoked turkey was flavorful. And the blackberry aioli was perfection. This place is really lovely. The food is packed with flavor. It's reasonably priced. And the atmosphere is unique & "homey." I highly recommend stopping by & trying it out!

We ordered biscuits and gravy, a piece of toast and the Berry Good Toast with an iced coffee and a cup of house coffee. The gravy was a spicy milk gravy that would make any granny proud. My Berry Good Toast was so delicious. It was multigrain toast with a thin layer of strawberry cream cheese, a drizzle of honey strawberries, and blueberries with a angel kiss of powdered sugar. It was perfection. My coffee was robust and the much needed pick-me-up. My friend purchased a coffee mug to remember our time in Madison. I will cherish it always. I love this place!

The lunch menu is small but covers everything. Our food for all 10 people came out at the same time and in only about 15 minutes. I was super impressed. Sandwiches were pretty greasy and lacked fresh/crunchy elements but we all enjoyed quite a bit as we were hungry from a hike at Clifty Falls. My turkey pita press was heavy on the chipotle mayo/melted cheese/bacon and slid apart but the portion was generous and it was as advertised. Service was amazing and I'd highly recommend to hungry tourists like us! They are working with a tight space and are doing an amazing job accommodating everyone and turning out quick and quality food.
